Abstract

This research discusses the relevance of the dimensions of Sustainable Economic Development (SDGs) in the perspective of Ibn Khaldun's economic thought. The background of this research is the need for an in-depth study of the relationship between classical thinking in Islamic economics and sustainable economic development targets represented by the SDGs so as to provide social and economic welfare for the community. The research method used is a literature study, which involves reviewing literature from books, journal articles, and relevant documents, and using a descriptive analysis approach to Ibn Khaldun's economic thought and its relationship to the pillars of economic development of the SDGs. With the aim of assessing the extent to which the economic concepts proposed by Ibn Khaldun, such as national wealth, economic equilibrium, wage theory, national trade, taxes, and market mechanisms, are relevant to the achievement of the SDGs. The results show that Ibn Khaldun's economic thought is very relevant to several key aspects of the SDGs, such as equitable distribution of wealth, sustainable management of natural resources, and the role of the state in maintaining economic justice and social welfare. Ibn Khaldun's concepts provide the basis for inclusive and sustainable economic development in accordance with the goals of the SDGs, especially in creating decent jobs, reducing inequality, and ensuring balance in the market mechanism.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the role of the Sharia Bank Indonesia Certificate (SBIS) in controlling the liquidity of Sharia banking in Indonesia. The research method employed is qualitative with a literature review approach, sourcing data from various relevant references. The primary focus of this study is on the liquidity management of Sharia banking, utilizing data from national journals indexed by Google Scholar and Sinta. The findings indicate that SBIS plays a crucial role in the liquidity risk management of Sharia banking operations. Sharia banks invest their funds in SBIS to mitigate liquidity challenges, leveraging this instrument to avoid potential financial strain. The study demonstrates that SBIS can significantly enhance the stability and resilience of the Sharia banking sector. This is particularly evident when SBIS is integrated into a bank’s overall liquidity risk management strategy, complemented by efficient monitoring and evaluation mechanisms. Consequently, SBIS is established as a vital instrument for Sharia banks to maintain liquidity equilibrium, ensuring more stable and sustainable banking operations. The study underscores the importance of SBIS in reinforcing the financial health of Sharia banks, advocating for its strategic incorporation to bolster overall banking stability

Abstract

this research aims to develop sociopreneurship-based zakat funds in rural poor communities through mentoring to achieve welfare. So far, many allocations of zakat funds have not developed and have no change for the poor. The research method used is qualitative with the Asset Basic Community Development (ABCD) approach. The mentoring method is carried out with a transformative and participatory approach. The mentoring team is only a facilitator to accelerate the community towards a more prosperous economic condition. The results found that the practice of zakat-based sociopreneurship was implemented with two schemes, namely: First, microfinance programme in the form of providing business capital for mustahik micro business actors. Second, business facilities assistance programme in the form of production facilities such as machinery or livestock needed by mustahik. Assistance in building the sustainability of the sociopreneurship programme is carried out through five steps: (1). Focus group discussion (FGD), (2) Stakeholder involvement (3). Training. (4). Measurement of the effectiveness of sociopreneurship.

Abstract

Abstract: In 2015, the ministry of marine and fishery issued the prohibition of certain fishing technique. The prohibition to use trawls and siene nets in sea fishery by the minister of marine and fishery has resulted in pros and cons. This ban, which is based on the Regulation of minister of marine and fishery No. 2/2015 has caused discontent among local fishermen, for instance in Palang, tuban, East Java. They temporarily stopped the operation which in turn causes economic repercussions, such as unemployment and reduction of income. This economic downturn causes social issues as well, such as domestic quarrels, divorce, and crimes. This happens to the fishermen and the ship owners as well. From Islamic perspective, the ban has greater good for protecting the marine resources from harmful fishing techniques so that the nature will be preserved and sea ecosystem is maintained. However, the ban has harmed economic wellbeing and social stability. It is contradictory to the purpose of Islamic economy to create prosperity for human being. Therefore, this ban leads to creation of harm which is can be considered a threat to religion, life, reason, family and economy. Keywords: Regulation of minister of marine and fishery No. 2/2015, Islamic Economic Law  Abstrak: Disahkannya PERMEN-KP/2/2015 tentang larangan penggunaan alat penangkapan ikan pukat hela (trawls) dan pukat tarik (seine nets) di wilayah pengelolaan perikanan negara Republik Indonesia menuai pro dan kontra. Abstract

Abstract

Abstract: Islamic economics, as an integral part of Islamic teachings, has a firm view on the issue of wealth in general, including money in particular. Within this framework, Islamic economics has a unique perspective on money, explaining the types and functions of money, as well as setting parameters that guide Muslims on permissible and impermissible actions in financial matters. The uniqueness of Imam Al Ghazali's views on economic aspects, both in general and specifically related to money, is an interesting thing to explore and investigate. This research is a library research with a descriptive approach. That is by describing or explaining Abu Hamid Al-Ghazali's thoughts about money in the perspective of maslahah mursalah. The relevance of Imam al-Ghazali's thoughts on Islamic economics in the book Ihya' 'Ulum al-Din to contemporary (conventional) economics has been able to provide a good solution. Based on Islamic law by implementing the concept of maslahah mursalah, including in managing finances properly, producing goods and services according to community needs and conducting muamalah activities in accordance with existing ethics. Islamic economics according to Imam al-Ghazali in its achievement must prioritize the benefit of society. Economic goals should not only be concerned with one side of life alone, but must be balanced between the world and the hereafter

This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques that include literature studies, documentation, interviews, and observations. The data were analyzed systematically through the stages of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing to understand the strategies and impacts of Islamic Pawnshop Management on financial inclusion. The findings indicate that the management of Pegadaian Syariah, which applies the principles of good corporate governance and the values of maqashid shariah, has successfully improved public financial access in a fair, transparent, and sustainable manner. Digital innovation has proven to expand service reach to rural areas and enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
