Abstract

Website is one of the main components of the Internet, therefore those who are able to create website may able to influence, share, sell, advertise their or their company/organization content or products. Especially during the Covid-19 era everything information or business has become available online. This community service aimed to teach and bring awareness of CMS, a non coding method and system that can help user to create website quite fast. One of the advantages of WordPress is that it can be used for various websites and applications. For example, you can use WordPress to create a simple website, to a business website. For business websites, one of the plugin modules provided by WordPress is Woocommerce. With Woocommerce users can make WordPress display into an online store or online store quite easily. According to the questionnaire the training gave user a new perspective that creating and publishing website is isn’t that complicated after all when using Wordpress.

Abstract

The author carried out this community service in Sampiro village, Sangkub subdistrict, North Bolaang Mongondow district, North Sulawesi province together with students who are members of the Maranatha Unklab evangelism group. Carried out over a period of 10 days with many programs carried out, one of which is providing digital parenting outreach to parents in Sampiro village with the aim of ensuring that parents have digital literacy and provide supervision and control to children in using cellphones to avoid deviations. The method used is tiered qualitative, conducting interviews, in-depth research and outreach to each party starting from the village head, to the children and finally to the parents. The results obtained were that the children of Sampiro village all used cellphones, although not all of them had their own. The majority, namely 85%, play games, both online and offline games, and the majority, 65%, already have social media accounts. And children admit that their parents often remind them about using cellphones. Meanwhile, on the parents' side, the results showed that not all parents understood how to limit children's use of cellphones, even though most parents could afford cellphones. The conclusion is that the people of Sampiro village still need a lot of understanding on how to limit children's use of cellphones.

Abstract

The Community Service activities that have been carried out at SD - SMP - SMA Madison School aim to introduce teachers, especially in making learning media videos where to attract students' interest in participating in learning is by using learning media. One of the most effective learning media is by using video. From the results of the pre-test, it was found that the teachers at Madison Scholl had used videos as learning media but many were still unable to make learning media videos so that the introduction to making learning media videos was very appropriate. The material provided is making learning media videos with Microsoft PowerPoint. Based on the results of the post-test, it was found that there was an increase in knowledge in making learning media videos.

Abstract

Students are individuals who pursue higher educcation, have an important role as agents of change and future leaders in various sectors. They are required to actively learn, participate in academic and social activities, and develop critical and innovative thinking. Interactions between students, both with peers and lecturers, play a crucial role in shaping the learning experience on campus. Student interactions with lecturers also have an impact on learning motivation and the lecture experience. The importance of these interactions prompted the researcher to design an application specifically for the campus environment. The app features chat, add friend, and find mate to expand students' social interactions. The find mate feature allows students to find friends randomly, while the maps feature makes it easier for them to find the location of their lecturers and friends in real-time. By integrating the concept of Location-Based Social Network (LBSN), this application is expected to reduce the level of academic stress and improve the quality of interaction among students and with lecturers. Through this application, students can more easily find friends and lecturers, and share locations in real-time. The questionnaire results from Klabat University students showed the need for this kind of application

Abstract

Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak (software engineering) merupakan proses komprehensif yang melibatkan pengembangan program aplikasi. Pemahaman mendalam mengenai DevOps (Development Operation), Siklus Hidup Pengembangan Perangkat Lunak (Software Development Life Cycle atau SDLC), serta Integrasi Berkelanjutan/Pengiriman Berkelanjutan (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment atau CI/CD) adalah esensial dalam pengembangan aplikasi yang modern. DevOps diarahkan untuk meningkatkan kemudahan akses terhadap software. Model SDLC yang tradisional seringkali dipilih karena kesesuaiannya dalam mengembangkan aplikasi yang mudah dievaluasi. Namun, keterbatasan model ini mengakibatkan pola kerja yang monoton bagi pengembang, sehingga menghambat perubahan dan adaptasi yang cepat. Sebagai solusi, model CI/CD telah dikembangkan menjadi pendekatan inovatif yang mengubah proses pengembangan perangkat lunak dari manual menjadi otomatis. CI/CD tidak hanya memudahkan dan mempercepat proses pengembangan tetapi juga meningkatkan kualitas dari software yang dirilis. Survei yang dilakukan melalui pre-test di SMK N 1 Posumaen menunjukkan adanya kekurangan dalam pengetahuan siswa mengenai prinsip rekayasa perangkat lunak yang canggih ini. Setelah penyampaian materi yang dirancang khusus, terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pemahaman siswa, sebagaimana dibuktikan oleh hasil post-test.

Abstract

Temperature and humidity are critical factors that influence the health and productivity of broiler chickens. Manual monitoring and control of coop conditions are often ineffective and inefficient, leading to a decline in production quality. This research aims to develop a prototype IoT-based monitoring and controlling system for temperature and humidity in broiler chicken coops. The system employs a DHT22 sensor to measure temperature and humidity, a Wemos D1 R1 microcontroller for data processing, and the Blynk application as a user interface for real-time monitoring and notifications. The Evolutionary Prototyping method is applied in the development of this system to allow gradual adjustments based on user needs. Testing results show that the prototype can monitor temperature and humidity in real-time and automatically activate fans or lights when the temperature is outside the optimal range. With this system, farmers can monitor coop conditions remotely, simplifying farm management.

Abstract

Tuntutan terhadap kemahiran dalam teknologi informasi dan pemecahan masalah yang kompleks di tempat kerja digital membuat computational thinking menjadi suatu keharusan bagi siswa saat ini. Artikel ini menjabarkan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan di SMKN 1 Sorong, untuk mensosialikasikan computational thinking. Menggunakan metode unplugged konsep abstraksi, algoritma, dekomposisi, dan pengenalan pola diperkenalkan kepada siswa. Siswa yang tidak memiliki komputer atau elektronik dapat memperoleh manfaat dari pendekatan unplugged. Karena infrastruktur yang relative buruk, pendekatan unplugged cocok untuk sekolah di Papua. Sebanyak 31 siswa yang mengikuti pemberian materi pendahuluan, aktivitas unplugged dan mengerjakan sampel soal Bebras Challenge secara berkelompok. Antusiasme para siswa selama mengikuti kegiatan ini menunjukkan efektifitas metode ini untuk memperkenalkan computational thinking.

Abstract

Increasing efficiency in all areas ranging from business activities, health services, and handling of learning in education, by automating all repetitive activities that take time, requires effective handling. For this reason, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is needed to be able to assist in decision making through the analysis of large and complex data, as well as providing more accurate recommendations, thereby increasing productivity in the performance of automation on tasks that do not require creativity, thus allowing humans to focus on more complex tasks. Understanding the importance of strengthening AI knowledge since the time of Senior High School (SLTA), then provision is carried out in order to bring information system technology closer by utilizing basic AI from how to work, think and interact using AI which is formulated through practical guidance on using AI in creating web programming for basic applications as learning, for students at SMA Negeri 2 Bitung.
