Abstract

This study aims to develop a Pop up book to improve student understanding and identify the eligibility of Pop up book being developed to improve student understanding. This type of research method is Research and Development (R&D). The development model used is the ADDIE model, the data collection used is documentation, questionnaires, and tests. The result of the eligibility data analysis shows that the Pop up book is eligible to be used with the percentage of eligibility by media expert at 50% in revision 1, 73.3% in revision 2, and 93.3% in revision 3, eligibility by material expert of 91 .7%, and eligibility by pretest posttest experts of 80%. The increasing of understanding using Pop up book media can be seen from the analysis of the pretest and posttest data by comparing the average values obtained. The pretest value data before learning using the Pop up book shows an average result of 70. Meanwhile, the posttest value after learning using the Pop up book shows an average result of 83.28.

Abstract

The use of augmented reality (AR) in education has shown potential to improve primary school students' numeracy skills. However, AR research for elementary school geometry is still rare. This study aims to develop augmented reality (AR)-based interactive learning media using the assembler edu platform to improve students' numeracy literacy in geometry subjects. The development method uses ADDIE, the research stages include needs analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The needs analysis identified problems such as the lack of interactive learning materials and students' difficulties in understanding geometry material. At the design stage, the storyboard and flowchart are made using assembler applications. Media development is done by combining components such as materials, geometry images, animations, and music. Implementation is done through trials by material experts, media experts, and field practitioners, as well as small group and large group trials. The evaluation results show that the developed media has high validity with a percentage of 92% from material experts and 88% from media experts, as well as a significant increase in student numeracy literacy with the percentage of completeness increasing from 6.15% (pre-test) to 79.8% (post-test). With an N-Gain Score of 0.52, this media is proven effective and feasible to use as an additional learning resource.. Recommendations for future research include developing content for other topics, testing in different conditions, and improving interactive features.

Abstract

The development of PUKIF (Creative Puzle) learning media for Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah students can significantly improve learning outcomes and student engagement. However, it is still little developed for civic education learning in madrasah Ibtidaiyyah. . This study aims to develop the design and test the feasibility of PUKIF (Creative Puzzle) learning media. This research involved 29 students of class II-D MIN 1 Kota Kediri for the trial. This type of research and development in this study is using Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design¸ Develop, Implement, and Evaluate). The instruments in this study are interviews, observations, documentation, questionnaires for material and media expert assessments, and student response questionnaires. The results showed that (1) the validation results of 2 media experts showed that the learning media was suitable for use in the learning process with an average score of 3.8 and 3.8 from the score range of 3.25 ≤ ¯x ≤ 4.00, While the results of the operational field trial show that the learning media is feasible to use in the learning process with an average score of 1.93, the score range is 1 < ¯x ≤ 2. For further research, researchers should compare the effectiveness of PUKIF with other existing learning media, such as flashcards, educational games, or other interactive learning methods.
