Abstract

Abstrak – Telah dilakukan penelitian terkait simulasi kuantum untuk pemecahan molekul air (H2O) pada permukaan PtMo(111) berbasis Density Functional Theory (DFT).  Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui jalur reaksi yang paling efektif dalam proses pemecahan H2O dan mekanisme reaksinya.  Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa jalur yang paling mungkin  untuk pemecahan H2Oads menjadi Hads dan OHads adalah pergerakan H dari posisi H2O di top Mo2 ke situs HCP Pt41-Mo2-Pt42, dilanjutkan ke situs FCC Pt42-Mo2-Pt46, kemudian ke situs bridge Pt42-Pt46, terus ke situs HCP Pt42-Pt43-Pt46, dan berakhir di situs FCC Pt38-Pt42-Pt43. Posisi OHads berada di top Mo2. Adapun energi aktivasi yang diperlukan untuk memecah H2O sebesar 0,68 eV.  Selanjutnya, mekanisme reaksi pemecahan H2O dibahas dengan analisis struktur geometri dari adsorpsi H2O di situs yang bersesuaian dengan jalannya reaksi. Kata kunci: pemecahan H2O, DFT, PtMo(111), energi aktivasi, mekanisme reaksiAbstract – Quantum simulation studies for the decomposition of water molecules (H2O) on the surface of PtMo (111) based on the density functional theory (DFT) were performed.  This study was conducted to determine the most preferred pathways of the H2O dissociation process and its reaction mechanism.  The calculation results show that the most preferential pathway to decompose H2Oads into Hads and OHads is the movement of H from the original position of adsorbed H2O atop Mo2 to the HCP Pt41-Mo2-Pt42 site, then to the FCC Pt42-Mo2-Pt46 and then to the bridge site of neighboring Pt42-Pt46 atoms followed by HCP Pt42-Pt43-Pt46 site and terminate at the FCC Pt38-Pt42-Pt43 site.  The position of OHads remains on top of Mo2.  The activation energy required to break H2O is 0.68 eV.  In addition, the reaction mechanism for H2O dissociation is discussed by analyzing the adsorption geometriy corresponding to the each sites of reaction paths. Abstract

Influences of concentration of BaCO3 on crystallinities and susceptibilities of barium ferrites using isotropic powder metallurgy method of fabrication is studied based on the characterization of X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), crystallite size distributions and hysteresis curve of Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM).  In this study, Fe2O3 of Cilacap iron sands are doped with BaCO3 with various concentrations of 15%, 30% and 45% at 1100 °C of sintering temperature.  The results show that the addition of BaCO3 affects the formation of the multi-phase barium ferrite crystals and widen the crystallite size distribution, as well as lowering the saturations and the magnetic remanences. The optimum composition for barium ferrite magnets is obtained for 15% of BaCO3, with the highest mass susceptibility of 2.4 × 10-6 M3/Kg. Abstract

Ferrite magnet or ceramic magnet is a competitive product in the magnet market due to low price, corrosion resistant and chemically stable. Barium hexa-ferrite magnet is one of ferrite magnet which is mostly used as magnetic storage and electronic devices based on nanotechnology. Barium hexa- ferrites are synthetized through solid state reaction method at sintering temperatures of 1100 °C with the composition (100-x)Fe2O3 : xBaCO3 , where x = 0 and 20 in mol % . Results of XRD characterization show that the diffraction peaks of XRD spectrum is dominated by the peaks of barium ferrite crystal with a hexagonal crystal system. Magnetic properties of Fe2O3 material doped with barium carbonate of 20 mol % and sintered at 1100 °C increase significantly compared to the others. This simple and inexpensive method is very promising for the manufacture of barium hexa-ferrite materials with natural ferrite as the main material.Keywords: Iron sand, barium ferrite, structure, magnetic properties

Abstract

Analytical calculation of Rashba spin-splitting on the GaAs-based quantum dots in the twodimensionalparabolic confinement. It has been investigated the spin splitting due to the Zeeman effectand a Rashba-type spin-orbit coupling on a disk-like GaAs-based quantum dot. Calculations weredone analytically considering the influence of an external magnetic field applied perpendicularly tothe dot. The result shows that spin-orbit interaction causes a “crossing” on the electron energy statesin the dot with the same angular momentum and different spin polarizations in a nonzero magneticfield. The calculated magnitudes of spin splitting and magnetic fields at the crossing level can be usedto discuss more realistic quantum dots model theoretically on the further research.Keywords: Rashba spin-orbit coupling, GaAs-based quantum dots, crossing levels

Abstract

This paper will review atomic-like phenomena in a semiconductor quantum dot which their size, shape and interactions can be precisely controlled through the use of nanofabrication technology. It has been shown that by confining electrons in three dimensions inside semiconductors, quantum dots can show many of the phenomena observed in atoms and nuclei and so called artificial atom. Because of its controlable system, it is possible to explore the correlation effects in regimes that cannot otherwise be accessed in other physical systems. For simplicity, this work will focus on a circular-shape single electron quantum dot trapped by polar two-dimensional harmonic potential in the presence of an external magnetic field. Both Zeeman splitting and spin orbit interaction are neglected in our calculation. The calculation show that Fock-Darwin spectrum will enter Landau regime, where when cyclotron frequency is much larger than potential confinement .

Abstract

Telah dilakukan studi mengenai potensi peningkatan pemberdayaan kewirausahaan sosial melalui inovasi teknologi dalam produk kerajinan kayu berupa sepeda keseimbangan, yaitu alat berlatih motorik anak, melalui kerjasama dengan sasaran pengguna.  Studi ini merupakan salah satu rangkaian kegiatan dari upaya membagikan ilmu dan teknologi kepada masyarakat untuk meningkatkan nilai ekonomis suatu bahan.  Lebih lanjut, pekerjaan ini diharapkan memberikan andil pemikiran untuk solusi penyaluran produk melalui konsep kewirausahaan sosial, yaitu manajemen pemasaran berbasis kerjasama dengan masyarakat sekitar.  Metode yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut adalah dengan terjun secara langsung ke masyarakat produsen dengan memberikan pelatihan dan sosialisasi kepada calon pengguna produk.  Setelah itu, studi kemungkinan mengenai keberlanjutan program kewirausahaan sosial ini dilakukan dengan observasi langsung dan in depth interview.  Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya tingkat kemungkinan yang tinggi akan keberhasilan program kerjasama antara masyarakat produsen dan pengguna.  Selanjutnya, evaluasi kualitas produk dari produsen menunjukkan bahwa saat ini masih diperlukan depth coaching yang lebih supaya dapat menembus pangsa pasar yang lebih tinggi. DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/abdimas.v3i2.2386

Abstract

Electrical conductivity of groundwater have been measured in area about the final garbage dismissal place (TPA) of Gunung Tugel, Regency of Banyumas. Groundwater samples have been taken away from 104 point of groundwater sources which distributed around of the research area, consisted of well water, belik water and pump water. Then, water samples are tested in Electronics and Instrumentation laboratory, Faculty of Science and Technique, UNSOED use the Wheatstone bridge principle. Electrical conductivity of groundwater obtained, then mapped pursuant to position of samples points location, so that obtained map of electrical conductivity contour of groundwater in research area. Pursuant to the electrical conductivity contour map, known that the mean electrical conductivity value in research area is 0,0594 kW-1, where highest electrical conductivity value is 0,1449 kW-1 and lowest electrical conductivity value is 0,0209 kW-1. Pursuant to interpretation known that most liquid waste (leacheat) of TPA Gunung Tugel are indicated flow into south and south-west area (Village of Kedungrandu) owning lower topography.

Abstract

We report the different way to explain the nature of water molecule (H2O) adsorption on the platinum (Pt) surfaces with low Miller index, i.e., (100), (110) and (111). Here, we perform periodic density functional theory (DFT) calculations to analyze the correlation between water-surface bonding strength and the observed charge transfer occurring in the systems. The results show that Pt-H2O interaction strength at the most stable adsorption sites, i.e., the atop site for each surfaces, follows the order of H2O/Pt(110) > H2O/Pt(100) > H2O/Pt(111). This order has the same pattern with the order of observed charge transfer contributed to the bonding formation. The differences in adsorption geometrical structures in these three surfaces are suggested to responsible for the order of bond strength since Coulomb interaction plays dominant roles in our electrostatic model. Furthermore, H2O-Pt interaction mechanism, which occurs through water 3a1 orbital releasing electron density (charge) followed by Pt-O bonding formation, is clarified.

Abstract

This paper reports the improved microwave (MW) absorption characteristics of some newly prepared bio-silica-barium-ferrite composites (SBFCs) of the form (x)Bio-SiO2:(80-x)Fe2O3:(20) BaO (where x = 0, 2, and 4 wt.%). These composites were prepared using the modified solid-state reaction method with simultaneous sintering at 800 and 1100 °C. SBFCs were studied to determine the impact of various bio-silica concentrations on their morphology, structure, magnetic properties, permittivity, permeability, and X-band reflection loss. Various SBFC thicknesses were simulated to determine the reflection loss curves. It has been established that the MW absorption capacity of the examined SBFCs may be altered by adjusting the bio-silica concentration and sample thickness.

Abstract

Abstrak - Era digital sebagai teknologi pengolahan aset/potensi desa sangat diperlukan dalam bentuk pengolahan manajemen berbasis digital dan database atau big data. Manajemen berbasis digital dalam bentuk sistem informasi terpadu untuk mendukung program Kemendes PDTT tentnag program SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) nasional di bidang pengembangan perekonomian dan pengentasan kemiskinan masa New Normal. Program tersebut mendukung 6 pilar program smart village, salah satu desa yang memerlukan pendampingan dalam pengembangan potensi unggulan desa seperti sistem administrasi desa digital, potensi ekonomi produk lokal, manajemen kesehatan lingkungan, dan potensi pariwisata adalah Desa Winduaji Potensi pendukung Desa Winduaji terlatak pada lokasi yang strategis dilewati jalan nasional Tegal-Purwokerto. Potensi tersebut diantaranya potensi wilayah wisata alam mata air dan Waduk Penjalin dan perkembangan UMKM yang sangat prospektif. Namun potensi tersebut belum termanajemen dengan baik secara digital sehingga masyarakat mengalami kesulitan mengakses informasi yang berkaitan dengan potensi-potensi tersebut. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan solusi dengan pembuatan sistem informasi terpadu “Si D’Windu App.: Aplikasi Sistem Informasi dan Layanan Digital Desa Berbasis Web dan Android untuk Mendukung 6 Pilar Program Smart Village menuju Desa Winduaji Mandiri.” Aplikasi Si D’Windu App. menghasilkan empat fitur yaitu media informasi, tata kelola administrasi dan surat menyurat desa, tata kelola keungan desa, dan lapak desa. Hasil pelatihan memberikan tanggapan positif dan harapan keberlanjutan dari program digitalisasi desa sebagai transparansi informasi publik menuju Desa Winduaji mandiri.
