Abstract

The raw material is an essential aspect of ensuring smooth production. The selection of raw material suppliers needs to be done to sustain the company's production and development. Wisarka company is an export-oriented furniture company. It uses water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes) as the primary raw material. The company is required to maintain and improve performance. The company needs to select the right supplier. This study uses the Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) the Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP) method. It was used for selecting suppliers with criteria like price, quality, flexibility, delivery, warranty, and service. The result of the study show FAHP effective in selecting suppliers.

Abstract

Purpose : This research was conducted to identify the risk of being halal that occurs in the production process, calculate the level of halal risk, and provide suggestions for improvements to reduce the risk of the halalness of a production process.Methodology : This study uses the FMEA method which aims to analyze the risk of events that may occur in the production process and the AHP method is used to determine mitigation priorities that can be applied as a proposed improvement in UMKM Dendeng Sapi Asri.Results : The results of risk identification found that there were 19 halal risk and five priority risks, namely raw materials that are not registered with LPPOM MUI, mismatches of raw materials received, because animal dung falls from above during drying of meat, the production process has not used work SOPs for each stage of the process. halal, and the shipping process that is potentially contaminated with unclean.Applications/Originality/Value : At the end of the study, suggestions for improvement were given to reduce the risk of halalness, namely overseeing the implementation of work SOP for employees, and followed by routine cleaning, implementing work SOP, establishing cooperation, checking products before sending, establishing communication, providing training to workers, and positioning drying tools in an appropriate place.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan model persediaan yang mempertimbangkan waktu kadaluarsa bahan dan faktor incremental discount untuk mendapatkan biaya total (total cost) persediaan yang minimum. Model persediaan Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) Single Item digunakan sebagai dasar pengembangan model. Algoritma pencarian solusi model dibuat untuk mendapatkan solusi dari model. Selain itu pada bagian akhir diberikan studi kasus implementasi model di PT. XYZ.

Abstract

Seiring dengan banyaknya Perguruan Tinggi di Indonesia, maka suatu lembaga pendidikan dalam hal ini Jurusan Teknik Industri FT-UMS harus dapat meningkatkan kualitas atau kualitas akademik sesuai dengan perkembangan dan kemajuan ilmu saat sekarang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi dan menentukan prioritas proses belajar mengajar yang harus ditingkatkan, mengetahui keinginan mahasiswa terhadap proses belajar mengajar, serta untuk memberi informasi dan masukan bagi pihak Jurusan Teknik Industri FT-UMS untuk perbaikan kualitas proses belajar mengajar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Metode Focused Quality yang merupakan suatu alternatif metode yang dapat digunakan untuk merespon atau mengetahui keinginan konsumen.

Abstract

Value added is an indicator of the economic strength of a business. There are several ways to increase added value, namely by processing into new products, preserving, making attractive packaging, and improving the quality of a product. Most of the yield of purple cassava in the Karangnyar area is still sold in the form of raw products and has not been much processed, so the added value is still low. This study identified various processed cassava products, analyzed the added value of processed products, analyzed the added value of purple cassava supply chain and proposed the development of purple cassava. The method used to calculate the added value is the Hayami method. The results of the study showed that there were three alternatives of processed products of purple color namely bakpia, thymus and wingko. The biggest added value of processed products is wingko with an added value of Rp. 26,561 and a ratio of 64%. The highest value supply chain added is UMKM Murakabi network with an added value of Rp. 19,152 and a ratio of 70%, while the network with added value the lowest is a retailer network with an added value of Rp 6,257 and a ratio of 28%. These results indicate that the development of purple cassava business should be done by processing purple cassava in the form of wingko.

Abstract

Arti penting dari pendidikan telah disadari oleh kalangan masyarakat dari berbagai lapisan, oleh karena itu mutu pelayanan dan kualitas sekolah merupakan masalah yang harus diperhatikan. SMU Islam YMI harus menciptakan, mengembangkan dan meningkatkan kualitas pelayanannya, dalam bentuk atribut atau karakteristik yang sesuai dengan keinginan atau kebutuhan siswa. Sehingga mampu bersaing dengan SMU-SMU lain. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui mutu pelayanan dan prioritas upaya peningkatan kinerja di SMU Islam YMI sesuai dengan keinginan siswa berdasarkan metode Quality Function Deployment (QFD). Dalam penelitian ini disusun atribut-atribut yang menjadi prioritas untuk diperhatikan dan dikembangkan, dan juga evaluasi pembanding dari mutu pelayanan SMU Islam YMI dengan SMUN 1 Kedungwuni.

Abstract

Seiring dengan berkembanganya suatu perusahaan sejenis, maka persaingan perusahaan tidak dapat dihindari lagi. Untuk menghadapi persaingan tersebut, sebuah perusahaan memerlukan suatu proses pemahaman  terhadap situasi internal perusahaan itu sendiri dan lingkungan eksternal dimana perusahaan akan bersaing. Dari pemahaman tersebut, kemudian perusahaan menentukan arah tentang strategi apa yang harus dilakukan di masa yang akan datang.  Analisis yang sering digunakan dalam dunia industri untuk menyusun strategi yaitu analisis SWOT. Dari hasil analisis SWOT terhadap Bank Syariah, kemudian dilakukan perencanaan strategi  pengembangan Bank syariah. Beberapa strategi yang dapat dilakukan oleh Bank Syariah yaitu : penetrasi pasar, pengembangan produk-produk bank syariah yang kompetitif dan inovatif, peningkatan kualitas pelayanan, peningkatan promosi dan sosialisasi terhadap produk-produk bank syariah secara efektif, peningkatan kerjasama dengan institusi lain, peningkatan jaringan kantor  bank syariah, peningkatan cakupan pasar melalui aliansi strategis, peningkatan kualitas SDM, dan peningkatan efisiensi internal.

Abstract

Research on communications technologies that support by Dijkstra algorithm, as a determinant of the distribution are more effective for the volunteer. The system also equipped by the data inventory and needs of each refugee, so there is no buildup and lack support in their respective refugee camps, as well as appropriate aid, according to the type of the needs of victims. This study is a system which has the purpose of making supplies, disaster relief distribution channel based on the criteria of value chain, and the level of priority areas or disaster, and disaster guide information is up to date. Information systems that are formed based on the Djikstra algorithm, while the technology which is the basis of the system is mobile. The final results will be verified by BNPB and MDMC as well as local government and police disaster area. So the information system that will form the basis for appropriate and relevant to distributed.

Abstract

Tiga Hati Mutiara is a food industry located in Sukoharjao, Central Java. One of the activities in the production process is packaging. The posture of the workers in the packing process is to stand and bend over. The position of the worker is very dangerous if it is done repeatedly and continuously. This study aims to identify the posture and ergonomic risks of workers and provide suggestions for improving worker posture. The methods used in this research are the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method and the Ovako Work Posture Analysis System (OWAS) method. The results of the research on the packaging process using the REBA method obtained a score of 8, which means that the level of risk is high and needs immediate improvement, while the OWAS method has a score of 4, which means that this attitude is very dangerous for the musculoskeletal system and needs immediate improvement. Improvements made are to improve the position of workers and dimensions of the table. After the improvement, the REBA score was 2 and OWAS was 1, which means that the proposed posture condition is good.

Abstract

PT Sari Warna Asli V is a yarn spinning manufacturing company. Based on the company's work accident record, in 2019 in the production department there were 19 work accidents and in 2020 as many as 18 work accidents. Total work accidents in 2019 were 14 cases that occurred in Spinning Mills I and 5 cases in Spinning Mills II. Meanwhile, in 2020, 12 cases occurred in Spinning Mills I and 6 cases in Spinning Mills II. The purpose of this research is to identify the potential hazards that exist, assess the risks that may occur at each work station in Spinning Mills I, so that risk control can be given so that the company can avoid any possible harm. The method used is Hazard Identification Risk Assessment Risk Control (HIRARC). Research data collection was obtained from observations at Spinning Mills I, interviews, documentation, and literature studies. The results of the study at 6 work stations on repair and maintenance activities obtained the percentage of potential hazards of 61% (49 risks) are low risk (low risk), 13% (10 risks) are moderate risk (moderate risk), 26% (21 risks) are high risk (high risk), and there are not potential work hazards with very high category (extreme risk). Risks included in the high risk category are falling from above when clearing blockages, broken hands/fingers exposed to rotating machines, fire, hearing loss, and fatigue. Risk control that can be done by the company includes adding SOPs, safety signs, and safety talk, K3 training to increase worker knowledge, providing PPE that must be used according to standards, installing automatic sensors that can detect approaching hands, providing safe distance limits/floor markings. production and routine cleaning.
