Abstract

This study has a goal to analyze the influence of emotional intelligence towards investing decisions. Emotional intelligence covers 5 major part namely motivation, self-awareness, handling feelings, social aptitude, and empathy. This study only focuses on 3 major parts based on pre-survey namely motivation, self-awareness, and handling feelings. This study uses a purposive quantitative method conducted to 97 investors that reside in Indonesia and analyzed using multiple regression. The finding of this research is there are simultaneous effects of emotional intelligence towards investing decisions. This research also find that motivation and self-awareness has not significant effect individually towards investing decision,

Abstract

As Food and Beverage industry growth is still claimed as the one of the highest growth potential, many retailers offer food and beverage in many forms. By observing this opportunity, Entrepreneurs are motivated in starting F&B businesses. With the COVID-19 impacting sales figures in most business specially involving dine-in activities, the researcher would like to investigate further how price, product, promotion influences the purchase intention in T4U Taiwanese beverage branch in West Surabaya. The researcher uses three variables based on the consumers’ survey result which are Price, Promotion, and Product. The purpose of this research is to know the significance level all of those variables have effect towards the consumers’ purchase intention at T4U Surabaya. The total samples are 112 respondents taken from the population people who know T4U is unknown, thus sample number is decided based on Lemeshow method. The responses are collected through questionnaire and selected with purposive sampling method then, run using SPSS. The Multiple Regression Analysis is used to analyze the data of the respondents and the result is Price, Promotion, and Product have positive and significant effect towards Consumers’ Purchase Intention at T4U Surabaya.

Abstract

The use of e-wallet services in the digital society has become a common transaction activity. Thus, multiple companies developed e-wallets to fulfill the industry's user needs. Generation Z, youngsters aged 12 to 27, are tech savvy. With the existence of e-wallets, Generation Z is used to the fast ecosystem. Thus, Generation Z tends to use e-wallets more than the previous generations. This fact is supported by multiple surveys stating that Generation Z uses e-wallets more frequently than the other generation. From this research, perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness as the independent variable have significant effects on the continuance intention of Generation Z in Surabaya. Attitude as the mediation variable also has a significant effect on the perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use towards continuance intention. Thus, Gopay e-wallet developer must ensure their understanding of the factor that makes the users use the application easily, efficiently, time efficiently, cost efficiently, and effortlessly to obtain users’ likability and positive attitude towards the application.

Abstract

Complete document sets and availability ability tocapture business flow have been underestimated among small-medium business practitioners, affecting the bigger chance of unnecessary loss and increasing risks which prone to fraudulent acts both originally from internal and external parties. This research is equipped with interview transcript involving Mr. Daniel Ifianto, CEO (Chief Executive Operational) of CV. Mandiri Jaya Agro-business (MJA), and his wife as CFO (Chief FinancialOfficer, which main business activity is exporting paddy and corn seeds as respondents.). Second Entity, as the research object, is a CV. DCK which is an architecture and interior design company, Mr. DK.Research Method used is a qualitative study which isinvestigating monetary and operational fraud, errors, and omissionsoccurred both intentional and unintentionally related to the availability of complete documents and Standard Operating Procedure(SOP) application. The research finding shows that solutions were found through creating sets of document copies, authorizations, and document cycle movements concluding parties and people involved both internally and externally. The implication was fraud has been significantly reduced, and the owner feels that applying a complete set of documents andproper authorization has been useful for monitoring the organization itself before fraud happens.

Abstract

The research aims toexplore mentor dan mentee's insights toward business and accounting teaching and learning model in entrepreneurship context which able to create a creative business. The research subject is business and accounting teaching and learning model in Universitas Ciputra's Management Study Program, which is applied to project based and using mentoring approach. Informants are facilitators and students who are building start-up businesses. The research uses a qualitative method and case study approach. Results show that Students gain positive insight into business and accounting teaching and learning method that is applied, Facilitators applied the creative method to reach the optimal teaching and learning result, and engagement pattern in form of mentoring is agreed by both parties. These research results are wished to be used for higher education who is working on their entrepreneurship teaching and learning pattern aiming for creating creative businesses.
