Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menjelaskan pendidikan bagi anak tunagrahita; (2) menjelaskan pendidikan keterampilan hidup bagi anak tunagrahita; (3) faktor pendukung dan penghambat pelaksanaan pendidikan keterampilan hidup. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Sekolah Luar Biasa Negeri 2 Bantul Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Subjek penelitian adalah Kepala Sekolah, Koordinator Urusan Kurikulum, dan pendidik keterampilan pertanian di Sekolah Luar Biasa Negeri 2 Bantul. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis interaktif yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa: (1) layanan pendidikan untuk anak tunagrahita menerapkan model pembelajaran: terapi gerak, terapi bermain, kemampuan merawat diri, keterampilan hidup, terapi bekerja; (2) pelaksanaan pembelajaran keterampilan bagi anak tunagrahita dilakukan dengan memaksimalkan fungsi manajamen kepala sekolah yang meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pengarahan, dan pengendalian/ pengawasan untuk tujuan evaluasi; (3) faktor-faktor hambatan pelaksanaan pembelajaran keterampilan bagi anak tunagrahita, uniknya karakteristik anak dan keadaan cuaca, namun fakor pendukung berupa sumber daya manusia yang berkompetensi, berdedikasi dan sumber pembiayaan pemerintah.Kata kunci: Pendidikan, Keterampilan Hidup, TunagrahitaThis research aimed to: (1) explain the education for mentally retarded children; (2) describes life skills education for mentally retarded children;(3) know the supporting and inhibiting factors of the implementation of life skills education. This study uses a qualitative method. The study was carried out at the State Special School 2 Bantul, Yogyakarta Special Region Province. The research subjects were the School Principal, Curriculum Affairs Coordinator, and skills educators at State Special School 2 Bantul. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using interactive analysis which data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions drawing. The results of the study concluded that: (1) educational services for mentally retarded children apply learning models: occupational therapy, play therapy, daily living activities or self-care ability, life skills, vocational therapy (work therapy); (2) the implementation of learning skills for mentally retarded children by maximizing the principal's management functions which include planning, organizing, directing, and controlling/supervising for evaluation purposes; (3) the obstacles to the implementation of skills learning for mentally retarded, the unique characteristics of children and the weather conditions, but supporting factors in the form of competent, dedicated human resources and funding sources from the government.Keywords: Education, Life Skills, Mentally Retarded

Abstract

Sriyati dan SukadariABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar IPS melalui pendekatan contextual teaching learning (CTL). Adapun 7 siswa kelas VI SDN Pucungroto Kecamatan Kaligesing Kabupaten Purworejo Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016 merupakan subjek penelitian. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research). Tahapan penelitian ini, meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan contextual teaching learning (TCL) dapat meningkatkan: 1) motivasi belajar siswa dari 66,61% prasiklus menjadi 75,54% pada siklus I, dan 84,64% pada siklus II; 2) hasil belajar belajar siswa dari (capaian nilai KKM) nilai rata-rata siswa 71,71 dengan persentase ketuntasan 57,14% menjadi 74,86 dengan persentase ketuntasan 71,43% pada siklus I, dan 78,29 dengan persentase 85,71% pada siklus II.Kata kunci: motivasi, hasil belajar, metode contextual teaching learningThis research aims to improve the motivation and learning outcomes of IPS through contextual teaching learning (CTL) approach. Meanwhile, 7 students of fourth grade SDN Pucungroto Kaligesing, Purworejo, 2015/2016 are the subject of research. The type of research is classroom action research. . The research procedure starts from planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The techniques of collecting data are questionnaires and tests within quantitative descriptive technique as the way of analysis data. The results of research show that the application of ccontextual teaching learning (TCL) can improve: 1) student learning motivation from 66,61% in pre-cycle to 75,54% in 1st cycle, and 84,64% in 2nd; 2) student learning outcomes from (achievement of KKM values) the average students score is 71.71 with the percentage of completeness 57.14% to 74.86 with the percentage completeness 71.43% in the 1st cycle, and 78.29 with the percentage of 85, 71% in 2nd cycle I.Keywords: motivation, learning outcomes, contextual teaching learning method

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using the Articulation Station Hive learning media on the pronunciation ability of apico alveolar sounds in deaf students in class IX at SLB N 1 Bantul. Deaf children often face communication barriers, which have an impact on their social and educational development. Specific difficulties are experienced when pronouncing apico alveolar sounds such as /t/, /d/, /n/, /l/, and /s/. The existing learning method using a large articulation mirror often disrupts students' concentration, so an alternative medium is needed. This study used a quantitative approach with a One Group Pretest- Posttest design. The research subjects consisted of 4 deaf students in class IX SMPLB. Data was collected through a pronunciation ability test of sounds before (pre-test) and after (post-test) the treatment. The results showed a significant increase in scores after the treatment using the Articulation Station Hive media. The pre-test scores of the four subjects were in the range of 21 to 55, while the post-test scores increased to 48 to 78. The Samples Paired t test showed a significance value of 0.001 (p ≤ 0.05), which indicates that the use of this media has a real effect in improving the pronunciation ability of apico alveolar sounds in deaf children.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) determine the influence of the socio-cultural environment on the social behavior of students at PGRI University Yogyakarta; (2) the influence of lifestyle on the social behavior of students at PGRI University Yogyakarta; (3) the influence of social media on the social behavior of students at PGRI University Yogyakarta; (4) the influence of the socio cultural environment, lifestyle, and social media on the social behavior of students at PGRI University Yogyakarta. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The research sample consists of active students at PGRI University Yogyakarta, with a total of 370 respondents selected using purposive sampling. The data collection instrument is a Likert scale questionnaire, which has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis is performed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 26. The results of the study indicate that: (1) the socio-cultural environment does not have a significant effect on students' social behavior, with a significance value of 0.063 > 0.05; (2) lifestyle also has no significant effect on social behavior with a significance value of 0.016 > 0.05; and (3) social media has a positive and significant effect on students' social behavior with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Simultaneously, the socio-cultural environment, lifestyle, and social media have a significant effect on students' social behavior with a calculated F value of 43.466 > F table 2.63 and a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination (Adjusted R²) value is 0.504, which means that the three independent variables influence 50.4% of the variation in students' social behavior, while the remaining 49.6% is influenced by factors outside this study. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan sosial budaya terhadap perilaku sosial pada mahasiswa Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta; (2) mengetahui pengaruh gaya hidup terhadap perilaku sosial terhadap mahasiswa Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta; (3) mengetahui pengaruh media sosial terhadap perilaku sosial pada mahasiswa Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta; (4) mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan sosial budaya, gaya hidup, dan media sosial terhadap perilaku sosial pada mahasiswa Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa aktif Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 370 responden yang diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner berskala Likert, yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan program SPSS versi 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) lingkungan sosial budaya tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku sosial mahasiswa dengan nilai signifikansi 0,063 > 0,05; (2) gaya hidup juga tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku sosial dengan nilai signifikansi 0,016 > 0,05; dan (3) media sosial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku sosial mahasiswa dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Secara simultan, lingkungan sosial budaya, gaya hidup, dan media sosial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku sosial mahasiswa dengan nilai F hitung 43,466 > F tabel 2,63 dan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Nilai koefisien determinasi (Adjusted R²) sebesar 0,504 yang berarti bahwa ketiga variabel bebas berpengaruh 50,4% variasi perilaku sosial mahasiswa, sedangkan sisanya 49,6% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian ini.
