<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze and determine the health level of Islamic Rural Bank (BPRS) in Indonesia from 2017-2021 before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used is the Paired Sample t Test and the Wilcoxon signed Rank Test on indicators of the soundness level of the BPRS, including Finance to Deposit Ratio (FDR), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Finance (NPF), Ratio of Operating Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO), Return On Assets (ROA) and Return On Equity (ROE). The results of the research based on the Paired Sample T test found that there was a significant difference in the FDR variable before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, the results of the Wilcoxon signed rank test showed that there were significant differences between CAR, NPF, BOP, ROA and ROE before and during the Covid-19 pandemic]]>

<![CDATA[The application of sharia principles in economics promises a more equitable and inclusive economic development. Implementing sharia economics in coastal areas provides a number of economic benefits for the community. Limited access to adequate resources and infrastructure can affect the community's ability to apply sharia economic principles. The purpose of this study was to determine what factors influence the application of the concept of sharia economics in coastal areas seen from internal and external factors. This study is a quantitative study. The respondents in this study were 300 people in the Meranti Islands who were already working. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression using the SEM-PLS model. The results of this study showed that the variables of education and skills, personality and motivation, social and economic, environment, and technology and information had a direct and significant effect on the application of the sharia concept in the coastal areas of the Meranti Islands. while the variables of policy and regulation did not have a direct and significant effect on the application of the sharia concept in the coastal areas of Meranti Regency.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the impact of the existence of the Muara Fajar Waste Disposal Site (TPA) in Pekanbaru on the income of the surrounding community. The research method employed is a qualitative approach, with data collection through in-depth interviews with community members involved in activities at the TPA, including scavengers, waste managers, and other economically impacted residents. The results show that the presence of Muara Fajar TPA has a positive impact on the increase in income for the surrounding community, particularly through waste management activities such as sorting, collecting recyclable items, and processing organic waste. Most informants reported an increase in income after being involved in TPA activities, although difficulties remain in meeting basic needs such as school fees, especially for higher education. This study concludes that while the TPA contributes to the economic well-being of the community, significant challenges remain in managing family finances and meeting educational needs. Therefore, it is recommended to develop sustainable community empowerment programs and provide educational support for low-income families to improve their overall well-being.]]>

<![CDATA[This service provides socialization about sharia mutual fund investment to the community in Logas Village, Singingi District. In this service, training is also provided on how to start investing in sharia mutual funds using a digital investment platform and how to buy and sell sharia mutual funds on the digital investment platform. The main problems experienced by partners in general are the lack of knowledge about legal investment and limited knowledge about the development of information technology that can facilitate investment. So that it becomes a factor that causes partners not to try to start investing. The implementation method used is lectures, demonstrations/practices, and discussions. The implementation of this activity was attended by 10 people consisting of 8 women and 2 men with an age range of 15-44 years. From this activity, the service team succeeded in increasing the participants' understanding of sharia mutual fund investment, how to start investing in sharia mutual funds with a digital investment platform and how to carry out sharia mutual fund buying and selling transactions. This is indicated by an increase in participant knowledge as seen from the participant questionnaire score during the pre-test, which was only 47.5%, increasing to 77.75% after the training. Although the benefits of community service are very significant for participant knowledge of sharia mutual fund investment and the use of the Bibit application. However, participants are expected to continue practicing sharia mutual fund investment, to improve their skills and provide hope for a better future through investment.]]>

<![CDATA[Usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) mempunyai peran yang sangat penting dalam peningkatan kemakmuran masyarakat serta ketahanan perekonomian nasional. Hal ini disebabkan karena usaha mikro memiliki karakteristik yang ideal untuk dikembangkan baik dari sisi kuantitas maupun kualitas. Salah satu cara meningkatkan kualitas UMKM agar dapat masuk ke segmen pasar yang lebih luas adalah dengan kepemilikan sertifikasi halal mengingat segmen pasar halal dunia terus mengalami peningkatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor eksternal maupun internal yang mempengaruhi keputusan pelaku UMKM di Kota Pekanbaru untuk memiliki sertifikat halal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan regresi logistik biner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor eksternal yang mempengaruhi kepemilikan sertifikasi halal adalah regulasi pemerintah (X1) dan permintaan konsumen (X2) dengan nilai Sig. masing-masing adalah 0,027 dan 0,025 sedangkan tindakan kompetitor (X3) tidak berpengaruh. Adapun pengetahuan (X4) menjadi satu-satunya faktor internal yang mempengaruhi kepemilikan sertifikasi halal dengan nilai Sig. 0,000, sedangkan tingkat pendidikan (X5) dan omzet (X6) tidak berpengaruh. Adapun nilai odds ratio untuk masing-masing variabel yang berpengaruh adalah 8,909 kali untuk X1, 0,070 untuk X2, dan 27,232 untuk X4. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa variabel pengetahuan menjadi faktor paling kuat dalam mempengaruhi keputusan pelaku UMKM untuk memiliki sertifikasi halal di Kota Pekanbaru.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Investasi, Indeks Pembangunan Manusia, dan Upah Terhadap Penyerapan Tenaga Kerja Di Provinsi Riau yang bersumber dari Badan Pusat Statistik Provinsi Riau serta jurnal dan literatur yang berkaitan dengan penelitian ini. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian Investasi di Provinsi Riau menunjukkan pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa investasi yang ada belum secara optimal menciptakan lapangan kerja, kemungkinan karena dominasi sektor kapital-intensif seperti minyak dan gas. Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM) berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja. Hal ini dapat mengindikasikan bahwa peningkatan IPM cukup terintegrasi dengan kebutuhan pasar tenaga kerja lokal. Upah minimum berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja, menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan upah mendorong semangat kerja dan produktivitas tenaga kerja tanpa menghambat pengusaha untuk mempekerjakan.]]>

<![CDATA[The problem of poverty in countries with a Muslim majority can be overcome by optimizing the utilization of zakat. One form of zakat that has great potential to be optimized is income zakat or professional zakat. According to the Pekanbaru Baznas, the potential for zakat could reach Rp90 billion. The method of data analysis in this study is to use a binary logistic regression model. This method was chosen because it is a standard analytical method when the outcome variable is dichotomous and is measured with a value of 1 or 0, where 1 = decision to pay professional zakat and 0 = decision not to pay professional zakat. The results of this study are the income variable has a positive and significant effect on Muzakki's decision to pay professional zakat in Pekanbaru City, which is 35.6%. However, the role of the government and the role of the ulama have no significant effect on Muzakki's decision to pay professional zakat in Pekanbaru City. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the variables of income, the role of the government, and the role of the ulama together have a significant effect, but partially the role of the government and the role of the ulama have no significant effect on Muzakki's decision to pay professional zakat in Pekanbaru City. <![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pajak daerah dan retribusi daerah terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Kota Pekanbaru selama periode 2011–2024. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif asosiatif. Data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) dan instansi pemerintah terkait. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial, pajak daerah berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Kota Pekanbaru sedangkan retribusi daerah tidak berpengaruh dan tidak terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Kota Pekanbaru. Secara simultan, pajak daerah dan retribusi daerah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi.]]>

<![CDATA[The role of women is crucial in the family. This is because women play many roles within the family. Women not only act as housewives but also play a role in helping the family economy and managing family finances. In managing family finances, it is crucial for women to have a good understanding of financial literacy. The purpose of this community service activity is to improve the financial literacy of women in Logas Village. This community service activity is carried out through lectures and training methods on the importance of financial literacy. This is done by providing information on the importance of financial literacy, financial management practices, and also discussing developments in financial digitalization. This activity targets women in Logas Village, Singingi District. This counseling activity is expected to help women who participate in the activity understand the importance of managing their finances and understand the principles of good financial management. Furthermore, the increasing ease of obtaining online loans, which results in poor financial management, will have an effect on dependence on loans, both direct and online. Therefore, counseling and financial literacy training are needed so that women in Logas Village, both married and single, can avoid unhealthy financial risks.]]>

<![CDATA[The existence of women-owned MSMEs makes a significant contribution to improving the local economy and community welfare. However, in managing MSMEs, women entrepreneurs also face challenges in supporting business sustainability, both internal and external challenges. This study aims to analyze the relationship between financial inclusion and the sustainability of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) managed by women in Pekanbaru City. This research was conducted using a quantitative approach by providing questionnaires to respondents. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The data analysis technique used was Partial Least Square (PLS). The test results show that digital literacy has a direct influence on financial inclusion, while government support, financial literacy, and education have a direct influence on the sustainability of women's MSMEs in Pekanbaru City. Furthermore, it was also found that there was no indirect influence moderated by the financial inclusion variable. So financial inclusion is not a variable that is able to connect financial literacy, digital literacy, education and government support for the sustainability of women's MSMEs in Pekanbaru City.]]>
