Abstract

Abstract: The aims of this research was to describe the critical thinking process of the students in Grade XI pharmacy of SMK Citra Medika Sragen who have the high, moderate, and low abilities in each stage of clarification, analysis and solving strategy in solving mathematics problem. This research used qualitative case study approach. The results of research are the critical thinking process of the students as follows (1) The students with the high initial ability in mathematics: (a) clarification, they mention the information which they know and ask question by using their own language; (b) analysis, the students identify the necessary information. They formulate the step of problem solving and explain it confidently. It is proven when they illustrate the reason logically about the necessary information, using inequalities symbol, and non-negative condition. The students use their prior knowledge, after that, they draw a conclusion by returning the final result to the problem context; (c) solving strategy, they evaluate their work to re-calculate and that find another problem solving alternative at last; (2) The students the moderate initial ability in mathematics: (a) clarification, they mention the information which they know and ask question by using their own language;  (b) analysis, the students identify the necessary information to reread the problem. They formulate the solving problem step precisely. They use their prior knowledge to draw the conclusion by returning the final result to the problem context; (c) solving strategy, the students evaluate their work by seeing it; (3) The students with the low initial ability in mathematics: (a) clarification, they mention the information which they know and question it after reading it for few times and they need of question stimulus; (b) analysis, the students identify the necessary information to reread the problem, and, again, they need a question stimulus. They takes long time in formulating the problem solving. They draw the conclusion by returning the final result to the problem context; (c) solving strategy, the students commit the evaluation by seeing their work from the beginning to the end.Keywords: Critical Thinking Process, Mathematics Problem Solving, and Initial Ability in Mathematics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan metodepembelajaran kuantum dengan pendekatan kimia hijau terhadap hasil belajarkimia materi redoks.Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas X SMANegeri 1 Gubug.Sampel penelitian diambil dua kelas secara acak yaitu kelas X-Esebagai kelas eksperimendan X-F sebagai kelas kontrol.Kelas eksperimenmenggunakan metode pembelajaran kuantum dengan pendekatan kimia hijausedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan metode konvensional.Penelitiandilakukan dengan memberikan pre test sebelum mendapatkan perlakuan,dilanjutkan dengan pembelajaran, dan diakhiri dengan post test. Berdasarkanhasil penelitian, diperoleh rata-rata nilai pre test pada kelas eksperimen 33,57danpada kelas kontrol adalah 33,48; sedangkan nilai post testkelas eksperimen78,31dan 69,50 pada kelas kontrol. Hasil analisis data pos test diuji kesamaandua rata-ratadihasilkan rata-rata kedua kelas berbeda secara signifikan denganbatas galat 5%. Jadi hasil belajar kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelaskontrol. Besarnya pengaruh penggunaan metode pembelajaran kuantum denganpendekatan kimia hijau sebesar 37,04%.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapatdisimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh penggunaan metode pembelajaran kuantumdengan pendekatan kimia hijau terhadap hasil belajar kimia materi redoks padasiswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Gubug.

Abstract

Storytelling  merupakan  suatu  proses  kreatif  anak-anak  yang  dalam  perkembangannya  senantiasa mengaktifkan bukan hanya aspek intelektual saja tetapi juga aspek kepekaan, kehalusan budi, emosi, seni, daya berfantasi, dan imajinasi anak yang tidak hanya mengutamakan kemampuan otak kiri tetapi juga kemampuan otak kanan. Berbicara mengenai storytelling, secara umum semua anak-anak senang mendengarkan storytelling, baik anak  balita, usia sekolah dasar, maupun yang telah beranjak remaja bahkan orang dewasa. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh kegiatan storytelling terhadap tumbuh kembang anak usia 3-5 tahun di TK/KB Petra Kediri. Desain penelitian menggunakan pre eksperimental. Tehnik pengambilan sampel total sampling dengan jumlah sampel 30 responden. Uji Statistik menggunakan wilcoxon sign rank test dengan α = 0,05.Penelitian ini diketahui bahwa dari 30 responden sebelum diberikan storytelling mengalami tumbuh kembang meragukan sebanyak 27 anak (90%) dan 3anak (10%) mengalami tumbuh kembang menyimpang, sedangkan sesudah diberikan storytelling mengalami tumbuh  kembang sesuai sebanyak 20 anak (66,7%) dan sebesar 10 anak (33,3%) mengalami tumbuh kembang meragukan. Kesimpulan diperoleh nilai p = 0,000 dengan α =0,05 dimana p<α sehingga Ho ditolak   yang artinya ada pengaruh kegiatan storytelling terhadap tumbuh kembang anak.Hasil penelitian setelah dilakukan kegiatan storytelling di dapatkan bahwa ada pengaruh terhadap tumbuh kembang anak. Di harapkan guru di KB-TK Petra kediri untuk meningkatkan kegiatan storytelling. Kata Kunci :  Storytelling, Tumbuh kembang, Anak Usia 3-5 Tahun. STORYTELLING IMPLEMENTATION IN AGE CHILDREN 3-5 YEARS AS A DEVELOPMENT STIMULATION EFFORTS ABSTRACTStorytelling is a creative process of children who in its development always activates not only intellectual  aspects  but  also  aspects  of  sensitivity,  refinement,  emotion,  art,  fantasy  power,  andimagination of children who not only prioritize left brain abilities but also the ability of the right brain. Speaking of storytelling, in general all children love to listen to storytelling, both toddlers,elementary school age, and those who have grown up even adults. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of storytelling activities on the growth of children aged 3-5 years in Petra Kediri Kindergarten / KB. The research design uses pre experimental. Total sampling technique with asample of 30 respondents. The Statistical Test used the Wilcoxon sign rank test with α = 0.05. Thisstudy found that of the 30 respondents before being given storytelling, there were 27 children (90%)and 3 children (10%) experiencing deviant growth and development, while after being given storytelling. experienced growth and development according to as many as 20 children (66.7%) and as many as 10 children (33.3%) experienced dubious growth growth. Conclusions obtained p value =0,000 with α = 0.05 where p <α so that Ho is rejected, which means there is the influence of storytelling activities on child growth and development. The results of the research after storytelling activities are found that there is an influence on child development. It is expected that caregivers at Petra Kediri Kindergarten will improve storytelling activities. Keywords: Storytelling, Growing, Children 3-5 years old

Abstract

 Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperbaiki kinerja guru. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan metode deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat ditarik kesimpulan: 1) Perencanaan perencanaan pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan sikap saling menghargai melalui metode bermain peran, pada anak usia 5-6 tahun, pada PAUD Aisyiyah Kabupaten Melawi, dapat dikategorikan “baik sekali”. 2) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran melalui metode bermain peran untuk meningkatkan sikap saling menghargai dapat dikategorikan “baik sekali”.  3) Penerapan metode bermain peran dalam meningkatkan sikap saling menghargai pada anak usia 5-6 tahun, dapat dikategorikan “berkembang sangat baik”. Kegiatan yang dilakukan pada anak usia 5-6 tahun, pada PAUD Aisyiyah Kabupaten Melawi, antara lain: anak menghargai ide yang disampaikan teman dalam kegiatan bermain, anak tidak mengejek apabila teman melakukan kesalahan, anak mengucapkan terima kasih apabila mendapatkan pemberian dari orang lain.Kata kunci: Sikap, Menghargai   Abstrack: This research is conducted to improve teacher activities. This research is a form of action research with descriptive method. Based on the research that has been carried out and through the results obtained after the analysis of the data held, in general, can be drawn a conclusion that: 1) Planning the learning plan to improve mutual respect through methods play a role in children aged 5-6 years old in early childhood Aisyiyah Melawi compiled by teachers can be categorized "very well". 2) The implementation of learning through role-play method to improve mutual respect in children aged 5-6 years old in early childhood can be categorized Aisyiyah Melawi "very well". 3) The application of the method to play a role in enhancing mutual respect in children aged 5-6 years old in early childhood can be categorized Aisyiyah Melawi "very well developed". The activities in children aged 5-6 years old includes: children appreciate the ideas presented in the companion play activities, children do not mock when friends make mistakes, son thanked when getting a gift from someone else. Abstract

Background: New normal is a term that has often been discussed recently due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The New Normal is the social habits of society and individual behavior that emerged after the COVID-19 pandemic (Habibi, 2020). The new normal is not only to prevent the transmission of Covid-19, but the new normal is very good for supporting a clean and healthy lifestyle. Children are one of the vulnerable groups in society. The behavioral patterns that exist in children make it difficult to carry out health protocols for washing hands with soap. Objective: This research aims to determine the relationship between knowledge about washing hands with soap in the new era. normal hand washing behavior in Class 4 5 6 students at SDN 2 Kedungwaru. Results: The results of this study show that respondents who have good knowledge all have good behavior with a total of 4 respondents (22%). Meanwhile, respondents who have less knowledge all have poor behavior with a total of 7 respondents (58%). The statistical test results obtained ρ value (0.000) with α (0.05). Conclusion: Therefore, there is a relationship between knowledge about washing hands using soap in the new normal era and hand-washing behavior in students in grades 4 5 6 at SDN 2 Kedungwaru. Children are a group that is quite difficult to enforce when it comes to washing their hands because children assume that their hands are always clean, and when they are given information, it is not always easy for children to grasp and process it.

Abstract

Infeksi nosokomial adalah infeksi yang terjadi di rumah sakit atau fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan setelah pasien dirawat selama 2x24 jam, dimana sebelumnya pasien tidak menunjukkan gejala penyakit dan tidak dalam masa inkubasi. Pasien, petugas kesehatan, pengunjung, dan perawat pasien merupakan kelompok yang paling berisiko terkena infeksi nosokomial, karena infeksi tersebut dapat ditularkan dari pasien ke pengunjung atau keluarga atau dari staf ke pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis determinan pencegahan dan pengendalian Infeksi Nosokomial di RSAU dr. Esnawan Antariksa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode campuran yaitu kuantitatif dengan menggunakan analisis data bivariat dengan Uji Chi-Square, kemudian dilakukan metode kualitatif dengan wawancara dengan para ahli. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan yaitu dukungan manajemen, Tim Pencegahan dan Pengendalian Infeksi, dan jaminan terhadap pencegahan dan pengendalian ancaman infeksi nosokomial, sedangkan variabel Sarana dan Prasarana,, Empati, Daya Tanggap, Kehandalan tidak berhubungan dengan pencegahan dan pengendalian Infeksi Nosokomial, selain itu, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pencegahan dan pengendalian infeksi nosokomial perlu ditingkatkan, dengan memberikan pelatihan yang bertujuan untuk memperbaiki perilaku individu petugas, menambah kelengkapan sarana dan prasarana, dan menambah dukungan manajemen dalam bentuk peningkatan kesejahteraan kepada petugas.

Abstract

The increasing pollution which promotes accumulation of free radicals and a significant number of bacterial resistances to antibiotics have prompted various efforts to search for new sources of bioactive compounds. The aim of this study was to investigate the antibacterial and antioxidant properties of bioactive compounds produced by endophyte bacteria from M. bancana. The most potential bacterial isolate was extracted its active constituents until obatined crude extract and tested using disc diffusion technique and detemined MIC and MBC values. Antioxidant properties using DPPH radicals were performed followed by GC-MS analysis of its crude extract. We obtained that MB3.1 isolate exhibited antibacterial activity against all four tested bacteria including Escherichia coli strain ATCC 8739, Pseudomonas aeruginosa strain ATCC 9027, Staphylococcus aureus strain ATCC 25923, and Bacillus subtilis strain ATCC 6633. The best MIC values of this extract were shown against B. subtilis with an MIC value of 39.06 μg/ml. Further, MB3.1 extract showed a moderate antioxidant activity with an IC50 value of 248.19 μg/ml. GC-MS analysis of MB3.1 extract revealed 10 dominant compounds, including phenylethyl alcohol, benzeneethanol, 4-hydroxy, and tryptophol, which might be responsible for the antibacterial and antioxidant properties.

Abstract

The advancement of technology and information has brought significant changes in various aspects of life, including education. One of the impacts of globalization is the advancement of technology and information. Globalization cannot be separated from the rapid development of information and communication technology, the primary supporting factor. Appropriate technology can increase student learning motivation, increase interaction between students and teachers, and facilitate access to information. Educators must consider technology in learning. To present engaging and innovative education, teachers are required to follow technological developments. The intention is to use technology to facilitate the learning process. This study aims to describe the implementation of Canva and analyze its impact on improving writing skills in English subjects at SMP PGRI Saptosari. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data was obtained through observation, questionnaire completion, and documentation. Observations were carried out twice. The study's results indicate improved writing skills, particularly in creating procedure texts for English learning. The obtained data concluded that the creativity assessment indicator increased from the previous average of 64.68 to 85.10. The score jumped from the lesser to the excellent category by 20.42 points. The second increase in diction or word choice resulted in an average value increase from 61.31 to 78.4, moving from the less category to the sufficient one. The last is in the organizational text, which was initially 71.81 and increased to 79.40.
