Indonesia as a Moslem's country is known as wasteful in using water. Whilst, Islam teaches to care of water and not to use wastefully.  Moreover, since there are some natural disasters, people become more concern on environment. This research is aimed to study the correlation between the comprehension of Islamic teaching about water and environmental concern simultaneously with the intention to save water. Subject of this research is the students of Tarbiyah Faculty of Sunan Kalijaga Islamic University who are engaged in the 2nd series of PPL-KKN Integratif.  The data is obtained by employing the Intention to Save Water Scale, the Comprehension Test of Islamic Teaching about Water, and the Environmental Concern Scale. This research shows that 1) there is a positive and very significant correlation between  the comprehension of Islamic teaching about water and environmental concern simultaneously with the intention to save water (F=10.233, p<0.01); 2) there is no relationships between comprehension of Islamic teaching about water and intention to save water by controlling environmental concern variable ( rx1y,x1 = -.047, p>0.05) ; 3) there is a positive and very significant correlation between environmental concern and intention to save water by controlling  the comprehension of Islamic teaching about water variable (rx2y,x1 = 0.417, p<0.001).

This type of research is an ex post facto study with a correlational type. The subjects of this study were 89 PAI students from the 2022 intake. The variables in this study consist of the dependent variable, namely interpersonal communication skills and the independent variable, namely self-efficacy. The data collected is an analysis of self-efficacy and interpersonal communication skills using a questionnaire instrument. The data analysis used is simple regression analysis and product moment correlation. The results of the correlation coefficient analysis for the self-efficacy variable with interpersonal communication skills = 0.784 with a significance of 0.000 (p 0.01). The results of data analysis show a significant positive relationship between self-efficacy and interpersonal communication skills in students with a determination coefficient of 61.5% and the remaining 38.5%, and 139.140 3.95, which means there is a positive and significant relationship between self- efficacy and interpersonal communication skills in students.

Abstract

The advancement of technology and information has brought significant changes in various aspects of life, including education. One of the impacts of globalization is the advancement of technology and information. Globalization cannot be separated from the rapid development of information and communication technology, the primary supporting factor. Appropriate technology can increase student learning motivation, increase interaction between students and teachers, and facilitate access to information. Educators must consider technology in learning. To present engaging and innovative education, teachers are required to follow technological developments. The intention is to use technology to facilitate the learning process. This study aims to describe the implementation of Canva and analyze its impact on improving writing skills in English subjects at SMP PGRI Saptosari. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data was obtained through observation, questionnaire completion, and documentation. Observations were carried out twice. The study's results indicate improved writing skills, particularly in creating procedure texts for English learning. The obtained data concluded that the creativity assessment indicator increased from the previous average of 64.68 to 85.10. The score jumped from the lesser to the excellent category by 20.42 points. The second increase in diction or word choice resulted in an average value increase from 61.31 to 78.4, moving from the less category to the sufficient one. The last is in the organizational text, which was initially 71.81 and increased to 79.40.

Abstract

People often say that literacy is the foundation for a person's lifelong education. Improving students' literacy skills is one of the main focuses in today's education world. Literacy, which includes reading, writing, and understanding information well, is an essential foundation in the learning process at all levels of education. Good literacy skills help students succeed academically and equip them with the critical and analytical thinking skills needed in everyday life. We need to consider literacy development because it is a fundamental ability that every individual must possess to navigate life in the future. This study aims to develop a strategy to improve the literacy of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Potrobangsan 2 through a combination of library visits and the Gemini AI program. We expect library visits to cultivate students' interest in reading physical books, while the Gemini AI program serves as an interactive digital literacy medium to enhance students' learning experiences. This research approach uses a qualitative method with observation, in-depth interviews, and focus group discussions (FGD) as the primary instruments for data collection. The study results indicate that integrating traditional literacy learning with digital technology can improve students' literacy skills holistically. Students showed increased reading comprehension, higher involvement in literacy activities, and mastery of digital literacy skills. Implementing this strategy also increased motivation among students to read and utilize the library optimally. Therefore, elementary schools can apply this strategy as an effective literacy learning model.

Abstract

Internationalization plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality and global recognition of Islamic higher education institutions in Indonesia. This study investigates how these institutions implement internationalization by drawing insights from the experience of Monash University in Australia. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through interviews and document analysis. The findings indicate that while Islamic higher education institutions have implemented key aspects of internationalization, there is still room for improvement. Institutions must continuously enhance educational quality while maintaining their unique identity to attract international students. Greater autonomy in financial and administrative management is necessary to align Islamic universities with other leading public institutions. Policy support from the government is essential in ensuring institutional autonomy and protecting human resource rights without excessive intervention. Seeking international accreditation through relevant accrediting bodies is also critical in strengthening global competitiveness. These findings highlight the need for strategic efforts by university leaders, government, and stakeholders to advance the internationalization agenda in Islamic higher education. Strengthening institutional autonomy, improving quality standards, and achieving international accreditation will contribute to greater global engagement and recognition of Islamic universities in Indonesia.
