Abstract

A building, especially a building and a residence, is an absolute primary physical facility for modern humans whose function is to provide a place for them to live and work. As time goes by, the need for housing has become one of the main needs in carrying out activities, so to support the movement of human activities, a building that meets the structural and comfort requirements is needed. The structural requirement in question is a strong building to withstand earthquake loads because in general Indonesia is on the ring of fire line from the composition of the area with a high enough earthquake risk so for planning the building must meet the requirements of a strong structure. The design of earthquake-resistant buildings is not only for tall buildings but also for simple buildings such as residential houses so that if an earthquake occurs, the building will still stand strong and the people who live in the house are still in a safe condition.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to explore the impact of aquatic activities on Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) symptoms in female students at High School Pasundan 2 Bandung City. The method used in this study was a quasi-experimental with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group design, this study involved 70 female students aged 15-17 years who were divided into two groups, namely the experimental and control groups. The experimental group carried out aquatic activities for three sessions, while the control group did not receive any treatment. PMS symptoms were measured using SPAF, and aquatic activity assessments were carried out through observation sheets. The results of the paired t-test showed a significant decrease in PMS symptoms in the experimental group (p = 0.000). The independent t-test also revealed a significant difference between the experimental and control groups (p = 0.000). Most female students were in the Good to Very Good category of aquatic activities. The conclusion of this study is that aquatic activities are proven to be effective in reducing PMS symptoms and can be used as a non-medical intervention option in the context of Physical Education learning.

Abstract

Penggunaan beton sebagai material bangunan saat ini masih menjadi salah satu pilihan yang dominan karena ketersediaan yang banyak dari batching plane. Seiring dengan berjalannya waktu beton mulai dikombinasikan dengan material lain untuk meningkatkan mutu dan tak terkecuali dengan menggunakan material waste seperti flyash yang merupakan sisa pembakaran dari batu bara. Flyash yang digunakan berasal dari PLTU Tenayan Raya Kota Pekanbaru yang belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal sehingga belum memiliki nilai ekonomis. Penggunaan flyash pada campuran beton diharapkan mampu meningkatkan mutu pada beton sehingga bisa mengurangi keberadaan limbah. Pengujian dilakukan dengan variasi penggunaan flyash sebesar 0%, 10%, 20%, 30% dan 40% dari berat semen dan tanpa pengurangan semen. Flyash yang digunakan dilakukan pengujian saringan lolos No.100 terlebih dahulu, begitu juga dengan agregat dilakukan pengujian properties untuk mendapatkan komposisi setiap material dalam bentuk Job Mix Desain (JMD). Mutu beton yang digunakan direncanakan adalah K-150. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian kuat tekan didapatkan hasil tertinggi variasi penggunaan flyash optimal adalah 10% dengan nilai kekuatan tekan pada usia 28 hari sebesar 170,10 Kg/cm2. Dengan demikian penggunaan flyash pada campuran beton dapat menignkatkan sifat mekanik berupa kuat tekan beton sehingga flyash bisa bernilai ekonomis.
