Abstract

The tourism industry is one sector of the economy, is also part of the national development of a nation. Tourism has an effect on the economy of the tourist destination. Indonesia is an archipelago with attractive tourism resources, both natural beauty and variety cultural. Bandung is a city that is always visited by tourists. With the number of tourists coming necessarily have to be balanced with adequate supporting tourism facilities as well as restaurants. The Centrum is one restaurant that has a feel like a cruise ship, to be able to compete with other restaurants The Centrum strive to meet the wishes and needs of guests. The number of purchases at the restaurant The Centrum experiencing fluctuating so does the amount of income. Strategies under taken in improving the purchasing decision one of them is Direct Marketing. This study aimed to obtain findings on direct marketing, purchasing decisions and influence between the two at the restaurant The Centrum. This type of research is descriptive and verification method used is explanatory survey. The sample of 100 respondents with a sampling technique that is systematic random sampling. Data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis. The independent variable in this study is face to face selling (X1), telemarketing (X2) and online marketing (X3) while the dependent variable is the purchase decision (Y). The results showed that the respondents about direct marketing is generally considered high. There biggest influence on online marketing while telemarketing received the lowest ratings. Responder regarding the purchasing decisions rated. The indicator that received the highest score is the method of payment and that got the lowest score is the number of purchases. Based on testing SPSS 20 shows a correlation between the partial simultaneous and direct marketing to the purchase decision.

Abstract

One type of tourism has great potential. Umrah and Hajj is a popular type of religious tourism in Indonesia. The potential is rated high because the majority of Indonesia's population is Muslim. Given this also emerging cooperation between Indonesia and Saudi Arabia as a tourist destination more closely. One of them with the cooperation of the travel-travel in Indonesia with travel that is in Saudi Arabia. This of course affects the number of trips efforts in several major cities in Indonesia, one of which the city of Bandung.One travel agency Bandung is Raka Tours and Travel. Raka Tours and Travel is a BPW (Travel Bureau), which is engaged in servicing a variety of travel needs, such as the sale of air transportation tickets, hotel vouchers, travel packages, various services of travel documents, MICE and religious journey that umrah and hajj. Raka Tours umrah package sales decreased from 2010 to 2011. The sales decline Raka Tours umrah package is reached -14.55%. Direct marketing especially in direct mail and telemarketing is one of the strategies that can be used to increase sales.In this regard it is done research on the effect of direct mail and telemarketing to purchasing decision umrah package. Step - step Direct Marketing consists of direct mail (direct mail) and telemarketing (selling over the phone).Type of research is descriptive and verification methods used are cross sectional method with the sample size using the formula iteration, the obtained sample size of 110 respondents. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS for windows 18:00. Based on the test results obtained by statistical findings of direct marketing in which all variables have an influence on purchase decisions that direct mail and telemarketing, it showed 65.15% have an influence on the purchase decision, while the remaining 34.85% influenced by other variables. Thus, the direct mail and telemarketing have a strong influence in influencing purchasing decisions Raka umrah package tours and Travel.

Abstract

Kabupaten Cirebon is one of regencies in West java has tourism potential can be relied, and the one of destination is Kawasan Objek Wisata Belanja Batik Trusmi. Kawasan Objek Wisata Belanja Batik Trusmi is a shopping tourism area that offers a variety oftypicalCirebonanbatikcollection. The number of tourist visits on Kawasan Objek Wisata Belanja Batik Trusmi has decreased from 2007 to 2010. The most drastic decrease of tourist visit happened in 2010. Shopping experience is one of marketing strategy that can be used to increase the number of visit. In connection with these to research studies conducted on the influence shopping experience toward brand image Kawasan Objek Wisata Belanja Batik Trusmi. The purpose of this research is to find shopping experience influence brand image to Kawasan Objek Wisata belanja Batik Trusmi. Promotion mix consists of price, characteristics ofdestinations, merchandising, authenticity, and staff service quality. Technique of sampling is simple random sampling.The method in that used in this research is explanatory survey by using ordinal scale.Analyze from this research use Path Analysis with a computer software tools SPSS 19.0. The result of this research is shopping experience influence significantly 71,48% and the rest influence other factors. Based on the result of statistical test results were obtained, there were three variables of shopping experience which had an influence on brand image of price, merchandising, and authenticity and there was two variables that had no effect on brand image was characteristics ofdestinations and staff service quality.That it can be concluded that price, merchandising, and authenticity strong influence brand image on Kawasan Objek Wisata Belanja Batik Trusmi.

Abstract

Menanggapi perkembangan pariwisata Kota Bandung, usaha jasa pariwisata kian mengalami kemajuan seperti biro perjalanan wisata yang menawarkan jasa untuk pengaturan perjalanan wisata. Salah satu perusahaan dalam bidang biro perjalanan wisata yang sedang berkembang ialah Marga Tour. Dalam menunjang keberlangsungan kegiatan perjalanan wisata, setiap perusahaan biro perjalanan wisata membutuhkan peran seorang pemimpin tour atau tour leader. Tour leader merupakan seseorang yang berada dijajaran paling depan yang mewakili perusahaan dalam memimpin perjalanan dan memenuhi kebutuhan wisatawan selama kegiatan tour. Keahlian dan kecakapan seorang tour leader saat berinteraksi dengan para wisatawan atau konsumen yang menggunakan jasa tour disebut sebagai tour leader performance. Tour leader performance berasal dari Service Performance (SERVPERF). Dari hasil pra penelitian pada perilaku konsumen pasca pembelian (post purchase behavior) menunjukkan kecenderungan masih mudahnya konsumen berkeinginan untuk berganti produk (swicth). Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran dan pengaruh mengenai tour leader performance (X) dan post purchase behavior (Y). Adapun populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah konsumen yang telah melakukan pembelian/menggunakan jasa perjalanan wisata di Marga Tour. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif verifikatif, dan metode yang digunakan adalah survei dengan teknik systematic random sampling, maka diperoleh jumlah sampel sebesar 100 responden. Teknik analisis data adalah path analyisis (analsis jalur).

Abstract

Saung Angklung Udjo sebagai sanggar seni merupakan tempat laboratorium pendidikan, latihan, dan pertunjukan musik etnik untuk mendidik para pelatih dan pemain dalam bidang kesenian khas Jawa Barat, khususnya musik angklung. Dari pra penelitian yang telah dilakukan didapat permasalahan bahwa walaupun tingkat kunjungan di Saung Angklung Udjo tiap tahunnya selalu terjadi peningkatan tetapi masih saja ada pengunjung yang merasa tidak puas dengan pelayanan yang diberikan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif verifikatif dan metode yang digunakan adalah explanatory survey dengan menggunakan skala ordinal. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah systematic random sampling dengan ukuran sampel menggunakan rumus slovin, maka diperoleh jumlah sampel sebanyak 100 responden. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan diperoleh persamaan regresi yaitu Y = 9,324 + 0,743X.

Abstract

Tourism industries in Indonesia has developed very advanced, this is due to the increasing number of tourists both foreign tourists and domestic tourists. The development of the need for care and maintenance as well as improvement in various sectors, especially regarding the facility and to provide easy of accommodation for tourists visiting. Puspa Iptek Sundial is one of the tourist attraction located in the area Kota Baru Parahyangan West Bandung regency, it is easy to access and make it as a choice of tourist attraction to visit. The implementation of Brand Positioning in this study measured by the knowledge of respondents to Attributes, Benefits and Beliefs and Value. Respondents also being questioned on their perception about visiting decision to the Puspa Iptek Sundial. The results of this study indicate that the Brand positioning influence on decision to visit. This can be seen from the significantly high level of correlation and also the result shows the relationship between Brand Positioning and against visiting decision is in a strong relationship.

Abstract

The development and growth of maritime tourism in Indonesia nowadays become a prominence that can be created as a maritime destination in world level. Indonesia’s Sabang until Merauke store millions of the beauty of natures that are unique and can not be found in other place even there are not many people know it. One of many potentials that Indonesia has, there is Pulau Sikuai which is located in Pantai Padang, West Sumatera. Pulau Sikuai in its development does really keep and concern about the natural of environment, and also support the “green” concept that is being conducted by the local government and central government. So as it becomes own differentiation of Pulau Sikuai in giving the product and more satisfaction to the visitors because of taking part in preserving nature and environment. The product differentiation of Pulau Sikuai “green tourism destination” consists of features, performance, style and design. Based on the explanation, the research is done to know about the visiting satisfaction that is viewed from product differentiation “green tourism destination”. Analysis unit of the research is the visitors with the population reaches until 80 persons. The method that is done in this research is descriptive method and verification method, the research is conducted in less than one year period of time, so that it is used cross sectional method. The data that is used is primary data and secondary data which is conducted through literature study and questionnaire. To measure how big the impact of product differentiation “green tourism destination” to the visiting satisfaction in Pulau Sikuai, the multiple regression is performed. Based on the hypothesis statistic, product differentiation “green tourism destination” which consists of features, performance, style and design can influence the visiting satisfaction in Pulau Sikuai. Where the variable features mempengaruih visit satisfaction of 34.82%, while affecting the performance of 17.52% visit satisfaction, style and design affect the satisfaction of visiting at 3.06%.

Abstract

The Hotel is one form of accommodation that supports the tourism activity. Kota Bukit Indah Plaza Hotel a four-star hotel in Purwakarta regency has a decrease at the level of customer satisfaction. To increase the customer satisfaction, Kota Bukit Indah Plaza Hotel implementation the service encounter quality is a focus of the performance of the employees by providing the best quality of service delivery currently underway, in the event of contact between employees and individual guest are referred to as the service encounters quality. The purpose of this study was to determine service encounter quality at Kota Bukit Indah Plaza Hotel, the satisfaction of guest who stayed at Kota Bukit Indah Plaza Hotel, and the effect's service encounter quality of the guest satisfaction. In this study, the independent variable (X) was the service encounter quality that consisted of professionalism, civility, friendliness, and competence, and the dependent variable (Y) was individual guest satisfaction. This type of research was a descriptive and verification. The systematic random sampling technique was used to distribute 100 questionnaires for the respondents. The data were analyzed by using path analysis method. The results showed that the variables of service encounter quality had a significant influence on the individual guest satisfaction.
