Abstract

Accidents can happen anytime and anywhere without us knowing. Ignorance and ignorance of drivers regarding safety aspects when driving is something that must be addressed. Data obtained from the Korlantas Polri in 2021 the number of accidents from 2016 to 2020 involving motorbikes was 74.54% where the age of the victims included students, students and young workers as many as 56,187 people or 43.06%. Driving safety is very important for us to know and implement as soon as possible to reduce the number of accidents. Educating the public on the importance of safe driving is very necessary in order to provide education to the community, especially those who are still teenagers. Community Service Activities (PkM) were carried out at SMAN 1 Tabanan with the method of counseling participants. The participants of this PkM activity are students from the school. Participants will be given material related to technical aspects and vehicles that are safe on the highway in the hope of increasing participants' knowledge regarding technical aspects and aspects of driving safety.

Abstract

The measurement of the dimensions of a motorized vehicle is sometimes not carried out correctly and according to the measurement procedure which results in a size difference between the sizes listed on the Type Test Registration Certificate (SRUT) and the results of measurements in the field. The difference in size can result in the vehicle exceeding the specified dimensions or commonly referred to as over dimension and over loading (ODOL) conditions. The over- dimensional and over-loading (ODOL) vehicles will result in state losses in the form of road repair costs due to over-loading violations and/or over-size violations and result in an increase in the potential for traffic accidents due to over-dimensional and over-loading. One of the causes of errors in the process of measuring the dimensions of motorized vehicles is the process of measuring dimensions which are still done manually by motorized vehicle testers using a roll meter. These manual measurements are sometimes not carried out exactly at the measuring point and according to the size point of view so that the measurement results will be different from what they should be.

Abstract

Penurunan jumlah penumpang Bus Antar Provinsi merupakan salah satu masalah transportasi angkutan umum. Namun ditemukan Penyelenggara Bus Antar Provinsi yang tetap eksis memberikan layanan. Mereka dianggap mampu memenuhi faktor-faktor pemilihan moda transportasi. Kajian bertujuan mengetahui faktor pemilihan moda transportasi oleh penumpang Bus Antar Provinsi yang berangkat dari Terminal Mengwi Badung Bali. Metode pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner faktor-faktor pemilihan moda transportasi. Terdapat 7 faktor yang dikaji, yaitu: keamanan, keselamatan, kenyamanan, keterjangkauan, kesetaraan, keteraturan, dan protokol kesehatan. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah model pemilihan diskrit dengan menggunakan konsep utilitas dari setiap faktor. Hasil analisis data berupa persamaan regresi untuk mengetahui komponen yang berpengaruh positif dari setiap faktor. Selanjutnya, dilakukan perangkingan faktor pemilihan moda transportasi. Hasil yang diperoleh kenyamanan dengan komponen jumlah penumpang yang diangkut sesuai dengan kapasitas Bus merupakan faktor yang paling dominan. Kajian bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan kinerja penyedia jasa angkutan Bus Antar Provinsi.

Abstract

This research is about constructing a prototype of fire detection warning system on Apron Passenger Bus. The prototype can detect certain possibility of fire and give early warning to the driver. It works automatically based on three sensors used, which are smoke sensor, temperature sensor and flame sensor. The prototype is constructed using these three sensors and combined with Arduino microcontroller. This microcontroller has a role of transmitting information to the alarm system as a fire indicator. Method used in this research begins with simulation of a fire warning system and continued by implementation on hardware. The prototype works successfully on detecting fire both on software and hardware basis.
