Abstract

This study aims to describe: (1) the structure of the folklore of the Batu Manda legend in Negarian Sungai Talang, Guguak sub-district, Fifty-City District, (2) the social function of the folklore of the Batu Manda legend in Negarian Sungai Talang, Guguak sub-district, Fifty-City District. This type of research is research on local folklore legends using descriptive methods. The data in this study are the legendary folklore of Batu Manda in the Talang River Negarian, Guguak subdistrict, Fifty City District. Data were collected from informants through two stages, namely: (1) the stage of recording the legend of Batu Manda folklore, and (2) the stage of collecting data about the storytelling environment. Data about the storytelling environment were collected by recording, observation, and interview techniques. The data in this research were analyzed in four stages, namely: (1) the data identification stage, data collected from informants were identified through the data transliteration stage; (2) data classification or data analysis stage; (3) stage of discussion or conclusion of classification results or data analysis; (4) reporting stage. There are two findings in this research. First, the structure of the folklore of the Batu Manda legend in Negaraan Sungai Talang, Guguak sub-district, Fifty-City Regency, consists of: style of language, characters and characterizations, setting, plot, theme, message. Second, the function of the folklore of the Batu Manda legend in Nagari Sungai Talang, Guguak District, Fifty Cities Regency, consists of entertaining and educating. Entertaining and educational. Based on these findings, it turns out that folklore in the form of legends is still an oral literature that is highly trusted by the local community to this day.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe: (1) the forms of social conflict contained in Dadang Ari Murtono’s Samaran novel, (2) the causes of social conflict in Dadang Ari Murtono’s Samaran novel, (3) the impact of social conflict in Dadang Ari’s Samaran novel Murtono. This research is literary research and the method used in this research is descriptive method. The data in this study consist of words, phrases, clauses and sentences that describe the forms, causes and impacts of social conflict. Novel Samaran by Dadang Ari Murtono is the source of data in this study. The data collection stage in research begins with reading and understanding the novel, marking every utterance or words of each character and narrator or writer in the novel relating to the data being studied, to inventorying data related to the research problem. The triangulation technique is the technique used in this study. Data analysis was carried out in stages starting from classifying the data, then analyzing the data and interpreting the data, up to the stage of concluding the results of the research and writing a report on the results of the analysis. Based on the research that has been done, the research results obtained are: (1) the form of social conflict in the novel Samaran by Dadang Ari Murtono is in the form of conflict between religious believers, conflict between groups, and conflict between individuals. (2) The causes of social conflict in the novel Samaran Karya Dadang Ari Murtono are caused by differences between individuals, differences in social class, differences in interests, and social change. (3) The impact of social conflict in the novel Samaran by Dadang Ari Murtono includes the destruction of group unity, personality changes, and the destruction of social values ​​and norms.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang berjudul “Pemanfaatan Template Surat Otomatis dalam Kegiatan Surat Menyurat pada Dinas Pendidikan Pemuda dan Olahraga Kabupaten Solok” bertujuan mengembangkan wawasan literasi digital yang mencakup kemampuan untuk menggunakan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, mengenali dan menilai kebenaran informasi, serta memahami hak dan tanggung jawab dalam penggunaan teknologi. Adapun tahapan-tahapan yang direncanakan pada kegiatan PKM ini antara lain: (1) persiapan materi pelatihan dengan menggunakan modul berisi penjelasan mengenai surat dinas; (2) penggandaan dan distribusi modul kepada khalayak sasaran; (3) penyajian materi sesuai dengan modul dan cara penyajian dilakukan dengan metode ceramah dibantu dengan media power point, diskusi kelompok kecil dan paripurna; (4) tutorial pelatihan dengan bimbingan individual berupa penerapan pelaksanaan penulisan surat dengan menggunakan template otomatis, (5) pelatihan penyusunan arsip di dalam aplikasi; dan (6) evaluasi dan refleksi kegiatan. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan menulis surat pegawai Disdikpora Kabupaten Solok. Oleh sebab itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan pemanfaatan template surat otomatis pada kegaiatan surat menyurat pada Disdikpora kabupaten Solok memiliki dampak positif, mudah, dan praktis.

Abstract

This research is motivated by a lack of teacher attention in managing literary appreciation learning with evidence of the lack of completeness of the assessment tools in the teacher's lesson plans. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to develop an authentic assessment model to measure the achievement of basic competence (KD) in learning the ability to appreciate literary texts (drama) for the class XI 2013 curriculum at the SMA/MA/SMK level, which focused on psychomotor and affective domains which were the focus of learning achievement on literary appreciation by first perform needs analysis, KD analysis, material analysis, and student analysis. To achieve the objectives of this study, the theory of assessment and authentic assessment was used; learning theory and development of learning device models; literary and educational theory; and learning theory of the ability to appreciate literary texts. The design implications for the development of this model refer to the 4-D model suggested by Thiagarajan, Semel and Semel (1974) which consists of 4 stages, namely define, design, develop and disseminate. The type of research is R D development research. The data of this research consists of two groups, namely qualitative data in the form of assessment model development tools, and quantitative data in the form of achievement scores of performance tasks with authentic instruments whose limited trials and dissemination were carried out in Senior High School in Padang city. The result of the research is an assessment model that is based on social cognitive learning theory, constructivism, and meaningful learning, learning syntax that focuses on students with representative assessment tools. The results of testing the assessment tool which consisted of 10 types of instruments were concluded to be able to measure the level and type of appreciation of students' literature with a "Good" qualification.

Abstract

Folklore as a source of cultural information for a community group needs to be studied, which then needs to be introduced and socialized to other community groups. Legends have the potential and role as cultural treasures. Legends also have educational value that can be appreciated, pondered and appreciated. This research aims to describe the categories and structure of legends in Nagari Sungai Limau, Dharmasraya Regency and the implications for learning. This type of research is qualitative using descriptive methods. The source of research data is a legend in Nagari Sungai Limau, Dharmasraya Regency. Research data collection techniques use observation, data, interviews and data techniques. Data analysis techniques are carried out by classifying or grouping data, analyzing categories and legend structures, drawing conclusions from the entire research work process, and compiling and reporting research results. The results of the research are: first, there are two categories of legends, namely local legends consisting of the Lubuk Tagadih legend and Lubuk Tosau legend and supernatural world legends consisting of Wang Binun (Binun People) and the Plisit legend. Second, the structure of legends in Nagari Sungai Limau, Dharmasraya Regency generally contains theme, plot, characters, setting and message. Third, the implication in learning is in the Basic Competency that it examines the structure and language of local fables/legends that are read and listened to. Therefore, the current study can be concluded that a category includes local legends and supernatural legends, the structure of the legend which includes theme, plot, characters, setting, and message.

Abstract

This research aim to describe a textological study of the issue of how the Hikayat Si Miskin manuscript text from the Harvad University - Houghton Library/ ms_Indo_18-METS collection was translated into handwritten Arabic-Malay script, the appearance of which is much different from the standard form of the letters of this script. This is the most important part in the textological study of the subfield of philology before the editing of texts from the old Malay Arabic-Malay script into Latin script is presented. His identity as the author is not included at the front of his work, but at the end of the manuscript called the colophon. The presentation of a text that has been cleaned of all writing errors paves the way for further study of the content of the text from various aspects related to the existence of the form and content of the text being studied, such as a study of the structural content of the text, a study of linguistic aspects, a study of social values. and culture, it is even possible to examine historical elements, because manuscripts are historical documents that describe the life systems and patterns of old society. The method used to discuss text issues and content that can be studied in various related scientific disciplines is the standard text criticism method, namely a philological method that attempts to re-present classical texts by criticizing and correcting corrupt texts. In accordance with the focus of the discussion which focuses on writing and visual text writing, the research results found writing irregularities and errors in writing lacunae, substitutions, additions, transpositions, dittography, and haplography. The most common writing errors are substitution errors.
