Abstract

Indonesia is still facing major challenges in the field of nutrition. Lack of nutritional intake is a type of nutritional problem that can cause disturbances in the growth and development of children, so efforts are needed to be made to overcome them. Specific nutrition interventions have been shown to reduce nutritional problems through supplementation and fortification interventions, supporting exclusive breastfeeding, counseling about children's diets, and providing additional food. This study aims to identify specific interventions that have been carried out in addressing under-five nutritional problems using qualitative methods using non-probability sampling techniques. Data was collected through in-depth interviews. The results showed specific nutrition interventions, namely toddler interventions (monitoring toddlers at posyandu, immunization, vitamin A, and PMT). Maternal intervention (pregnancy women's classes, PMT for pregnant women, nutrition and health seminars) and youth interventions (blood-boosting tablets/TTD program).

Objectives:To find out whether knowledge about cleanliness and health (PHBS) influences the nutritional status of toddlers.in the Enarotali Health Center Working Area, Paniai Regency. Method:The study was conducted using a cross-sectional study approach, in the Enarotali Health Center Working Area, Paniai Regency from April 1 to June 1, 2024. The sampling method used Accidental Sampling, namely 80 toddlers. This research instrument used a questionnaire and anthropometric tools. Data processing was carried out using the SPSS version 16 application. Results: The chi-square test showed that there was an influence of knowledge awareness of cleanliness and hygiene with the nutritional status of toddlers, namely the p-value (0.00) <0.05, attitudes, hygiene behavior and healthy lifestyles with the nutritional status of toddlers had a p-value (0.00) <0.05 and PHBS actions and nutritional status of toddlers had a p-value (0.00). Conclusion: There is an influence between knowledge, attitudes, and PHBS behavior on the nutritional status of toddlers. Suggestion: Mothers who have toddlers should continue to bring their young children to the integrated health post every month. So that if health problems are found in toddlers, they can be treated early.

Abstract

The Maternal and Child Health (MCH) book is an initiative by the Indonesian Ministry of Health aimed at addressing child nutrition problems. However, at the Karang Mulia Health Center UPTD, the distribution and utilization of the MCH book among mothers of toddlers have not met the national target. The area has reported 164 cases of undernutrition and 74 cases of overnutrition in children under five. This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of maternal knowledge in utilizing the MCH book and the nutritional status of toddlers aged 12-59 months in the working area of the Karang Mulia Health Center UPTD. This correlational analytic research used a cross-sectional approach. The study population included 640 toddlers, with 90 selected samples of mothers who had the MCH book. Purposive sampling was employed, and data were analyzed using the Statistical Program for Social Science (SPSS) version 16.0, applying the chi-square test. The study found no significant relationship between maternal knowledge in using the MCH book and the nutritional status of toddlers. The p-values for the BB/A, PB/A or TB/A, and BB/PB or BB/TB indices were 0.345, 0.851, and 0.282, respectively, all greater than 0.05. There is no significant relationship between maternal knowledge of the MCH book and the nutritional status of toddlers aged 12-59 months in the Karang Mulia Health Center UPTD.

Abstract

The development of the industrial revolution 4.0 has had a significant impact on the field of information and communication technology, including in the lives of adolescents who are in the phase of searching for identity and sexual exploration. One of the negative impacts of the development of this technology is the emergence of the sexting phenomenon, namely the activity of sending or receiving sexual content via digital devices. This phenomenon is increasingly reflected, especially because many adolescents do not understand the psychological, social, and legal risks of this behavior. This activity aims to increase adolescents' understanding of the dangers of sexting through an educational approach based on digital literacy. The activity was carried out in Bulukumba Regency on May 9, 2025, involving 12 adolescents as participants. The implementation method includes providing a pre-test, delivering educational material about digital security, media ethics, and the impact of sexting, a question and answer session, and a post-test to measure the increase in participants' knowledge. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in adolescents' understanding after participating in the education. Before the activity, only 33% of participants had good knowledge, and increased to 83% after the intervention. Meanwhile, the "sufficient" and "less" categories decreased by 9% and 8% respectively. This finding proves that an educational approach based on digital literacy is effective in forming a wise attitude of teenagers towards the use of digital media.
