Abstract

Pengembangan kreativitas dan keaktifan siswa merupakan hal yang harus diperhatikan dalam proses pembelajaran. Hal ini dikarenakan kreativitas merupakan hal yang penting dalam kehidupan manusia. Kreativitaslah yang memungkinkan manusia meningkatkan kualitas hidupnya. Oleh karena itu, sikap dan perilaku kreatif harus dibina untuk menunjang keberhasilan siswa dalam aktivitas belajar.Untuk menggerakkan kreativitas dan keaktifan anak, model pembelajaran sinektik adalah pilihan guru yang baik. Sinektik adalah model pembelajaran yang mempertemukan berbagai macam unsur menggunakan kiasan untuk memperoleh satu pandangan baru, ialah aktifitas metaforis yang terdiri dari analogi langsung (direct analogy), analogi personal (personal analogy), dan konflik kempaan atau compressed conflict. Dengan analogi dapat dijembatani konsep yang diketahui dengan konsep yang belum dikenal.Pada kegiatan penelitian, strategi-strategi konstruktivistik sering kali dipertentangkan dengan strategi-strategi behavioristik. Model pembelajaran sinektik dalam kelas eksperimen dapat dipertentangkan dengan model pengajaran langsung (direct instructional) dalam kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hal itu, tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk menemukan perbedaan kemampuan apresiasi sastra antara siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran sinektik dengan siswa yang diajar dengan model pengajaran langsung.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes untuk mengukur kemampuan apresiasi prosa fiksi. Analisis data menggunakan Anava dengan program komputer SPSS. Dari analisis inferensial diperoleh simpulan ada perbedaan kemampuan apresiasi sastra secara signifikan antara siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran sinektik dan siswa yang  diajar dengan model pengajaran langsung. Model pembelajaran sinektik lebih efektif dibanding dengan model pengajaran langsung.   Kata Kunci: Komparasi Sinektik, Pengajaran Langsung, Kemampuan Apresiasi Sastra

Abstract

The goals of research were (1) to findings the difference between the students’ appreciation of prose fiction ability taught by experiential learning, synectic, and direct instruction learning model, (2) to findings the difference of prose fiction ability for students who have high and low emotional quotient, (3) to findings an interaction between the use of learning model and emotional quotient affecting prose fiction appreciation.The research applies quasi experimental method and 3 x 2 factorial research design. The technique of collecting data made use questionnaires for measuring students’ emotional quotient and test for measuring the prose fiction ability. Validity test consists of content validity, surface validity, and empirical test for searching distinction value, the grade of exercise difficulties, and the reliability. For the questionnaires, empirical wasapplied to recognize the validity and reliability.The normality test used the method of Kolmogrov-Smirnov. The homogenitytest used the method of Levene’s test of equality of error variances. Data analysis uses Anava factor two by SPSS computer program. The inferential analysis revealedthe conclusion as follows: (1) There is a difference in those students who have been taught by experiential learning, synectic, and behavioristic learning model. The students’ average ability in appreciating prose fiction taught by experiential learning model is higher than those taught by synectic learning model. The students’ ability of prose fiction appreciation taught by synectic learning model is higher than those taught by behavioristic learning model. (2) There is a significant difference in students’ ability in appreciating prose fiction. The students who have high emotional quotient are able to appreciate prose fiction better than those who have low emotional quotient. The ability of prose fiction appreciation belongs to high emotional quotient students is higher than those who have less.  (3) There is an interaction between the use of learning model and emotional quotient in affecting students’ appreciation of prose fiction ability. Kata Kunci: Komparasi Experiential Learning, Sinektik, Pengajaran Langsung, Kecerdasan Emosional, dan Kemampuan Apresiasi Prosa Fiksi

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan mutu aktivitas pembelajaran serta kemampuan menulis cerita pendek dengan metode discovery learning menggunakan media audio visual pada siswa Kelas 5 SDN Bangunrejo Lor 3 Ngawi. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan penelitian tindakan emansipatoris dan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas 5 SDN Bangunrejo Lor 3 Ngawi sebanyak 8 siswa. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik observasi dan tes menulis cerita pendek. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif model Miles & Huberman. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa (1) Aktivitas pembelajaran menulis cerita pendek dapat ditingkatkan dengan penerapan metode discovery learning menggunakan media audio visual pada siswa Kelas 5 SDN Bangunrejo Lor 3 Ngawi. (2) Kemampuan menulis cerita pendek dapat ditingkatkan dengan penerapan dengan metode discovery learning menggunakan media audio visual pada siswa Kelas 5 SDN Bangunrejo Lor 3 Ngawi.This research aims to analyze improving the quality of learning activities and the ability to write short stories using the discovery learning method using audio-visual media in Class 5 students at SDN Bangunrejo Lor 3 Ngawi. The research method uses an emancipatory action research approach and a type of classroom action research. The data source used was 8 grade 5 students at SDN Bangunrejo Lor 3 Ngawi. Data collection in this research was carried out using observation techniques and short story writing tests. The data analysis technique in this research is the Miles & Huberman qualitative descriptive model. The research results found that (1) The learning activity of writing short stories can be improved by applying the discovery learning method using audio-visual media for Class 5 students at SDN Bangunrejo Lor 3 Ngawi. (2) The ability to write short stories can be improved by applying the discovery learning method using audio-visual media to Class 5 students at SDN Bangunrejo Lor 3 Ngawi.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe the improvement of short story writing skills with the application of suggestopedia method and song media in class XI SMA Negeri 1 Geger, (2) describe the improvement of students' activities in class XI SMA Negeri 1 Geger. This type of research is a Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. Data collection techniques used test and non-test techniques. Data analysis techniques used qualitative and quantitative. Both techniques were analysed by comparing the test results of cycle I and cycle II. The results showed that in cycle I the average score achieved by students of class XI.3 was 69.3 or included in the sufficient category. While in cycle II the average score achieved was 79.4 and included in the good category. There was an increase from cycle I to cycle II of 10.1 points or 14.6%. Student activity in learning has increased in a positive direction. Students are active in the learning process from the beginning to reflection. Students are more excited, enthusiastic, and earnest when participating in learning to write short stories. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of the suggestopedia method and song media can improve the short story writing skills of students of class XI SMAN 1 Geger Madiun Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the implementation of teaching and the enhancement of anecdotal text writing activities using the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model and comic strip media. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research, conducted in two stages: Cycle I and Cycle II. Data collection techniques included tests and non-tests. The test technique consisted of the results of anecdotal text writing skills tests, while the non-test technique included student activity data obtained from observations, interviews, and photo documentation. This research employed qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model and comic strip media can improve anecdotal text writing skills. This improvement is evidenced by the average score achieved by students in Cycle I, which was 70.0 (sufficient), while in Cycle II, the average score increased to 81.0 (good). The increase from Cycle I to Cycle II was 10.9 points or 13.5%. Additionally, student activity also showed an improvement in a positive direction. Students were active in the learning process from the beginning to reflection. They were more enthusiastic, motivated, and earnest when participating in learning anecdotal text writing.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) unsur intrinsik novel Surga Yang Tak Dirindukan Karya Asma Nadia; (2) nilai moral novel Surga Yang Tak Dirindukan Karya Asma Nadia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) unsur intrinsik novel Surga Yang Tak Dirindukan karya Asma Nadia meliputi: (a) tema adalah kisah seorang suami yang menikahi perempuan lain tanpa sepengetahuan istri pertamanya dengan tujuan untuk menolong, (b) tokoh utama Pras; memiliki sifat baik, dan pengkhianat; (c) latar novel terdiri dari latar tempat (masjid Al -Ghifari, rumah sakit), latar waktu (sore hari, malam hari), dan latar sosial adalah bahasa: Jawa ngoko dan Cina (d) alur menggunakan alur maju karena peristiwa yang pertama diikuti peristiwa yang kemudian; (e) sudut pandang: campuran, (f) amanat: pesan yang disampaikan. (2) Nilai moral novel Surga Yang Tak Dirindukan Karya Asma Nadia mencakup empat aspek, yaitu: hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan: shalat, puasa, dan bersyukur; manusia dengan manusia: tolong menolong, setia kawan; manusia dengan diri sendiri: kejujuran, sabar; manusia dengan alam sekitar: manusia menjaga kelestarian alam.The goal of the study is to distinguish two main points: the moral lessons that Asma Nadia's novel "Surga Yang Tak Dirindukan" imparts, and the literature's inherent qualities. Analysing the novel's core aspects reveals themes related to a husband's covert marriage in order to support a different lady, presenting Pras, the protagonist, as having both admirable and dishonest characteristics. In addition, the locations span a variety of places and social contexts, using a mixed narrative perspective and a linear plot progression to deliver a powerful message. Regarding morality, the book highlights the importance of virtues like fidelity in interpersonal relationships and devotion to prayer, fasting, and gratitude; it also promotes the importance of environmental stewardship for the preservation of nature and mutual assistance.

Abstract

This article aims to explain the construction of Lombok's cultural identity in three Indonesian poems. Cultural identity is considered a continuous production. In that approach, identity is a construct. Identity is constructed through language. Language is understood as a sign system. Therefore, the analysis of poetry uses sign analysis and semiotic analysis. In this analysis, signs can only be understood in the context of Lombok culture, in the context of the conceptual map of Indonesian society in Lombok. Signs can only be found in the cultural context of Lombok. The data were gathered from three different Lombok poems. The research result shows that in Perang Gurantang poems, Lombok cultural identity is different from Bali's cultural identity. Moreover, Di Gili Tak Ada yang Mengenal Pagi and Kemidi Rudat poems reveal hybrid cultural identity. Finally, Lombok cultural identity has a multicultural identity that gives respect to the differences between Lombok and Bali cultures. The acceptance of West and Malay-Islam culture forms Lombok cultural identity.

Abstract

This study aims to solve problems regarding students' low writing skills. Through the Project Based Learning learning model, it is hoped that it will be able to improve students' writing skills, especially in the Indonesian subject of review text material. This research is included in the type of Class Action Research (CAR) using the model from Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. The subjects of this study were 35 students of class XI MIPA 3 of SMA Negeri 6 Madiun. The approach in this study uses a qualitative description. Meanwhile, data collection techniques were carried out using test and non-test instruments in the form of observation sheets. Analysis of the data for each cycle showed that in cycle 1 student completeness only reached 11.42% (not yet achieved) then in cycle 2 it increased to 85.71% (has been achieved). In addition, the non-test results showed that the effectiveness of using the Project Based Learning learning model in cycle 1 was 27.5% (poor) and increased in cycle 2 to 90% (very good).

Abstract

This study aims to describe and explain the effect of the Canva-assisted problem-based learning model for education to improve the review writing skills of class XI A4 students of SMA N 3 Taruna Angkasa Madiun-East Java-Indonesia. The method used in this research is a class action research method which consists of 4 components, namely: (1) planning, (2) acting, (3) observing, and (4) ) Reflection (Reflecting). Data collection techniques are carried out utilizing observation, testing, and documentation. While the data analysis technique used is qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Qualitative data analysis pays attention to data selection (data reduction), describes data, and concludes. Furthermore, quantitative data, namely in the form of numbers, which includes student test scores, percentages, and scores, was then analyzed descriptively. The results of this study are: 1) The Problem-Based Learning model assisted by Canva for Education is very effective in improving the ability to write reviews of class XI A4 students of SMA N 3 Taruna Angkasa Madiun. 2) The results of using the Canva-assisted Problem Based Learning learning model for Education show significant results. After taking action the percentage of completeness of students which initially was only 33.33% or only 10 students who completed during the pre-cycle, increased in cycle I with a percentage of 50% or as many as 15 students completed, and increased again in cycle II with a percentage of 83.16%. or as many as 24 students complete. This indicates a significant increase from previously only 10 students who completed it to 24 students who completed it.

Abstract

The research is motivated by the existence of teachers who still do not use technology in learning, as evidenced by research that has been conducted by several studies. The purpose of this study is to describe artificial intelligence in learning Language and Science in elementary schools in terms of teacher perceptions and Solutions. This research is a qualitative study with a case study type. The subjects of the study were elementary school teachers in Madiun district. The research location is in Madiun district, East Java. The number of respondents was 108 teachers who had filled out the questionnaire. Data was collected using data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires, observations, and interviews. The instruments used were questionnaire sheets, observation sheets, and open questions. Indicators in the study were the use of artificial intelligence, design, and types. Data analysis was carried out starting from data reduction. The results of the study showed that the perception of teachers in using artificial intelligence was 84 people who had used artificial intelligence. Teachers use artificial intelligence to get information, copy, and update in teaching. The type of artificial intelligence most widely used by Canva teachers was 96 people, while other types used were Powtoon, sway, and Google Classroom. The solution can be done by improving digital competence, improving the quality of education providing training in small groups, and continuing with the simplest artificial intelligence practice. Mentoring and evaluation of workshop results need to be done so that the continuation of the training program can be known.
