Abstract

The main problem of this research is the low level of maternal care in the family. This is probably caused by the limited frequencies of the maternal participation in the parenting training programs. In response to this phenomenon required an effort to empower the mother by giving them the knowledge and skills necessary to implement good parenting. Women empowerment program implemented through training. In this study will be implemented the parenting training model based on spiritual intelligence, which is alleged to be effective for improving mother’s behavior in family child care. The theoretical foundation of this research is the concept of parenting training model, adult education concept, the child family care, the spiritual intelligence concept, and the concept of early childhood education.The method that used in this study was a quasi-experimental. The design is the design (pretest -posttest) a group (the one group pretest-posttest design). Groups of subjects were mothers of young children in early childhood Almourky Gorontalo district, amounting to 30 people. The techniques of data collection were using tests, interviews, questionnaires, observation, and documentation study. The analysis technique that used to test the hypotheses is the analysis of parametric statistical difference test. This test will look at different groups of mothers before and after the training conducted. The statistical test used the two side t test with correlated samplesThe results of data processing show that the parenting training model based on spiritual intelligence was effective for improving mother’s behavior in family child care. This is evidenced by the results of testing the hypothesis that there is a significant difference both to aspects of knowledge, skills, attitudes and mothers behavior in family child care before and after the training.The findings of this research show that the parenting training model based on spiritual intelligence effectively helped to improve the knowledge, skills and attitudes of mothers, hence of impact on improving maternal childcare in the family.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang menjadi fokus penelitian ini adalah rendahnya prestasi belajar siswa SDN 03 limboto Barat. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN 03 Limboto Barat dengan tujuan  untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemandirian belajar siswa terhadap prestasi belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket dan studi dokumen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan ialah analisis regresi dan korelasi. Anggota populasi pada penelitian ini berjumlah 130 orang, sampel yang digunakan diambil dari populasi tersebut dengan menggunakan teknik Proportionate Sratified Random Sampling yaitu 34 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh  bentuk persamaan regresi linier sederhana Ŷ = 34,96 + 0,58X sehingga dapat disimpulkan variabel X (Kemandirian Belajar) diikuti variabel Y (Prestasi belajar siswa). Kemudian dari hasil perhitungan koefisien korelasi diperoleh r= 0,852 dengan koefisien determinasi r2= 0,7259. Uji signifikan koefisien korelasi memperoleh hasil perhitungan diperoleh harga t hitung sebesar = 9,22 sedangkan dari daftar distribusi t pada taraf 5% diproleh t daftar = 1,69. Ternyata harga t hitung lebih besar dari t daftar, atau harga t hitung berada di luar daerah penerimaan Ho. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ho ditolak dan menerima Ha, dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara kemandirian belajar dengan prestasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

Waste processing in Bulota Village, Talaga Jaya District is very necessary considering the limited infrastructure and waste processing facilities in the surrounding area, which are unable to contain existing waste processing. This demonstrates the paucity of garbage processing facilities and residents' lack of waste sorting knowledge (organic and inorganic). The impact is that a lot of paper and plastic waste accumulates into useless waste. One of the waste management models is the 3R system, namely Reuse, Reduce and Recycle. Waste will have various negative and very large impacts if the handling is not carried out carefully and seriously. This results in changes in the environmental balance that are detrimental to the community. The results of observations carried out by the service team from the State University of Gorontalo in the field show that most of the total The head of the family and surrounding villagers in Bulota Village have not been able to separate waste (organic and inorganic) due to limited public knowledge and level of understanding of waste accumulation.

Abstract

 In Gorontalo Province, the role of Supervisors of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) is not as optimal as has been expected. We stated this based on the results of interviews done by researchers to the PAUD managers and tutors, which few supervisors have obstacles in guiding tutors to manage to learn and in guiding principals to manage early childhood institutions. The problem mightcause by the improper recruitment of supervisors which was not involving the standardization, qualification, and competence of the supervisors. Consequently, it is necessary to improve the competence of PAUD supervisors by, one of them, education and training. Hence, In and On Service Training model based on andragogy presented here.The initial stage to develop this model is to provide the conceptual model. Therefore, the purpose of this early stage of research is to build the conceptual model of in and On service training based on Andragogy and its tools toimprove the competence of PAUD supervisors.The method used in this research is development research, includes: (i) theoretical and regulatory study of supervisory, no formal education, and also education and training, (ii) surveys and identification of supervisor competency profiles, (iii) construction of conceptual model by workshops, and (iv ) Model validation.The result of the model consists of (i) design of training models, tools, guides, and assessment instruments, (ii) teaching materials, (iii) supervisory evaluation tools, (iv) academic supervision tools, and (v) managerial, supervisory material.

Abstract

Fokus masalah adalah: (1) Peran guru dalam manajemen kelas; (2) Tingkah laku dalam kelas; (3) Penyelesaian masalah dalam manajemen kelas dan (4) Kerjasama orang tua dan guru dalam mengendalikan tingkah laku siswa di kelas. Tujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Peran guru dalam manajemen kelas; (2) Tingkah laku dalam kelas; dan (3) Penyelesaian masalah dalam manajemen kelas; (4) Kerjasama orang tua dan guru dalam mengendalikan tingkah laku siswa di kelas. Jenis penelitian ini penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus yang dilakukan di kelas IV SDN 20 Dungingi. Berdsarkan hasil dan pembahasan penelitian dapat disimpulkan yang dilakukan di SDN 20 Dungingi, bahwa pengendalian tingkah laku siswa dapat diatasi dengan berbagai cara antara lain: (a) Guru sebagai motivator dan pemberi nasehat, sebagai pembimbingan, melalui penjadwalan piket, pemberian hukuman yang mendidik, serta penguasaan materi terhadap siswa; (b) Pendekatan yang sering guru gunakan di kelas yaitu pendekatan oteriter, pengajaraan, pengubahaan tingkah laku, sosio-emosional, kerja kelompok, elektis atau pluralistik, maupun teknologi informasi; (c) Kerja sama antara guru dan orang tua. Dalam hal ini guru lebih menekankan pada potensi siswa serta cara bertingkah laku yang baik, serta menerapkan kreatifitas dan inisiatif guru dalam pembelajaran

Abstract

Masalah bullying di sekolah telah menjadi masalah serius dan mendapat perhatian khusus.  Salah satu pihak yang dilibatkan dalam pencegahan dan penanggulangan perilaku bullyng di sekolah adalah orang tua siswa. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji faktor-faktor penyebab perilaku bullying dan upaya yang dapat dilakukan orang tua dalam pencegahan dan penanganannya. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk kegiatan sosialisasi kepada orang tua siswa di SDN 21 Paguyaman. Pada kegiatan ini, dilakukan juga penelitian bersifat deskriptif berupa survei. Populasi adalah seluruh orang tua siswa SDN 21 Paguyaman dan pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik sampel jenuh. Sampel adalah seluruh orang tua yang hadir, berjumlah 57 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuisioner. Terdapat beberapa faktor penyebab terjadinya bullying yaitu faktor eksternal dan internal. Faktor internal adalah faktor yang berasal dari anak itu sendiri dan faktor eksternal meliputi keluarga, sekolah serta teman sebaya. Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan orang tua dapat mengambil bagian dari upaya pencegahan terjadinya perilaku bullying di sekolah.

Abstract

Evaluation of the government's internal quality control system (SPIP) in the implementation of good governance at the Gorontalo district regent's office. In order to realize quality internal control of government quality, an evaluation of the implementation and internal quality is carried out through research. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative evaluation of the research sample totaling 31 regional employees. Data collection techniques are questionnaires, observations and documents. The data in the study were analyzed by the percentage formula (%). The research results show that. (1). Evaluation of the government's internal quality control system (SPIP) in the implementation of good governance with control environment indicators is in the less effective category with a percentage of 69,93%. (2). Evaluation of the government's internal quality control system (SPIP) in the implementation of good governance with risk assessment indicators is in the less effective category with a percentage of 68.01% (3). Evaluation of the government's internal quality control system (SPIP) in the implementation of good governance with indicators of control activities in the effective category with a percentage of 70.48%. (4). Evaluation of the government's internal quality control system (SPIP) in the implementation of good governance with indicators of information and communication is in the effective category with a percentage of 74.19%, (5). evaluation of the government's internal quality control system (SPIP) in the implementation of good governance with indicators of monitoring and internal control is in the less effective category with a percentage of 68.81%.
