Abstract

 The research was motivated by the complaints of the employees about job rotation in Manfaat Group Company Kabupaten Semarang. In addition, in the last one year, there was increasing of product reject quality control, another case about decreasing of company performance in last thee years. The aim of this research is conducted to determine the influence of job rotation, job supervision and compensation to company performance through motivation in Manfaat Group Company Kabupaten Semarang.The population is all of employees of flour production division with 102 samples. The analysis used in this research is the Partial Least Square (PLS) using software SmartPLS 2.0 M3 for Windows, which previously tested the validity and reliability first.Based on calculations show that variable job rotation have an influence to motivation, variable job supervision have an influence to motivation, variable compensation have an influence to motivation, variable motivation have an influence to job performance, variable job rotation have an influence to job performance and variable compensation have an influence to job performance.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of product quality, brand image, product price and advertising on purchase decisions of Honda Revo motorcycle on consumer Astra Motor Kebumen and type of research used for this research is explanatory. Population is not limited to any consumer that Honda Revo motorcycle purchaser at Astra Motor Kebumen, as the Slovin’s theory,  sample set only by 86 people with spreading use of Non-Probability Sampling methods (insidental sampling). Data were analyzed using the coefficient of determination test, simple and multiple linear regression, cross tables and tests of significance with SPSS 18.0. The results showed that the product quality influence purchase decisions of 7.1 percent. Variables affect the brand image on purchasing decisions by 6 percent. Variable rates affect purchase decisions by 12.8 percent. Advertising influence the purchasing decisions of by 19.2 percent. Simultaneously, product quality, brand image, product price, and advertising affect purchasing decisions at 34.6 percent. The conclusion is the product quality, brand image, price, and advertising have positively and significant impact on purchasing decisions at Honda Revo motorcycle as evidenced from the results of the test f count (10.699) > f table (3.1079). If four factors are synergically balanced, the product will get a high level of consumer purchases will positively impact  in company sustainability.

Abstract

In conducting its operational activities, Nyonya Meneer Semarang would want a good performance of the workers, especially the marketing. However this is not easy because the employees performance is affected by many factors. These factors include career development programs such as training and job mutation and other factors such as motivation.          The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of career development program in the form of training and mutation of work and motivation on employee performance of marketing Nyonya Meneer Semarang. This type of research is an explanatory research, with questionnaires, the study of literature and interviews. Tests carried out to employees of marketing with a population of 38 people using census method. This study used a qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques. Quantitative analysis using validity test, reliability test, simple and multiple regression analysis, the coefficient of determination, the significance test (t test and F test) with SPSS version 20.0 software for .          The results showed that the career development program through training and job mutation (X1), and motivation (X2), partially or simultaneously affect employee performance (Y) marketing. Motivation has a greater impact in influencing the performance of employees compared to the career development program.          Based on the results of this study, researchers gave advice to the Nyonya Meneer Semarang to pay more attention to theaspects of justice when providing employment mutation, and appreciation to the employees have the achievements that the performance of employees in marketing could be better.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the influence of organizational culture, self-actualization, and esteem to employee performance of PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) DAOP IV Semarang. The sample method is census of the entire population of 110 respondents was sampled. The author used SPSS 16.0 program to test the regression on the data analysis. The result it can be concluded partially that the variabels has positive influence and significant to employee performance. Organizational culture on the employee performance by during t test (5,772) > t table (1,659). Self-actualization on the employee performance by during t test (5,772) > t table (1,659), and esteem on the employee performance by during t test (7,325) > t table (1,659). Simultaneously, these variabels have a positive influence and significant on the employee performance with the result of F-test (27,262) > F-table (2,690). To improve employee performance, PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) DAOP IV Semarang shall be improving the innovating potency of employee, open up opportunities for employee to take education and training, and increasing rewards.

Abstract

Brand loyalty became measurement of how much customer possibility will move to other brand. It was the one brand equity element related to profit in the future. Brand loyalty assured customer won't change to competitor's brand, although that brand give cheaper price or better quality. Competition within transportation especially motorcycle, compelled producer created various brand and models to attract customer. Satisfaction and loyalty effort to customer always followed by evaluation to satisfaction level and loyalty reached by costumer. It was needed company management  in order to determine marketing strategy which will used in the future properly. This research aimed to found how much influence of product quality, promotion and distribution system to brand distribution measured through customer satisfaction. Population from this research was motorcycle user of Yamaha Mio who joint within Yamaha Mio Semarang Club (YMSC) about 80 persons. This study include within census research, according to Arikunto Suharsini (1996:115) whereas including all of population members as research subject. Measurement scale used scale Likert. Within data analysis used simple linear regression test, double regression test and path analysis by SPSS 16.0 program.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the escalation of public interest of going abroad byusing airpane as the transportation means. The purpose of this research is to determine thedirect influence and indirect influence between Customer Relationship Management variableand Service quality variable as x variable to customer loyalty as y variable through customersatisfaction as z variable.. The result shows Customer Relationship Management does not havedirect influence to customer loyalty 0.651. Customer satisfaction has direct influence tocustomer loyalty 2.773. Service quality has direct influence to customer loyalty 2.093.Customer relationship management has direct influence to customer satisfaction 2.009.Service quality has direct influence to customer satisfaction with 6.587. The sobel test resultshows there is no influence between Customer Relationship Management to customer loyaltythrough customer satisfaction 1.571. There is direct influence of service quality to customerloyalty through customer satisfaction 2.532. The suggestion is Garuda Indonesia shouldincrease the CRM system and increasing the service quality

Abstract

PT. Njonja Meneer is one of the companies engaged in the herbal industry in Indonesia. Today competition in the herbal industry is highly competitive. Therefore, PT. Njonja Meneer must continue to improve its marketing strategy to the level of consumer purchasing decisions continues to increase. The strategies include the following with concern to product pricing strategies, creating a good brand image, positioning the right, and the diversity of the company's product differentiation. If four things are going well then the automatic level purchasing decisions of consumers will increase. This research aimed to determine the effect of price, brand image, positioning and product differentiation on consumer purchasing decisions on medicinal products PT. Njonja Meneer. The population is not limited to any consumer product that is herbal PT. Njonja Meneer ever made ​​a purchase at Pondok Jamu Njonja Meneer Depok-Semarang, arguing Fraenkel set Wallen sample of 100 people by spreading using the Nonprobability Sampling (Accidental Sampling). Collecting data using interviews with the help of questionnaires that have been through the instrument validity and reliability. Data were analyzed with qualitative and quantitative analysis using the coefficient of determination test, simple and multiple linear regression, cross tables and tests of significance with SPSS 18.0. The results show that variable rates affect consumer purchasing decisions of 36 percent. Variables affect the brand image on purchase decisions of consumers by 23,2 percent. Variable positioning influence consumer purchasing decisions at 38,2 percent. Variable product differentiation affects consumer purchasing decisions at 38,5 percent. Taken together price, brand image, positioning, and product differentiation affect consumer purchasing decisions by 21 percent. The conclusion is the price, brand image, positioning, and product differentiation have a positive and significant impact on consumer purchasing decisions on medicinal products PT. Njonja Meneer as evidenced from the results of the test f count (6.331)> f table (2.309). Bottom line if four factors are balanced the synergism of herbal products Njonja Meneer will get high levels of consumer purchases that will be a positive influence on survival.

Abstract

The development of transportation and bussines competition is increasing rapidly. They compete in providing the best service to achieve customer satisfaction. This study aims to determine the level of customer satisfaction over service quality and price of PT. Garuda Indonesia Airlines (Persero), Tbk Branch Office Semarang, that seen from the dimension of service quality consisiting of the attributes of reliability, responsiveness, assurance, emphaty, tangible and dimension of price. Type of study is qualitative descriptive. The population in this study were all customers of Garuda Indonesia Airlines, the sample of 100 respondents who used the technique accidental sampling and purposive sampling, Analysis of the data used in this study is the Importance and performance Analysis (Analysis of Importance and Performance / Satisfaction). Based on the Importance and Performance Analysis, then the conclusion that the average total for the dimension of quality of service is 89,10% include in the category are satisfied and the average total price for the dimension is 86,06% include in the category are quite satisfied. Advice can be given to the company is improving the performance of the fantasy world of service which are considered important by the customers, but still less attention from businesses

Abstract

This study aimed to test the influence of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) on the customer loyalty of PT. Nasmoco Pemuda Semarang. The population of this study are 100 customers who use the repair shop service of PT. Nasmoco Pemuda Semarang. The author used SPSS 15.0 program to test the regression on the data analysis. And the study results indicates that CRM has a positive and significant influence on the loyalty customers, with the coefficient of determination is 46%. Results of this study indicate that in order to enhance the customer loyalty, PT. Nasmoco Pemuda Semarang should consider the CRM factors consisting of human resources, process and technology. Required intense interaction with the customers through  the customer retention program, as well as good quality of customer service by the employees.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of job skills, compensation and work discipline on the performance of nurses. The population of this research is warn nurse in public unit section at Sultan Agung Islamic Hospital Semarang and researchers took a sample of 122 nurses. In linear regression analysis was used and the significance test using SPSS 20.0. From the data analysis it can be concluded that in partial, job skills has a positive effect on the performance of 26,6%, the compensationvariable has a positive influence on the performance behavior of 15,3%, and work discipline variable has positive effect on behavioral performance of 12,2%. Simultaneously job skills, compensation, and work discipline variable has a positive effect on the performance by 31,9%. Based on the research results, the researchers suggest that hospitals improve nursing skills in making decisions relating to nursing task followed by giving them profession allowance according to their expectation and educational status, and the relation with the discipline of work is the starting time, so the performances of the nurse can be increased optimally.
