Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the characteristics of the AC-BC mixture where the materiaI used came from the Sadang River rock, Batupapan Sub-district, MakaIe District, which went through a Iaboratory testing process. In the Iaboratory, the tests carried out incIude testing the characteristics of the aggregate, which in this test can be further divided into 3 tests, nameIy testing the characteristics of coarse aggregate, fine aggregate and fiIIer. After the aggregate characteristic test is carried out, the next test is the asphaIt characteristic test. Then do the design of the composition of the mixture in such a way as to get the totaI mixture to be made of the test object which is processed through ConventionaI MarshaII testing which aims to make KAO test objects. The KAO specimen that has been tested wiII be worked on to obtain the Remaining MarshaII StabiIity. From the MarshaII test resuIts, it was found that the vaIue for the characteristics of asphaIt was 5% to 7% which had passed the test based on the predetermined standard, nameIy the Bina Marga standard. So the use of aggregates from the Sadang River can be used for testing asphaIt mixtures. The yieId of residuaI MarshaII StabiIity (SMS) of 97.78% was obtained from the MarshaII immersion test and the optimum asphaIt content for AC-BC used was 6%. The concIusion that can be drawn is that the use of aggregates from the Sadang River, Batupapan Sub-district, MakaIe District, Tana Toraja meets the GeneraI Specifications of the 2018 Highways Specifications to become a materiaI that can be used in road pavement.

Abstract

One of the uses of Coconut Coir as a paved mixture, currently has been widely used a variety of added ingredients to mixtures. This study is intended to find out the characteristics of AC-BC mixtures that use coconut coir added ingredients and also to find out the AC-BC mixture. The method used is conventional Marshall immersion obtained ac-BC mixture with coconut coir content as a added material that is 0%, 1%, 2%, 3%, 4% with asphalt content of 5%. As for the characteristic influence on each mixed composition, if the level of Coconut Coir increases, then the stability value is obtained 1300.74-2354.10 and VFB 72.28-75.70 which is increasing, while for vim values 4.18-3.52, flow 3.50-2.33 and VMA 15.08-14.49 which decreases. From the test results it can be concluded that the AC-BC mixture using the added ingredients of Kelapa Cout has fulfilled the general specification of bina marga 2018.

Abstract

The utilization of Osu Lombebua mountain rock aggregate, South Konawe Regency has not been optimally utilized as a material in road pavement, especially in the Aus Layer Laston, starting from a problem, it is necessary to conduct research by conducting a series of characteristic tests with reference to the 2018 Highways Specification Standard. The characteristics of the Aus Layer Laston mixture by utilizing the rock aggregates of Mount Osu Lombebua, by knowing the characteristics of the aggregate, asphalt, and filler, then designing the composition of the mixture and making a test object in the form of Aus Layer Laston and the test Marshall Conventional for determining KAO after that making KAO test objects for Stability Marshall Time (SMS). The results of the study indicate that the characteristics of the pavement material in the form of rock aggregates of Mount Osu Lombebua, South Konawe Regency have met the General specifications of the Directorate General of Highways 2018. Based on the test of the characteristics of the mixture, Marshall Conventionalthe values of Stability, flow, Void In Mix (VIM), Void In Mix Aggregate (VMA), and Foid Filled Bitumen (VFB) all meet the General Specifications of Highways 2018. Marshall Immersion test (Stability Marshall Remaining) on a mixture of meets the General Specifications of Highways 2018, where the value of Stability Marshall Remaining is 96,78 ≥ 90%.

Abstract

In bending pavements, it is necessary to know the level of durability of a concrete asphalt mixture against its durability value, for example, it is often seen in road pavements now the level of durability or durability value is minimal this is due to factors from weather such as rain, then the pavement becomes easily cracked. Therefore, the Lawaoo River stone is used in Lalabata District, which is one of the rivers in Soppeng Regency, which functions as material collection in soppeng regency itself. The use of this material is used by local communities as building construction materials because the material is used more efficiently in terms of cost. The test method carried out is the Marshall test with the intention of obtaining the Stability and Flow values used to obtain the Durability value. The average durability value at each 12-hour soaking; 24 hours; 36 hours; 48 hours; and 60 hours is 97.59%-84.70%. In terms of soaking results, it is concluded that the lowest AC-BC mixed test object from 12 hours to 36 hours is still at the durability value limit (97.59%-90.00%) and 48 hours to 60 hours has passed the minimum durability value limit (89.99%-84.70%).

Abstract

One of the factors that can reduce the level of traffic performance is an increase in vehicle volume and side barriers on the road. Along the pam Inspection road there are traditional shopping centers so that the area is full of community activities, this causes traffic problems that cause congestion. This study aims to decide the traffic flow and the crash of side barriers on the level of drench on the pump inspection road. Data assembly was carried out for three days. The data collected included prime data and secondary data, where prime data was obtained from direct surveys in the field by collecting traffic volume data, side obstacle data, vehicle speed data and road geometric data. While secondary data, namely population data, then data processing was carried out using the 2014 Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI). Monday with a total of 1292.9 events/hour, the degree of saturation obtained is 0.91, and the actual speed obtained in each segment is 5.85 km/hour in segment 1 and 4,356 in segment 2 where the traffic flow is experiencing congestion. and vehicle movement speed is controlled during peak hours.

Abstract

Parking does not escape the area of the hospital area, so it is not complete if the hospital is not equipped with a parking lot. When the parking characteristics have been met, it will make it easier for employees and visitors to park their vehicles, both two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles. Analysis of parking characteristics, availability, and demand in hospitals. Bhayangkara Makassar is the aim of this research. This study uses direct field surveys as its methodology for obtaining vehicle data. From this data will be analyzed to obtain data on parking capacity, parking volume, parking accumulation, parking duration, parking index, availability and demand for parking space. The results revealed that there were parking spaces up to 54 and 84 vehicles per hour for motorbikes and cars, 620 cars and 1,025 vehicles, each maximum parking volume, the highest parking accumulation of 4,072 vehicles and 9,745 vehicles, the vehicle parking duration ranged from 1-2 hours for both, parking index of 109.20% and 102.43%, the availability of maximum parking is 466 vehicles/hour. According to the parking characteristics, it can be concluded that the current parking area is not sufficient to accommodate the number of parked vehicles.
