Abstract

Kesantunan berbahasa dalam proses pembelajaran merupakan hal yang penting untuk diterapkan dalam lingkungan belajar. Kesantunan tidak hanya dilakukan ketika proses pembelajaran dilaksanakan secara tatap muka, teapi juga dapat dilakukan secara daring. Hal ini agar peserta tutur bisa saling menerima dan memahami dari maksud yang disampaikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesantunan berbahasa mahasiswa selama melakukan pembelajaran daring. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini ialah tuturan mahasiswa dan dosen selama dilakukan pembelajaran daring, baik melalui aplikasi zoom, whatsapp, maupun google classroom. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini ialah mahasiswa Universitas Cokroaminoto Palopo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa selama kegiatan pembelajaran daring mahasiswa dapat dikatakan santun dalam berbahasa. Terdapat 5 maksim yang termasuk pada tuturan pematuhan dan hanya maksim penghargaan dan kemufakatan yang terjadi pelanggaran dalam berbahasa.

Abstract

Concentration is one of the things that can affect the learning process. Concentration in learning is generally related to the motivation of students. If the motivation is good, then the correlation with the interest and concentration of students' learning will increase. This research is a correlational research with a quantitative approach. The data in this study were obtained by providing two types of instruments, namely a learning motivation test and a concentration test. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive influence between learning motivation and learning concentration of students of the Japanese Language Education Program at the Universitas Riau in the 2021/2022 academic year of 0.619 with a moderate or adequate category. This shows that the better the student's learning motivation, the better the student's learning concentration will be.

Abstract

Learning media is one of the supporting components that can help a learning process. One of the learning media that can be applied is the application media in learning kanji. The application is called "Poro Learn Japanese Kanji (Poro)". The purpose of this study was to see the effect of applying application media on kanji learning for class of 2019 students of Japanese Language Education, UniversitasRiau. This study used the experimental method. The data for this study were collected by distributing pre-test and post-test questions via Google Form. The results of this study indicate that of the 34 samples, 24 people experienced the effect of increasing value changes in learning kanji after the application of Poro application media. Then 3 people experienced a decrease in value, while the other 7 people did not have any effect.

Abstract

Conventional writing learning is less able to improve students' abilities in developing their ideas because each student has different imaginations and interests. For this reason, in Sakubun learning one of the learning models that can be used to improve critical thinking skills and actively develop creative ideas is the project-based learning model. With a pure experimental method, research was conducted to analyze the differences in the results of the Sakubun learning before using the project-based learning model and after using the project-based learning model. The results of the paired t-test data analysis using SPSS 25, the 2-tailed significance value is 0.010 < 0.05, that there is a significant average difference between the pretest and posttest scores in the experimental class after using the project-based learning model, namely 57 to 74. The results of the essay also look more structured with detailed explanations. This proves that the project-based learning model can help students improve their pocketbook skills, especially in developing ideas.

Abstract

Google Forms is a system in the form of form templates that can be used for the purpose of obtaining user information. The purpose of this study was to describe the effectiveness level of using Google Forms in Japanese online exams during the COVID-19 pandemic. The researcher will measure the effectiveness of the online Japanese language exam using quantitative research methods with the results in the form of percentages. The data and data sources used are the results of questionnaires from students and teachers of SMAN 9 Pekanbaru and the results of interviews with Japanese language teachers at SMAN 9 Pekanbaru. The theory used to measure the effectiveness of Google Forms is DeLone and McLean who review information systems from system quality, information quality, and user satisfaction. The results of the research on the effectiveness of Google Forms in the Japanese online exam at SMAN 9 Pekanbaru in terms of system quality are 80% in the effective category, 81% information quality in the effective category, and 79% user satisfaction in the effective category. The average value of all aspects is 80% with the effective category. Google Forms are effective for Japanese online exams at SMAN 9 Pekanbaru during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Meresensi buku merupakan kegiatan yang dapat memberikan keterampilan kepada mahasiswa untuk membaca secara kritis untuk mengungkapkan keunggulan dan kelemahan dari buku yang dibaca. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun budaya literasi mahasiswa melalui kegiatan meresensi buku. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara. Kegiatan meresensi buku dilakukan dengan tiga tahapan, mulai dari tahap persiapan, membaca, dan menulis. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa secara keseluruhan mahasiswa terlibat aktif mengikuti setiap tahapan pembelajaran. Walaupun kegiatan belum maksimal, tetapi mereka sudah mampu mengulas buku sesuai struktur ulasan.

Abstract

Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengembangkan media pembelajaran alternatif kanji shokyuu berbasis Instagram, (2) mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran alternatif kanji shokyuu berbasis Instagram, dan (3) mengetahui respon kemenarikan pengembangan media pembelajaran alternatif kanji shokyuu berbasis Instagram. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D) yang menggunakan model ADDIE yang dikemukakan oleh Sugiyono dengan 5 tahapan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah berupa media pembelajaran alternatif kanji level shokyuu berbantuan media sosial Instagram yang dibuat menggunakan berbagai aplikasi yang layak dan menarik digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Abstract Furoshiki is one of the traditional Japanese culture which means the use of eco-friendly traditional cloth as wrapping. In everyday life, furoshiki are used to wrap things. In the era of globalization, furoshiki is useful to reduce the use of plastic. Therefore, it is necessary to hold workshops and mentoring in the use of furoshiki among young people, especially high school and vocational students. The workshop materials include, 1) Definition of furoshiki, 2) history and development of furoshiki, 3) Type of fabric, size and motif of furoshiki, 4) Price of furoshiki, 5) Benefits and techniques of making furoshiki. The method used in this workshop is the method of community education and training by means of lectures, discussions and mentoring. Participants are introduced and taught how to make furoshiki so that they can be useful in everyday life. This activity was quite successful when seen from the enthusiasm of the participants in participating in the workshop and indicated by the participant satisfaction questionnaire which touched the figure of 70%. With this workshop, it is hoped that the younger generation will be more concerned about the environment and add insight to the participants. The success of this activity is due to the good cooperation of members of the community service team with the Principal, Japanese language teacher and students of the Health and Tourism Vocational School, Bangkinang City, Riau. Abstract

This study aims to determine the understanding of Japanese Language Education Study Program students' understanding of the learning device components in the form of learning implementation plans before and after the implementation of the school field introduction and to understand the learning device components in the form of learning implementation plans after the implementation of the school field introduction. The type of research used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The data obtained based on the research are primary data and secondary data with data acquisition in the form of interviews and documentation. The test subjects were Japanese language study program students who had carried out an introduction to the school field. The results of the study were obtained in the implementation of the school field introduction, the data source was able to determine the components in the learning implementation plan that adapted to the character of the students and the conditions of the class and school where the data source carried out the school field introduction and there were changes in the allocation of time, determining learning objectives, and determining methods learning. Thus it can be concluded that students of the Japanese Language Study Program have received a change in understanding in the components of making a lesson plan after attending an introduction to the school field.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed many things in a relatively short time. Educators and the community in responding to this condition require changes in clean and healthy living behavior in the new normal era. In the implementation of the New Normal phase, socialization is needed to the community, especially in the school environment with the aim of breaking the chain of spreading the Covid-19 virus, because the new normal does not mean that the environmental conditions are free from the Covid-19 virus, so you must remain vigilant. The service was carried out to the community and the school environment in Laksamana Village, Dumai City District, Riau Province. The method used is through socialization to the community and the school environment. This service activity is one of the work programs of the Balek Kampung Village Community Service Program, Laksamana 2022 as a form of knowledge transfer on ways to implement behavior change as an effort to prevent Covid-19. The results obtained in this service are that the community has the knowledge and ability to apply and motivate and adapt to family members, the community as pioneers in making changes to clean and healthy living behavior in the new normal era.
