Abstract

In this paper, a flywheel generator system as a kinetic energy storage was analysed that consists of both theoretical models (analytical and numerical) and experimental. The analytical model was solved to calculate the kinetic energy stored and the moment of inertia of the flywheel. On the other hand, the numerical model was developed to analyse the stress and the deformation distributions on the flywheel. The experiments were conducted by varying the flywheel mass of 15-18 kg; and the pulley ratio of 1:1, 2:1, 3:1. The numerical simulation confirmed that the stress and the deformation values on the flywheel were under the material ultimate stress. The experimental results suggested that the increase of the flywheel mass also increases the capability of the flywheel to store the kinetic energy. A similar trend also found in the pulley ratio variations where the increase of the pulley ratio enhances the rotational speed of the generator thus increasing its electricity generation.

Abstract

This study investigates a magnetization reversal mechanism based on the hysteresis curve of Barium Hexaferrite (BFO) thin film by micromagnetic simulation through parallel and perpendicular magnetization directions along the axes. The hexagonal shape of the BFO film was modeled with thicknesses of 5, 10, and 15 nm and a diameter size ranging from 50 to 100 nm. It was found that the coercivity field HC and the saturation field HS of the BFO film decreased as thediameter size increased and thickness decreased. It was observed that the nucleation field HN increased as the diametersize increased. An analysis of energies showed that the demagnetization energy was dominantly influenced by the diameter and thickness in comparison to the anisotropic energy. From the hysteresis curve, the switching time was also investigated. Interestingly, the switching time was faster for the thinner BFOs with a diameter under 70 nm. For particles larger than 70 nm in diameter, the switching time showed fluctuation irrespective of the BFO thickness. Based on these results, a diameter size of 70 nm is proposed as the critical size for producing the equal time for switching domain polarity.

Abstract

In this study, we investigated the microstructure and magnetic properties of Zn1-xMnxO and Zn0.98-xMnxFe0.02O (x = 0, 0.05, and 0.09) powders prepared by the solid-state reaction method. The starting material, which consisted of ZnO, Mn, and Fe powders, were wet milled for 3 hours using high-energy milling. We then used an X-ray diffractometer (XRD), scanning electron microscope, and vibrating sample magnetometer to investigate the effects of doping and co-doping on the microstructure, morphology, and magnetic properties, respectively. The XRD results suggest that Mn and Fe ions had substituted into the ZnO matrix, as illustrated by the resulting single-phase polycrystalline hexagonal wurtzite structures. The diffraction intensity was observed to decrease as the Mn composition increased. The analysis showed that the lattice parameters decreased due to Mn2+ and Fe3+ ion substitution in the ZnO matrix. The co-doping of Mn-Fe ions in the ZnO structure enhanced the magnetic properties, particularly due to the Zn0.89Mn0.09Fe0.02O composition. The increase in the Mn dopant and Mn-Fe co-dopant concentrations strongly contributed to the improved morphology and magnetic properties. Therefore, we can conclude that the presence of Mn and Fe co-dopants in the ZnO system contributed to its magnetic properties, as confirmed by high-saturation magnetization.

Abstract

Adequate training facilities and infrastructure are needed to support the athletic training process activities to make it easier for Athletes and Coaches when training, so that from the training process it is hoped that all Athletes will gain a lot of learning experience and be able to train optimally. This research aims to find out the athletic numbers that have the greatest chance of winning in Tulang Bawang district athletics based on the facilities and infrastructure that are available and whether they are PASI standard or not. The research method used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection uses observation, interviews and documentation. The instruments used are interview and documentation instruments. The population in this study were the PASI Tulang Bawang branch administrators in Tulang Bawang Regency. Samples taken from purposive sampling, with criteria; (1) The PASI Tulang Bawang District Administrator who is in Tulang Bawang Regency, (2) is still active as the Tulang Bawang District PASI District Administrator, (3) who is often present or directly involved in the field ((coaches, athletes, referees). From the results of this research, it can be concluded that (1) the Facilities Factor is in the good category, the Infrastructure Factor is categorized as adequate, many of the facilities and infrastructure for athletic sports in Bone Bawang Regency are not yet standardized with PB PASI, there are still many facilities and infrastructure that use modified equipment in the training program , (2) Athletic numbers that can be developed in accordance with the existing Facilities and Infrastructure at PASI Tulang Bawang are javelin throw, discus throw, shot put, long jump and long distance running. In fact, the short distance running and hurdles events can actually be trained in Tulang Bawang, but training will not be optimal after looking at the existing infrastructure, and the management of the facilities and infrastructure of Pengcab PASI Tulang Bawang is not running well.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model in physical education, sports and health (PJOK) subjects at SD Negeri 1 Lanbaw. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects of this research were school principals, PJOK teachers, goods treasurers or facilities and infrastructure supervisors, library managers, grade 5 teachers, grade 4 teachers and female students at SD Negeri 1 Lanbaw. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The main instrument is the researcher who uses observation guidelines and interview guidelines. This research uses the Miles and Huberman model of data analysis which includes three stages. Namely data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research can be concluded that the implementation of the problem based learning (PBL) learning model in the subject (PJOK) has not been implemented well. The various obstacles faced are the lack of facilities and infrastructure and learning media in schools, as well as the students who are still adapting.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on the sustainability of micro, small and medium enterprises. The government responded through the Micro Enterprises Actor Assistance (BPUM) program to increase household consumption so that it can maintain business resilience. This is because the contribution of micro, small and medium enterprises to Indonesia’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) reaches 60.51 percent with the largest contribution from micro-enterprises. This study aimed to evaluate the impact of BPUM program on the consumption of micro-enterprises households in Indonesia using Propensity Score Matching (PSM) analysis based on Susenas Maret 2021 data from BPS. The findings showed that BPUM program in general have not been effective in having an impact on micro-enterprises household consumption. However, the BPUM program is effective in having an impact on the consumption of micro-enterprises households in the very poor category because it is able to increase household per capita expenditure, although it is still unable to get them out of poverty. This study suggests the need for precise targeting of the BPUM program at very poor micro-enterprises households and provided with a larger amount of assistance, in order to get micro-enterprise households out of poverty.Keywords: BPUM, PSM, micro-enterprises, household consumption, povertyAbstrakPandemi Covid-19 berdampak terhadap kelangsungan usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah. Pemerintah merespon melalui program Bantuan Pelaku Usaha Mikro (BPUM) untuk meningkatkan konsumsi rumah tangga sehingga mampu menjaga ketahanan usaha. Hal ini karena kontribusi dari usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah terhadap Pendapatan Domestik Bruto (PDB) Indonesia mencapai 60,51 persen dengan kontribusi terbesar dari usaha mikro. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak program BPUM terhadap konsumsi rumah tangga usaha mikro di Indonesia menggunakan analisis Propensity Score Matching (PSM) berdasarkan data Susenas Maret 2021 dari BPS. Hasil temuan menunjukkan program BPUM secara umum belum efektif memberikan dampak terhadap konsumsi rumah tangga usaha mikro. Akan tetapi program BPUM efektif memberikan dampak terhadap konsumsi rumah tangga usaha mikro pada kategori sangat miskin karena mampu meningkatkan pengeluaran per kapita rumah tangga walaupun masih belum dapat mengeluarkannya dari kemiskinan. Penelitian ini menyarankan perlunya ketepatan penargetan program BPUM pada rumah tangga usaha mikro sangat miskin dan diberikan dengan jumlah bantuan yang lebih besar, agar dapat mengeluarkan rumah tangga pelaku usaha mikro dari kemiskinan.Kata kunci: BPUM, PSM, usaha mikro, konsumsi rumah tangga, kemiskinan

Abstract

This paper reports the improved microwave (MW) absorption characteristics of some newly prepared bio-silica-barium-ferrite composites (SBFCs) of the form (x)Bio-SiO2:(80-x)Fe2O3:(20) BaO (where x = 0, 2, and 4 wt.%). These composites were prepared using the modified solid-state reaction method with simultaneous sintering at 800 and 1100 °C. SBFCs were studied to determine the impact of various bio-silica concentrations on their morphology, structure, magnetic properties, permittivity, permeability, and X-band reflection loss. Various SBFC thicknesses were simulated to determine the reflection loss curves. It has been established that the MW absorption capacity of the examined SBFCs may be altered by adjusting the bio-silica concentration and sample thickness.

Abstract

Tesis ini bertujuan memberikan bukti empiris mengenai pengaruh kompensasi terhadap komitmen personil, pengaruh komitmen terhadap kinerja personil, pengaruh kompensasi terhadap kinerja personil, dan pengaruh kompensasi terhadap kinerja personil dengan komitmen personil sebagai variabel mediasi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode atau pendekatan kausalitas, adalah penelitian yang ingin mencari penjelasan dalam bentuk hubungan sebab-akibat (cause-effect) antara beberapa konsep atau beberapa variabel atau beberapa strategi yang dikembangkan dalam manajemen. Penelitian ini diarahkan untuk menggambarkan adanya hubungan sebab-akibat antara beberapa situasi yang digambarkan dalam variabel, dan atas dasar itu ditariklah sebuah kesimpulan umum. Jenis penelitian ini dipilih mengingat tujuan dari peneliti adalah untuk menjelaskan hubungan dan pengaruh yang terjadi antar variabel sebagai alat pengumpul data primer di mana penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompensasi terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan komitmen pegawai sebagai variabel mediasi (intervening). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh seluruh Personil PendamXVII/Cenderawasih berjumlah 101 personel. Jumlah sampel penelitian ini, diambil sebanyak 100 responden, yaitu seluruh personel yang ada di Pendam XVII/Cenderawasih dengan teknik samplingnya menggunakan total sampling atau sampel jenuh, yang mana seluruh unsur dari populasi dijadikan sebagai sampel. Temuan membuktikan bahwa: 1). Kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen pegawai, 2). Komitmen pegawai berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, 3). Kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, dan 4). Kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai melalui komitmen pegawai sebagai variabel mediasi.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of visualization and practice learning on freestyle swimming speed in children aged 10–13 years at the Ben Swimming Course. The method used is experimental with the sample used was 30 children,. The instrument used was a 25-meter freestyle swimming speed test. The data analysis technique uses tests and measurements, namely t test analysis with α = 0.05, through prerequisite tests, normality tests, and homogeneity tests. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, a conclusion can be drawn that: 1) There is a significant influence of visualization learning and practice on freestyle swimming speed, with a value of tcount = 13.153 > ttable = 2.145. 2) There is no significant effect of the control group on freestyle swimming speed, with a value of t = 1.743 < ttable = 2.145. 3) There is a significant difference between the visualization and practice learning group and the control group regarding freestyle swimming speed, with a value of t = 2,100 > t table = 2,048.

Abstract

Pola tidur yang baik sangat berpengaruh terhadap performa atletik, terutama bagi mahasiswa yang terlibat dalam olahraga secara intensif. Tidur yang cukup memungkinkan tubuh untuk melakukan pemulihan fisik, meningkatkan kinerja, dan mengurangi risiko cedera. Selain itu, tidur juga berperan penting dalam meningkatkan konsentrasi, pengambilan keputusan, dan pengelolaan stres, yang semuanya mempengaruhi kemampuan atlet untuk berprestasi. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kurang tidur dapat menurunkan daya tahan, kekuatan fisik, serta keseimbangan emosional yang dibutuhkan untuk berkompetisi dengan baik. Oleh karena itu, menjaga pola tidur yang sehat dan cukup merupakan faktor penting dalam mendukung performa atletik mahasiswa.
