Abstract

Chalcones and pyrazolines are heterocyclic compounds with promising biological and pharmaceutical activities. Chalcone and pyrazoline can be found in different sources, such as natural and synthetic compounds. This study aimed to explore the synthesis of chalcone and pyrazoline derivatives with acetophenone and veratraldehyde as precursors. Chalcone was successfully synthesized through the Claissen-Schmidt reaction between acetophenone and veratraldehyde at room temperature 25-30 ºC and mediated by KOH as a base catalyst for 20 hours. The corresponding substituted pyrazoline derivative was also successfully synthesized through a cyclocondensation reaction between the synthesized chalcone and phenylhydrazine as starting materials under reflux conditions at temperatures of 75-80 ºC for 4 hours. The Chalcone A derivative compound obtained was (E)-3-(3,4-dimethoxy phenyl)-1-phenyl prop-2-en-1-one (Chalcone A). The Pyrazoline A derivative compound was obtained as pyrazole compound 5-(3,4-dimethoxy phenyl)-1,3-diphenyl-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazole (pyrazoline A). Chalcone A and Pyrazoline A obtained as yellowish and brownish-orange powders in 14.89 % and 66.57 % yields, respectively. The chastities of Chalcone A and Pyrazoline A was 98.55 % and 88.54 %, respectively. A qualitative identification for both synthesized compounds was performed using normal-phase thin-layer chromatography which revealed the Rf value for Chalcone A and Pyrazoline A was 0.43 (in mobile phase ethyl acetate:n-hexane 3:1 v/v) and 0.55 (in mobile phase DCM:n-hexane 3:1 v/v), respectively. Moreover, the elucidation structure of synthesized compounds using FTIR and GC-MS instruments revealed the structure of synthesized Chalcone A and Pyrazoline A agrees with the theoretical structure of Chalcone A and Pyrazoline A. Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan Pengembangan Digital Marketing Melalui Media Sosial Pada UMKM Hawary Kost. Diharapkan kegiatan pengabdian ini dapat membantu perekonomian pengusaha kost untuk mampu memanfaatkan digital marketing secara optimal. Pelatihan digital marketing diberikan penulis kepada pengusaha kost Hawary pada bulan Oktober-November 2024. Pelatihan diberikan secara daring sesuai dengan kesepakatan penulis dengan pemilik kost Hawary. Dengan mengoptimalkan digital marketing, hal ini dapat memaksimalkan potensi yang dimiliki Hawary Kost untuk banyak dikenal banyak kalangan. pemanfaatan digital marketing memiliki kelebihan dan dapat mempermudah proses peluncuran produk serta meminimalkan biaya pemasaran. Digital marketing juga dapat digunakan sebagai alat untuk memantau perilaku konsumen mengenai keinginan, kebutuhan, dan tren konsumen. Menggabungkan digital marketing ke dalam praktik bisnis dapat menjadi media komunikasi yang ditujukan untuk pengembangan bisnis dalam berbagai aspek, seperti meningkatkan kehadiran bisnis dan penjualan.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of electric field exposure duration at the voltage of 10 volt on goldfish Carassius auratus auratus gonadal development maintained in 3 ppt salinity media. The experiment consisted of four treatments in triplicates i.e. control, two, four, and six minutes of electrical-field exposure. The experiment design used was completely randomized design. Fish used was female goldfish at the density of 4 fish/aquarium with an average total length of 12.27±0.05 cm and average body weight of 22.29±0.54 g. Result of study showed that the electrical-field exposure at 10 volt for all duration treatments in 3 ppt of media salinity did not give significant effect on gonadosomatic index (GSI) and gonadal development of goldfish. Keywords: electrical field, Carassius auratus auratus, gonad, salinity  ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh lama waktu pemaparan medan listrik dengan voltase 10 volt terhadap perkembangan gonad ikan komet Carassius auratus auratus yang dipelihara pada media bersalinitas 3 ppt. Perlakuan pada penelitian ini terdiri atas empat perlakuan, yaitu: perlakuan kontrol, dua, empat, dan enam menit. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap dengan empat perlakuan dan tiga ulangan. Ikan uji yang digunakan adalah ikan komet betina. Jumlah ikan yang digunakan adalah 4 ekor/akuarium dengan panjang total rata-rata 12,27±0,05 cm dan bobot tubuh rata-rata 22,29±0,54 g. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian medan listrik sebesar 10 volt dengan lama waktu pemaparan medan listrik pada semua perlakuan durasi di media pemeliharaan bersalinitas 3 ppt tidak memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap parameter indeks gonadosomatik (GSI) dan perkembangan gonad ikan komet. Kata kunci: medan listrik, Carassius auratus auratus, gonad, salinitas

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the influence of brand equity and brand identification variables on the purchasing decisions of Acaraki Generation Z in Jabodetabek. Previous research found a positive influence of brand equity (indicators of awareness, association, brand loyalty, perceived quality, and locality) on purchasing decisions. Previous research did not specifically mention brand names, did not have demographic limitations, and did not include brand evaluation indicators, so the author decided to conduct this research. Data collection uses questionnaires distributed to obtain respondents. The sample obtained was 201 respondents, but using the criteria of Generation Z and being familiar with Acaraki resulted in the selection of 153 respondents who were ready to process the data. The testing technique uses the SPSS 30 application with validity, reliability, and descriptive testing then multiple linear analysis. Brand equity and brand identification variables (indicators of awareness, association, brand loyalty, perceived quality and locality, as well as brand evaluation) have a significant positive influence on the purchasing decision of Acaraki. Academically, this research can provide direction for further research regarding Generation Z's attitudes towards herbal medicine. Practically, it was found that the strength of the Acaraki brand lies in the indicators of brand awareness, perceived quality, brand associations and brand loyalty. So, it can be used for marketing direction for Generation Z.

Abstract

Peptides have been reported as a potential alternative for antidiabetic therapy by inhibiting α-amylase, one of the key enzymes involved in carbohydrate metabolism. This study aimed to identify α-amylase inhibitory peptides derived from trypsin hydrolysate of Caulerpa racemosa protein. The protein was extracted using trichloroacetic acid (TCA)/acetone. The resulting peptides were fractionated using a strong cationic exchanger-solid phase extraction (SCX-SPE) column. The peptide fractions were tested for α-amylase inhibitory activity, and the peptides in the most active fraction were identified using liquid chromatography-high resolution mass spectrometry (LC-HRMS). Seven fractions were obtained from SCX-SPE elution at pH 3 to 9. The fraction eluted at pH 5 exhibited the highest α-amylase inhibitory activity, with an IC50 value of 43.70 µg/mL. Four peptides with the sequences VQKEKR, MNFYCISSK, DLCDYIHNK, and ISICYEK were identified from this fraction. Molecular docking studies revealed that the peptides with sequences MNFYCISSK and VQKEKR had the strongest interactions with α-amylase. The peptide binding affinity energies of MNFYCISSK and VQKEKR were −10.3 and −9.4 kcal/mol, respectively, with RMSD values of 0.3 ± 0.0 and 0.3 ± 0.2 Å. It can be concluded that the peptides with sequences MNFYCISSK and VQKEKR could be proposed as potential antidiabetic peptides with an α-amylase inhibition mechanism.

Abstract

Electric shock activity is an activity of an electric discharge into the water to look for fish using a stun. This activity is a way to sustain the local economy of the challenges existing conditions. Because of some reasons such as easy, effective and efficient this way is still used. Another reason this way is still used is because of economic necessity, small capital, and another effort is difficult to do.Even in preserving the environment, the Local Government who has authority in this case issued a regional regulation. Moving on from these problems, the writer wants to know the important role of the Electric shock activity at RT 01 Mendawai Seberang as the foundation to sustain the local economy as well as its impact, with the problem of the studies are (1) How does the Electric shock activity at RT 01 Mendawai Seberang Pangkalan Bun? (2) How is the role of culture in Electric shock activity on maintaining the local economy at RT 01 Mendawai Seberang Pangkalan Bun? (3)What is the impact of Electric shock activity for ecosystems and humans? This research is using qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects of this research are people who live in RT 01 Mendawai as the fisherman who use stun to look for fish. The object of this research is the culture of Electric shock activity in maintaining the local economy RT 01 Mendawai Seberang Pangkalan Bun. The techniques used in data collection are observation, interview and documentation. In the technical validity of the data, the researcher was used a triangulation process.
