Abstract

Conventional writing learning is less able to improve students' abilities in developing their ideas because each student has different imaginations and interests. For this reason, in Sakubun learning one of the learning models that can be used to improve critical thinking skills and actively develop creative ideas is the project-based learning model. With a pure experimental method, research was conducted to analyze the differences in the results of the Sakubun learning before using the project-based learning model and after using the project-based learning model. The results of the paired t-test data analysis using SPSS 25, the 2-tailed significance value is 0.010 < 0.05, that there is a significant average difference between the pretest and posttest scores in the experimental class after using the project-based learning model, namely 57 to 74. The results of the essay also look more structured with detailed explanations. This proves that the project-based learning model can help students improve their pocketbook skills, especially in developing ideas.

Abstract

     Onomatopoeia is the designation for sound replicas. The study was intended to describe the characteristics of onomatopoeia and their meanings found in comics. The study focused on onomatopoeia types that showed the sound of inanimate objects, particularly collisions. The thumping group may be grouped into 8, which is 1) blows, shots, and kicks 2) strikes, 3) slaps, 4) slaps, 5) slaps, 6) crashes of objects with hard objects, 7) crashes of objects falling, and 8) objects suddenly collide. Data in this study is the thump taken from the comic kimetsu no yaiba vol 1-3. The theory used in this study is onomatope theory according to Akimoto (2002). Analysis of 51 data shows that there are 7 types of collisions in the comic Kimetsu no Yaiba vol 1-3. Onomatope found in the comic book is primarily 'loud and heavy' and 'sudden occurrences’.

Abstract

Google Forms is a system in the form of form templates that can be used for the purpose of obtaining user information. The purpose of this study was to describe the effectiveness level of using Google Forms in Japanese online exams during the COVID-19 pandemic. The researcher will measure the effectiveness of the online Japanese language exam using quantitative research methods with the results in the form of percentages. The data and data sources used are the results of questionnaires from students and teachers of SMAN 9 Pekanbaru and the results of interviews with Japanese language teachers at SMAN 9 Pekanbaru. The theory used to measure the effectiveness of Google Forms is DeLone and McLean who review information systems from system quality, information quality, and user satisfaction. The results of the research on the effectiveness of Google Forms in the Japanese online exam at SMAN 9 Pekanbaru in terms of system quality are 80% in the effective category, 81% information quality in the effective category, and 79% user satisfaction in the effective category. The average value of all aspects is 80% with the effective category. Google Forms are effective for Japanese online exams at SMAN 9 Pekanbaru during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Based on the results of the explanations that have been presented, it can be concluded that there are differences in learning Katakana letters offline and online at SMKN 7 Pekanbaru. This difference is found in the strategies and learning media used by the teacher. When offline, interactions between teachers and students occur face-to-face. Teachers tend to use discussion strategies and divide students into small groups because they are considered effective for use directly with students. The teacher explains the material directly without having to feel rushed and think about the condition of the network. In online learning, teachers do not use strategies related to performance and small group activities. Teachers are more focused on providing material. When learning offline, the teacher has the flexibility to teach, while when learning online, there is limited time. Time systematic differences were also found between offline learning and online learning. The difference is that offline learning takes longer than online learning. During online learning, the teacher uses PowerPoint Slides which contain learning materials and learning videos. Teachers also use other applications including Google Classroom as a medium for students to collect assignments and ask questions about assignments and Google Meet as a medium for virtual meetings with students. The obstacles that occur in online learning at SMKN 7 Pekanbaru are the instability of the internet network causing the teaching and learning process to be disrupted, teachers' difficulty monitoring students, the difficulty of finding a conducive learning environment for students and there are some students who do not have devices for online learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of technology in the online learning process of Japanese subjects for class XII students of SMKN 7 Pekanbaru and to find out the obstacles experienced during the online learning process of Japanese subjects for class XII students of SMKN 7 Pekanbaru. The subjects in this study were 10 students of class XII of SMKN 7 Pekanbaru, while the object of this research was primary data in the form of interviews and secondary data in the form of documentation. This type of research is qualitative. Data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique is descriptive and qualitative. The results of the study indicate that the use of technology can be a solution to the current pandemic situation and make online learning Japanese more varied through various applications so that students are not bored and understand the material presented faster and the obstacles faced in the online learning process due to signal and signal constraints. students who do not have smartphones in carrying out the learning process remotely.

Abstract

Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengembangkan media pembelajaran alternatif kanji shokyuu berbasis Instagram, (2) mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran alternatif kanji shokyuu berbasis Instagram, dan (3) mengetahui respon kemenarikan pengembangan media pembelajaran alternatif kanji shokyuu berbasis Instagram. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D) yang menggunakan model ADDIE yang dikemukakan oleh Sugiyono dengan 5 tahapan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah berupa media pembelajaran alternatif kanji level shokyuu berbantuan media sosial Instagram yang dibuat menggunakan berbagai aplikasi yang layak dan menarik digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative research method regarding the assessment of Doraemon no Uta as an opening song of Doraemon animation. The purpose of the study is to explain how to objectively assess the translation of Doraemon no Uta song from Doraemon animation and find out how well the translations of the song is based on Newmark's assessment. According to Newmark, the assessment of translation is divided into four criterias, including: 1) translation as a science; 2) translation as a craft; 3) translation as art; and translation as taste. The lyrics of the song Doraemon no Uta in the source language (SL) and target language (TL) are collected in a table, then the score is determined for each criterion. The scores are sum up and the total is divided by the number of lyrics which is assessed. It was found that the translation category for the song Doraemon no Uta’s translation’s score is 79.28, which went to the translation category A (very good).

Abstract

Ijime adalah sebuah fenomena yang terbentuk akibat ditemukannya fenomena seseorang yang mem-bully dan seseorang yang menjadi korban dari ijime tersebut. Di Jepang, ijime menjadi salah satu masalah serius dalam dunia pendidikan sejak tahun 1970-an dan alasan utamanya dilatarbelakangi oleh kenaikan angka persentase bunuh diri anak usia sekolah. Hal ini dapat dilihat pada persentase jumlah kasus ijime yang terjadi pada setiap tahunnya dan juga berdasarkan dari bentuk ijime sekolah yang sering dilaporkan ke media massa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk bunuh diri yang diakibatkan oleh ijime pada anak SMP di Jepang, memaparkan alasan kasus bunuh diri akibat ijime yang banyak terjadi pada anak SMP di Jepang, dan memaparkan penyebab perilaku ijime yang mengakibatkan bunuh diri pada anak SMP di Jepang. Peneliti menggunakan teori strukturisasi yang dikemukakan oleh Anthony Giddens dalam menganalisis tindakan anak yang di-bully atau mendapat perlakuan ijime yang menyebabkan keinginan untuk melakukan tindakan bunuh diri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode kajian pustaka. Dari hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa ijime lebih banyak terjadi pada anak-anak di kalangan SMP, karena masa SMP adalah suatu masa anak-anak mulai menginjak usia remaja dan para korban ijime lebih banyak melakukan tindakan bunuh diri dengan cara menggantung diri dan terjun dari atas atap apartemen. Jenis bunuh diri yang banyak terjadi pada kasus ini adalah bunuh diri anomik dan jenis bunuh diri yang paling sedikit terjadi pada kasus ini adalah bunuh diri egoistik dan bunuh diri anomik, dan para korbannya banyak meninggalkan surat (suicide note) sebelum melakukan bunuh diri. Abstract

Pembelajaran daring adalah salah satu alternatif disarankan selama pandemi agar virus tidak menyebar dengan luas. Berbagai aplikasi dan metode pembelajaran daring dapat dilakukan oleh guru, diantaranya yaitu Schoology. Schoology merupakan salah satu platform inovatif yang dibangun dan dikembangkan berdasarkan inspirasi dari media sosial facebook dengan tujuan untuk kepentingan pendidikan. Platform ini dikembangkan pada tahun 2009 di New York. Schoology membantu guru dalam membuka kesempatan komunikasi yang luas kepada siswa agar siswa dapat  lebih mudah untuk mengambil peran/bagian dalam diskusi dan kerjasama dalam tim. Selain itu, Schoology juga didukung oleh berbagai bentuk media seperti video, audio dan gambar yang dapat menarik minat siswa. Schoology mengarahkan siswa mengaplikasikan berbagai teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan diadakannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apa saja motivasi, kesan yang dialami oleh siswa/i SMA Cendana Pekanbaru pada aplikasi schoology yang menjadi sebuah ikon, dimana seluruh Sekolah Cendana memakai applikasi schoology dari sejak tahun 2018. Pada penelitian ini  yang menjadi responden adalah siswa kelas XII sebanyak 10 orang. Angket yang diberikan terdiri dari 6 pernyataan dengan opsi jawaban sangat setuju, setuju, ragu-ragu, tidak setuju, dan sangat tidak setuju. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif merupakan salah satu dari jenis penelitian yang termasuk dalam jenis penelitian kualitatif. Metode deskriptif merupakan suatu metode dalam meneliti status sekelompok manusia, suatu objek, suatu set kondisi, suatu sistem pemikiran ataupun suatu kelas peristiwa pada masa sekarang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa angketdalam format google form. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan penulis, hendaknya guru menggunakan aplikasi pembelajaran yang lebih bervariasi. Hal ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan semangat dan motivasisiswa dalam belajar serta aplikasi yang tidak sulit di mengerti oleh siswa.
