Abstract

Gunung Merapi merupakan salah satu dari 129 gunungapi aktif di Indonesia yang sering meletus. Pada 26 Oktober 2010 Gunung Merapi mengalami erupsi kembali. Bencana ini merupakan yang terbesar dibandingkan dengan bencana serupa dalam lima periode waktu sebelumnya yakni tahun 1994, 1997, 1998, 2001 dan 2006. Dampak lanjutan erupsi Gunung Merapi yaitu lahar dingin, berpotensi merusak bangunan-bangunan yang terdapat di sungai-sungai yang berhulu di Gunung Merapi,seperti jembatan. Salah satu sungai yang berhulu di lereng Gunung Merapi adalah sungai Boyong dimana hilir alur sungai ini melintasi tengah kota Yogyakarta yang dilintasi 19 jembatan, 8 jembatan melintasi sungai Boyong dan 11 jembatan melintasi sungai Code yang merupakan bagian dari sungai Boyong sebagai induk sungainya. Oleh karena itu penting untuk dilakukan evaluasi kondisi existing jembatan pasca erupsi Gunung Merapi.Adanya keterbatasan dana yang disediakan oleh Pemerintah dalam upaya memulihkan fungsi dan kondisi jembatan dalam satu alur sungai, menjadi penyebab perlunya penyusunan skala prioritas, guna menentukan jembatan yang harus ditangani/diperbaiki terlebih dahulu

Abstract

Seiring perubahan statuta IAIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya menjadi UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya secara signifikan membawa perubahan besar terhadap keberadaan salah satu kampus berbasis agama islam tertua di Indonesia.Bertambahnya jumlah program studi sebagai bentuk manifestasi dari statuta tersebut diiringi juga dengan semakin bertambahnya jumlah mahasiswa yang melanjutkan studi di UINSunan Ampel Surabaya. Bertambahnya jumlah mahasiswa secara signifikan juga bertambah pula ruang parkir untuk kendaraan mahasiswa. Hasil analisis data survei parkir di kampus UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya pada tanggal 22 November 2016 menunjukkan kebutuhan total ruang parkir seluas 3.615 m2 dengan rincian 4.264 m2untuk parkir sepeda motor dan 3.615m2untuk parkir mobil. Dengan demikian, kebutuhan ruang parkir di tahun 2020 dengan lajuĀ  pertumbuhan penduduk kampus dari 14.898 orang (pada tahun 2016) menjadi 22.712 orang (pada tahun 2020) dan persentase penduduk kampus yang membawa kendaraan sebanyak 27%, diperkirakan kebutuhan total ruang parkir menjadi seluas 16.634 m2 dengan rincian 8.379 m2untuk parkir sepeda motor dan 8.255m2untuk parkir mobil, belum termasuk ruang mobilisasi parkir kendaraan.

Abstract

The image characteristics of a city can be seen from it main streets corridor display. One of the aspects that affected the image was related to the parking spaces and street vendors arrangement. Gajah Mada street corridor as one of the main corridor in Sidoarjo City, its main activity was highly influenced by formal and informal commercial activities. Besides having a positive impact, the informal commercial sector also gave a negative impact for the corridor area.The Street vendors have occupied the sidewalk which had lead to pedestrian spatial activities transition up to the roadside. Those activities, along with inadequate parking space, have resulted in traffic congestion along the corridor. The study aimed to formulate the Gajah Mada Street corridor arrangement optimally for all of users convenience. The observations have shown that the traffic smoothness level along the Gajah Mada street varies on each zones.The corridor arrangement strategies was initiated through the parking location, type and time settings as well as the design of each business facilities. This research also has provided policy recommendation that can be taken by the local government related to parking arrangement and street vendors activities along the Gajah Mada street corridor of Sidoarjo.

Abstract

Early childhood education is an essential stage for the development of children's ability to attend school. Early age is the best phase for children to receive stimulation as well as their character formation in the future. The physical environment plays a vital role in supporting the successful establishment of children's behavior. One of them is through the design of classrooms that are suitable for the child's world. This study attempted to evaluate the interior arrangement of the school in the formation of children's behavior along with its influence on children's behavior in the Sakha Islamic Play Group / Kindergarten. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach and observation techniques on various aspects of the class physical arrangement. The results of the study concluded that some elements of the interior provision of classes in the Sakha Islamic Play Group / Kindergarten, such as the visibility and comfort, were not in accordance with the standards, while the classroom interior arrangement had influenced the children's behavior with the barrier mechanism and invited some specific children behaviors to shape their personality.

Abstract

The evolution of Indonesian vernacular architecture research is examined using bibliometric analysis. We investigate publishing trends, authorship patterns, thematic focuses, and geographical distribution of research from 2000 to 2024 using Scopus data from 89 publications. Since 2015, research on sustainability, cultural identity, and preservation has increased significantly. Analysis shows a fragmented research community with room for more collaboration, especially between domestic and international organizations. Java and Bali are the most researched, indicating a geographical imbalance. Disaster resilience, digital documentation, bioclimatic performance, sustainable tourism, and vernacular urban adaptation are trends. The study finds research gaps, notably in eastern Indonesia, and advises additional research. Researchers, policymakers, and practitioners studying and preserving Indonesia's rich architectural legacy can benefit from this comprehensive review. This project maps the present research landscape to assist future research and preserve Indonesian vernacular architecture.

Abstract

Concrete is the main material used in construction and is a mixture of sand, gravel, cement and air. The addition of materials such as coffee grounds can be an environmentally friendly alternative to partially replace cement in concrete mixes. This study examines the effect of variations in the addition of coffee grounds on the compressive strength of concrete, with the proportions of coffee grounds tested being 0%, 2.5%, 5%, and 7.5%. Tests were conducted on concrete cylinders of 150 mm diameter and 300 mm height, and the compressive strength was measured after 28 days of treatment. The test results showed that the addition of coffee grounds caused a decrease in the compressive strength of the concrete, with the average compressive strength values at 0%, 2.5%, 5%, and 7.5% variations being 36.78 MPa, 20.94 MPa, 16.98 MPa, and 11.04 MPa, respectively. Although coffee grounds cannot completely replace cement, this material can potentially be used as an environmentally friendly alternative for non-structural concrete applications. It can reduce the waste of coffee grounds while reducing the use of cement in construction, albeit with an impact on concrete strength.
