Abstract

Abstract: Gender equality is a discourse that is still warm to be discussed by Muslim feminists. Initiators and supporters of gender equality often questioned about Islamic laws that were considered to be unfair since they had positioned men and women differently such as the obligotary for  adhan (call for prayer), the Friday prayers, the number of goats in aqiqah (welcoming celebretion of child’s birth), and the compulsory of breastfeeding and caring for the child. Through content analysis, this study tried not only to elaborate a number of products of reintepretation based on Qur'anic Hermeneutics version of the female models but also show the history of the ideology of feminism and the inappropriateness of using hermeneutical exegesis. Feminism departed from the ideology of hatred as a form of resistance against the oppression of women that occurred in Western Christian civilization in th past. Hermeneutical exegesis approach also came from an academic Christian tradition that considered Bible text not as a God’s revelation. Both conditions were diametrically opposed to the fact in the Islamic tradition. The text of the Qur’an in Islam, was not a cultural product, but as a revelation of God to human being in the world. Historically,  Islam never surpressed to women, but it placed women in a glorious position. Meanwhile, different roles given to men and women were aimed at getting maximum benefits to the world so that they could work together and complement each other to achieve happiness in the world and the hereafter.الملخص :أصبح موضوع المساواة بين الرجل والمرأة موضوع حديث حارّ بين نساء النسوية المسلمات. قد تتسائل مؤسِّسات المذهب النسوي ومؤيّدوها الشريعة الإسلامية التي – في نظرهن – لم تكن عادلة وتضع الرجل والمرأة في مستوى ومكان غير متواز ، مثل مشروعية الأذان وأداء صلاة الجمعة للرجال وعدد الغنم في العقيقة مختلف بينهما، وتكليف حضانة الأولاد ورعايتهم على النساء. حاولت هذه الدراسة – عن طريق تحليل المضمون ليس فقط دراسة نتائج من إعادة تفسير القرآن بنمط الهرمينيطيقا لدى النساء بل عرضت كذلك تاريخ إيديولوجية النسوية وعدم صحة استخدام التفسير الهرمينيطقي في هذا المجال. اعتمدت النسوية على إيديولوجية الكره والحقد كشكل معارضات على أنواع الظلم تجاه المرأة في المجتمع الغربي المسيحي في القرون الماضية. وأصل التفسير الهرمينيطقي  كذلك من التقاليد الأكاديمية المسيحية المعتبرة أن الإنجيل ليس وحيا يوحي. هذان الشيئان متناقضان بما في الإسلام من أن القرآن ليس انتاجا ثقافيا بل وحي من الله. ليس في الإسلام التاريخ عن ظلم الرأة بل هو وضعها في مرتبة رفيعة. أم تفريق الدور بينهما ليس إلا ليكون كل منهما نافعا في هذه الدنيا ويتعاونان ويتكاملان للحصول على السعادتين في الدنيا والآخرة.Abstrak: Kesetaraan gender merupakan diskursus yang tetap hangat diperbincangkan para feminis muslim. Penggagas dan pendukung kesetaraan gender tidak jarang mempersoalkan hukum Islam yang dianggap kurang adil dan memposisikan laki-laki dan perempuan secara berbeda seperti pembebanan adzan, shalat Jum’at, jumlah kambing saat aqi>qah di satu sisi, dan pembebanan menyusui dan merawat anak di sisi yang lain. Melalui content analysis kajian ini mencoba tidak saja untuk mengelaborasi sejumlah produk reintepretasi al-Qur’an model Hermeneutika versi kaum perempuan tetapi juga menunjukkan sejarah ideologi feminisme serta ketidaktepatan penggunaan tafsir hermeneutika. Feminisme berangkat dari ideologi kebencian sebagai bentuk perlawanan terhadap penindasan perempuan yang terjadi dalam peradaban Barat-Kristen di masa lalu. Metode tafsir Hermeneutika juga berasal dari tradisi akademis Kristen yang menganggap teks Bible bukan sebagai wahyu. Kedua kondisi ini berseberangan secara diametral dengan fakta dalam tradisi Islam. Teks al-Qur’an, dalam Islam, bukanlah produk budaya, melainkan wahyu. Islam tidak memiliki sejarah penindasan terhadap kaum perempuan, bahkan memposisikan perempuan dalam posisi yang mulia. Perbedaan peran yang diberikan kepada laki-laki dan perempuan ditujukan agar keduanya dapat bermanfaat secara maksimal di dunia, untuk saling bekerja sama dan melengkapi demi mencapai kebahagiaan dunia dan akhirat.Keywords: kesetaraan, gender, perempuan, feminisme, tafsir, hermeneutik.

Abstract

Indigenous women in Indonesia have long practiced ecological management and sustainable resource use, deeply embedded in their cultural beliefs, traditional wisdom, and strong connection to the land. However, their specific ecological practices have been the subject of limited research, especially compared to broader studies of the relationship between gender and ethnicity in sectors such as mining. These existing studies often highlight negative impacts on women in general but focus less on the specific practices of indigenous women, especially in relation to their contributions to biodiversity conservation and sustainable use of natural resources. Recognizing this gap, this research aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of the ecological practices of indigenous women in various regions of Indonesia, focusing on their role in environmental conservation and sustainable development. The motivation for this research is to understand how these practices, shaped by cultural, traditional, and land-based relationships, contribute to ecological management and provide lessons for sustainable living. To achieve this, this study used a systematic literature review. The literature review will involve a comprehensive examination of existing academic literature, using databases such as JSTOR, Scopus, and local Indonesian research repositories. Literature selection criteria will include relevance to indigenous practices, focus on ecological management, and contribution to biodiversity conservation. Although specific findings have not been presented, the study expects to reveal a wide variety of indigenous ecological practices. This is expected to include traditional methods of land and resource management, contributions to the resilience of local ecosystems, and sustainable practices passed down from generation to generation. This study aims to highlight the important role of indigenous women in maintaining biodiversity and adapting to environmental change. A multidimensional approach that considers the institutionalization of gender and ethnicity in mining governance, as well as the role of gender and ethnic identity, will be adopted. The findings from this literature review and field study will make a significant contribution to our understanding of the rich ecological knowledge and practices of indigenous women in Indonesia. They will also highlight the importance of incorporating these practices into broader conservation and sustainability efforts, providing policy recommendations for a more inclusive and holistic environmental approach.

Abstract

Al-Attas revealed that the challenge of this century is the degradation of knowledge so that humans can no longer distinguish between truth and falsehood (the loss of civilization). The science that is falsified, or used as tools and materials of indoctrination for the benefit of personal passions, is precisely by the scientists themselves. The root of this problem is not related to the problem of illiteracy or ignorance of ordinary people, but the existence of misinterpreted science, or the chaos of science due to the imitation of the Western view whose construct is far different from the Islamic worldview. This research analyzes the educational concept of Syed Naquib Al-Attas. As a result, there are three magnificent concepts from al-Attas's thought which subsequently known as the concept of Islamization of science, i.e: semantic analysis – linguistics which is used as a solid argument to support opinions, mastery of Islamic and Western treasures, and wisdom in seeing the ulama and Islam of the Malays.

Abstract

Low spiritual quotient is increasingly observed among teenagers, including at SMA IT Al-Madinah. Even though the school has a sufficient curriculum and facilities, however, the quality of learning of Islamic religious education subject is crucial for enhacing students’ spiritual quotient. This study aims to assess the quality of learning, the level of spiritual quotient and the influence learning of Islamic religious education subjects on students' spiritual quotient in class XI at SMA IT Al-Madinah. The research employs a quantitative survey method with data collection through questionnaires. Data analysis includes validity and reliability tests, followed by normality and homogeneity tests, and finally hypothesis testing using simple linear regression. The results indicate that: (1) The quality of Islamic religious education subject learning is categorized as fairly good, with an interval range of 62.442 ≤ Xi < 73.158, meaning 50 out of 71 respondents, or 70.4%, rated it positively. (2) The level of students' spiritual quotient in class XI falls within an interval range of 56.920 ≤ Xi < 67.160, indicating that 52 out of 71 respondents, or 73.2%, are in the moderate category. (3) Simple linear regression testing shows a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05 with an R Square value of 0.332, indicating that The Influence of Learning of Islamic Religious Education Subject on The Spiritual Quotient of Grade XI Students at SMA IT Al-Madinah by 33,2%.

Abstract

The current educational curriculum in Indonesia pays great attention to fostering the character of students, especially through the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers. However, the reality in the field shows that the character of students is declining, so PAI teachers are often the ones to blame for the failure. This study aims to determine the efforts made by PAI teachers in fostering the character of class X students at SMAN 10 Bogor, as well as the foundation used in the coaching process. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of character building is done through three approaches, namely prevention, development, and healing efforts. PAI teachers are active in providing guidance, creating a conducive environment, and providing motivation and further coaching for problematic students. The main foundation in the character building process is Merdeka Curriculum, which allows strengthening of character values and habituation through more flexible learning. In conclusion, PAI teachers play an important role in fostering students' character, but require support from various parties for optimal results.

Abstract

Education is a fundamental aspect of students' character formation and intelligence. One of the subjects that plays an important role in shaping historical understanding and Islamic values is the subject of SKI. However, in practice, history learning often faces various obstacles, both in terms of learning methods, student involvement and material understanding. This research aims to find out the influence of Mind Mapping media in improving students' learning outcomes in Islamic cultural history subjects at MAN 2 Bogor City. The method used in this study was quantitative by using an experimental approach with the design of the Quasi Experimental Design (Experimental All) using the Pre-Test Post-Test Non-Equivalent Control Design Group consisting of a control group and an experimental group treated differently. Research results: 1) using Mind Mapping media has a significant effect in improving student learning outcomes on the material of the History of Islamic Kingdoms in Java at MAN 2 Bogor City. This is indicated by the results of the t-test with a significance result of 0.011. 2) The effectiveness of Mind Mapping media is proven by the results of the N-Gain increase obtained in the control class by the less effective category. While in the control class it is quite effective.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan, efktivitas serta faktor yang mempengaruhi pembelajaran kita Ta’limul Muta’allim dalam meningkatkan akhlakul karimah santri. Kitab Ta’limul Muta’allim adalah salah satu rujukan yang digunakan dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai moral. Latar belakang penelitian ini untuk membentuk peserta didik yang berakhlakul karimah sesuai dengan tujuan pendidikan islam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran kitab Ta’limul Muta’allim yang dilaksanakan satu minggu sekali memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan akhlakul karimah peserta didik. Efektivitas pembelajaran kitab Ta’limul Muta’allim dipengaruhi oleh metode pembelajaran, lingkungan pesantren serta pengawasan dan keteladanan yang diberikan oleh para ustadz ustadzah di pesantren
