Abstract

This study aims to determine how big the level of regional income inequality between districts/cities on Lombok Island in 2019–2020. This type of research is quantitative using a descriptive approach. The data used in this study is secondary data sourced from data published by the Central Statistics Agency in the form of (1) per capita income data for each district/city on the island of Lombok (2) population data for each Regency/city on the island of Lombok. Analysis of the data used is using the Williamson index analysis. From the results of data analysis using the Williamson index, it shows that the level of regional income inequality in 2019 was 0.56, while in 2020 it was 0.58.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Empowerment of Small and Medium Enterprises (UKM) at the Office of Industry, Cooperatives and UMKM in Matarm City. The research method used is a qualitative type. Data collection techniques are interviews, observation and documentation. While the data analysis uses the inductive method. The results of this study indicate that empowerment (UKM) at the Office of Industry, Cooperatives and SMEs in Matarm City has not run optimally. Empowerment is carried out in 3 phases, namely: (1) the initial phase of the Mataram City Industry, Cooperative and MSME Office plays a full role in empowering UKM actors. (2) the participatory phase, the community and the government have collaborated in developing SMEs. (3) the emancipatory phase of the Mataram City Office of Industry, Cooperatives and SMEs, only plays a role as a supporter of every activity carried out by SMEs. However, the government is still constrained by the provision of facilities and infrastructure in the development of SMEs. Therefore, the empowerment of SMEs in the city of Mataram should provide adequate facilities and infrastructure, so that the implementation of training or counseling can run optimally and produce output that is in line with expectations.

Abstract

This study entitled “The Role Of Women Farm Laborers In The Family Economy In Merembu Village, Labuapi District, West Lombok Regency’’. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of women farm laborers in the family economy in Merembu Village, Labuapi District, West Lombok Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. This research data was obtained from interviews with female farm laborers in Merembu village. The data collection methods used in this research are observation, interview, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the role of women farm laborers on the family economy in Merembu village is very large, especially in terms of meeting daily needs such as food, children’s education costs, and other household needs. In addition, they can make a big contribution to the family income, although the income is not too large, it has a very positive impact on the family economy. The contribution of women farm laborers’ income to total family income also varies from 40% to 100%. Women farm laborers who contribute up to 100% to the fulfillment of family needs are those who no longer have a husband or whose husband has died.

Abstract

This research is entitled "ANALYSIS OF THE ROLE OF VILLAGE-OWNED BUSINESSES IN SUPPORTING THE ECONOMY OF VILLAGE COMMUNITIES THROUGH WASTE MANAGEMENT" The problem raised in this study is How the Role of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMdes) in an effort to support the economy of village communities through Waste Management. This research explores the role of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in improving the community's economy through waste management in Prai Meke Village, Central Lombok. The program aims to manage local resources and improve social welfare. With the increasing amount of waste, waste management becomes essential to achieve sustainable development, related to health issues, climate change, and poverty reduction. This research uses descriptive qualitative method, the results show that BUMDes contributes positively by creating jobs and supporting the 'Waste Free Village' program initiated to utilize recyclable waste. This research successfully creates jobs, increases community creativity, reduces dependency, and improves environmental health. Thus, BUMDes serves as a local economic driver and facilitator of community empowerment, strengthening self-reliance and social welfare in the village.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the digital marketing strategy used by UMKM actors in Babakan Village in maintaining and increasing their business profits in accordance with the perspective of Islamic Economics. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection methods are Observation, unstructured interviews, Documentation and Case Studies. Data analysis techniques used in this study are data reduction (Data Reduction), data presentation (Data Display), Verification. The results of this study indicate that the digital marketing strategy carried out by UMKM actors in Babakan Village is in the form of marketing through social media. The impact of digital marketing in increasing income is very significant, in addition to other positive impacts, namely the creation of wider marketing channels and increasing popularity, reducing advertising costs. Digital marketing is very helpful for UMKM in running their business. With digital marketing, UMKM can promote their business more easily and quickly reach consumers more widely.
