Abstract

Application of Reward and Punishment in Increasing Student Learning Achievement in Al-Quran Hadith Subjects at Madrasah Aliyah Negri 01 Ogan Ilir, Thesis, Department of Islamic Religious Education, Faculty of Tarbiyah Sciences, Al-Quran Islamic Institute, Al-Ittifaqiah Indralaya. The aim of this research is to find out and reveal how reward and punishment are applied in improving student learning achievement in the Al-Quran Hadith subject at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 01 Ogan Ilir. In this research the author used qualitative research, qualitative descriptive methods. The results of this research show that the application of rewards and punishments in improving students' learning achievement in the Al Quran Hadith subject at Madrasah Aliyah Negri 01 Ogan Ilir was carried out to motivate students in ongoing learning, teach a sense of responsibility for what has been done, and get used to discipline. There are two forms of reward, namely non-material such as smiles, thumbs up and applause. Material rewards include giving candy, pencils, drawing paper and stars. Meanwhile, the form of punishment is preventive punishment, namely by implementing rules and regulations and repressive punishment, namely giving punishment to students. For example, if a student says something impolite, he or she is given a sanction of saying istighfar 10 to 100 times and his/her goodness star/achievement star is taken away. Another violation is that if you do not want to follow the teacher's directions, you will be given a sanction from standing in front of the class while studying or even being expelled from the class. If you are late, you will be punished by praying alone while standing in front of the class.

Abstract

Strengthening non-formal religious education is an important aspect in efforts to empower village communities. Village governments have a central role in designing policy models that focus on strengthening religious education at the local level. In this research, a qualitative approach was used, taking data from various sources through library research. The research results found that village government policies in implementing non-formal education include several key aspects including community participation, partnerships with religious institutions, provision of adequate facilities and resources budgeted in the APBDes, as well as integration with formal education. Community participation in planning and implementing non-formal religious education programs directs programs that are more relevant to local needs and more supported by the community, because these policies are based on participatory principles and are a joint commitment between the community and the village government as stated in the RPJMDes and RKPDes policy documents. Establishing partnerships with religious institutions is a strong basis for supporting and integrating non-formal religious education in villages. Because formal religious institutions which are also managed by the government have human resources who are trained in the field of religion and can become teachers or facilitators in non-formal religious education activities, due to the weaknesses and limitations of human resources in the village. Next, providing adequate facilities and resources is a prerequisite for creating a conducive learning environment. The availability of classrooms, learning facilities, books and adequate operational funds will improve the quality of non-formal religious education in the village. Integration with formal education is also an important step in strengthening non-formal religious education. Collaboration between formal and non-formal education creates a learning environment that is holistic and relevant to students' needs. Through this policy model, strengthening non-formal religious education in villages can empower the community and increase their knowledge, skills and religious awareness. Continuous evaluation and monitoring are important tools in measuring program effectiveness and ensuring the continuity of community empowerment efforts through religious education at the village level. Abstract

The Indonesian government has launched the concept of “Merdeka Belajar” as an effort to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. This concept aims to provide greater freedom and autonomy to educational units in managing and developing their curriculum according to the needs and potential of students. In this paper, we analyze the concept and structure of Merdeka Belajar curriculum which includes four main components, namely: (1) Merdeka Belajar Policy; (2) Merdeka Belajar Curriculum; (3) Merdeka Belajar Learning; and (4) Merdeka Belajar Assessment. Merdeka Belajar Policy gives greater authority to schools in developing curriculum and learning plans according to local needs. Merdeka Belajar Curriculum focuses on developing core competencies and basic competencies needed by students to face the challenges of the 21st century. Merdeka Belajar Learning encourages teachers to use innovative learning methods, such as project-based learning, problem-based learning, and collaborative learning. Merdeka Belajar assessment emphasizes authentic assessment that measures the ability of students holistically. The application of Merdeka Belajar concept is expected to produce graduates who have competencies that are in line with the needs of industry and society, and are able to think critically, creatively, and innovatively.

Abstract

This research entitled "The Relation of Religious Moderation in the Malay Muslim Community of South Sumatra to Democratic Stability" aims to analyze the relationship of religious moderation in the Malay Muslim community in South Sumatra and its impact on democratic stability in the region. In the context of a religiously and ethnically heterogeneous society, religious moderation is an important factor influencing the stability of a democratic system. This research methodology includes surveys, interviews and content analysis regarding the understanding and practice of religious moderation in the Malay Muslim community. The resulting data was then analyzed to determine the relationship between religious moderation and democratic stability, taking into account other factors that might influence this relationship. Research findings show that in the Malay Muslim community in South Sumatra, the practice of religious moderation can make a positive contribution to democratic stability. Religious moderation can play an important role in encouraging interfaith dialogue, reducing opportunities for conflict, and increasing inclusive political participation. In this context, understanding and implementing the values ​​of religious moderation in the Malay Muslim community of South Sumatra can be considered as social capital that supports sustainable and stable democratic development. These results have important implications for developing policies and strategic approaches that encourage religious moderation as an integral part of the social and political dynamics of society.

Abstract

Perempuan masa kini jarang menduduki satu peran saja dalam aktifitasnya, dengan memikul dua atau lebih banyak lagi peran yang dilakoni akan membuat banyak beban yang harus dijalani, sehingga terkadang menimbulkan kontradiksi antar peran tersebut. Ketidaksetaraan gender telah lama menjadi masalah nasional, dan untuk mengatasinya membutuhkan kesadaran dari keluarga dan masyarakat hingga pemerintah. Di sisi lain, ada kekhawatiran bahwa kesetaraan gender yang berlebihan mengancam keutuhan keluarga. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi masyarakat tentang kesetaraan gender dalam keluarga. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa kesadaran masyarakat terhadap konsep kesetaraan gender masih rendah, namun secara luas dipraktikkan dan diterima oleh masyarakat. Hal ini tercermin dari terwujudnya persamaan hak bagi anak dalam bidang pendidikan, pemerataan pembagian kerja antara anak laki-laki dan perempuan dalam keluarga, kebebasan untuk menentukan pilihan dan menyatakan pendapat, dan kebebasan mengambil keputusan dalam keluarga.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of prayer on health. This research technique uses a literature review approach. A literature review is a description of literature related to a particular discussion found in scientific articles or books. The results of this research illustrate the benefits of the connection between prayer and health, where the prayer movement contains many aspects of relaxation so that it can relieve nervous tension that arises due to various pressures in a person's life, as well as reducing the anxiety that is being felt. Therefore, we as Muslims must be more active and enthusiastic in carrying out prayer solemnly, because in prayer our soul and body focus on one central point in which we believe, namely Allah. It is even explained in Q.s. Al-An'am: 79; "Indeed, I turn my face to Him (God) who created all the heavens and the earth, in Hanif and submission (Muslim), and I am not among those who are polytheists.

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to identify and describe the strategy and implementation of religious culture in schools. This research is a descriptive study using a qualitative approach. Data collection methods used include: a) in-depth interviews; b) participatory observation (participant observation); and c) documentation. Furthermore, the data collected through the three techniques were organized, interpreted, and analyzed repeatedly, to be analyzed using data analysis techniques, namely by presenting data, reducing data, and drawing conclusions. The findings of this study are that in the process of creating a religious culture, because of the socialization process carried out by the principal and all school members in realizing the vision, mission, goals and ideals of the school to the fullest. In the process of forming a religious culture, it is carried out through the stages of planning, implementation and supervision. The forms of religious activities that can be implemented include Tadarus al-Qur'an, Implementation of Dhuha Prayers, Implementation of Dhuhur Prayers in congregation, hospitality, getting used to the 3S culture (smiles, greetings and greetings), Berinfaq and giving alms, and commemoration of religious holidays.

Abstract

Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di tingkat dasar memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk karakter Islami anak-anak sejak usia dini. Di era digital, perkembangan teknologi menawarkan peluang dan tantangan bagi pembelajaran PAI. Penelitian ini mengkaji inovasi dalam PAI yang bertujuan membentuk karakter Islami siswa sekolah dasar, dengan fokus pada penggunaan teknologi digital. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur, mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis sumber-sumber terkait untuk menemukan strategi efektif dalam penerapan PAI di era digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi pendidikan berbasis Islam, konten multimedia, dan platform pembelajaran online dapat meningkatkan akses dan interaktivitas dalam pembelajaran PAI. Namun, keseimbangan antara penggunaan teknologi dan penghayatan nilai-nilai Islami tetap harus dijaga. Studi ini menyoroti pentingnya integrasi teknologi dengan metode pembelajaran yang holistik dan kontekstual, serta peran aktif orang tua dan pendidik dalam mengawasi penggunaan teknologi. Dengan demikian, diharapkan pendekatan PAI yang relevan dan efektif dapat dikembangkan untuk membentuk generasi muda yang memiliki karakter Islami yang kokohkualitas
