Abstract

Dermaga sungai atau Terminal Untuk Kebutuhan Sendiri (TUKS) adalah suatu bangunan dermaga yang digunakan untuk operasional khusus bongkar muat material bio-massa untuk Pusat Pembangkit Tenaga Listrik. Konstruksi TUKS yang direncanakan terletak di Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) Sungai Kapuas, Kalimantan Barat. Konstruksi dermaga TUKS ini tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai dermaga sungai, akan tetapi juga digunakan sebagai lahan beban imbang (counter weight) untuk menahan pergerakan lateral ke arah sungai. Secara umum, struktur TUKS menggunakan suatu konstruksi lapisan pelindung dari batu atau konstruksi revetment (rock armour revetment system). Desain TUKS menggunakan data geoteknik dan geohidrolik eksisting. Guna mempersingkat waktu untuk menaikkan kekuatan geser tanah di bawah konstruksi revetment, maka waktu konsolidasi dipercepat dengan menggunakan metode pra-pembebanan (preloading) dan PVD. Analisis kestabilan lereng menggunakan software PLAXIS untuk menentukan faktor keamanan (FK). Hasil-hasil desain menunjukkan konstruksi revetment mampu mengantisipasi pergerakan tanah ke arah sungai dan lebih ekonomis daripada metode – metode lainnya.

Abstract

Improving literacy skills in children is very important to do fro an early age. By instilling literacy skills from an early age, it will become an important capital for children in living their daily lives in the future. Literacy is also a foundation that will affect children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development. This study aims to determine the development of children’s literacy skills through one word of the day activities in group B Al Ghofar KB-TK Islam Al Azhar 29 BSB Semarang. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, where the data collected are in the form of words, pictures, and not numbers. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The result of the study showed that one word of the day activities in group B Al Ghofar KB-TK Islam Al Azhar 29 BSB Semarang can improve children’s literacy skills, including: 1. Children who previously did not know letters began to understand letters, 2. Children who did not know syllables began to recognize words became accustomed to learing to compose words.

Abstract

Abstract Speaking ability is one of the important aspects in the physical and psychological development of early childhood. Therefore, children's speaking ability should be further developed from an early age. This study aims to determine the implementation of interactive storytelling methods to develop speaking ability in early childhood at RA Al Hidayah UIN Walisongo Semarang which consists of 16 children in class B1. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods. Data collection was done by observation, documentation and interview. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of interactive storytelling methods to develop children's speaking skills includes the pronunciation of sounds, language to express or convey thoughts, ideas or feelings orally. Before this method was applied, children tended to speak in less clear articulation. After the application of interactive storytelling method is applied, children are able to speak with clear articulation. Thus, the interactive storytelling method in developing children's speaking ability in class B1 at RA Al Hidayah UIN Walisongo Semarang proved to be successful in its implementation.   Abstrak Kemampuan berbicara merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam perkembangan fisik dan psikologis anak usia dini. Oleh karena itu, kemampuan berbicara anak seharusnya semakin dikembangkan sejak dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi metode bercerita interaktif untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berbicara pada anak usia dini di RA Al Hidayah UIN Walisongo Semarang yang terdiri dari 16 anak di kelas B1. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi metode bercerita interaktif untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berbicara pada anak meliputi pengucapan bunyi-bunyi, bahasa untuk mengekspresikan atau menyampaikan pikiran gagasan atau perasaan secara lisan. Sebelum metode ini diterapkan, anak cenderung berbicara dalam pengucapan artikulasi yang kurang jelas. Setelah penerapan metode bercerita interaktif diterapkan anak sudah mampu berbicara dengan artikulasi yang jelas. Dengan demikian, metode bercerita interaktif dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berbicara anak pada kelas B1 di RA Al Hidayah UIN Walisongo Semarang terbukti berhasil dalam pelaksanaannya Kata kunci: Metode Bercerita Interaktif; Kemampuan Berbicara; Anak Usia Dini

Abstract

In the modern era filled with the influence of less educational media, moral problems in early childhood are increasing. Many children exhibit behavior that deviates from Islamic values such as honesty, helpfulness, and politeness. Therefore, faith and moral education from childhood is very important to build children's character based on Islamic teachings. This study aims to examine the application of faith and moral learning in Husna Jaya Kindergarten, Semarang City and assess its influence on the formation of Islamic character in children. The method used is qualitative descriptive research with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the study revealed that learning faith and morals through daily routines, teacher examples, Islamic stories, and parental involvement were effective in fostering positive attitudes such as honesty, mutual help, forgiveness, and good use of language. With a fun and consistent approach, moral education has proven to be the main foundation in shaping Islamic personality from an early age.

Abstract

This study explores the application of a holistic approach in improving the inclusion of children with special needs in non-inclusive schools, taking into account psychological, social, and academic aspects. Qualitative research was conducted through observation of interactions and behavior of children at RA Bina Mutiara Hati, Semarang. Interviews with the school principal and Class A teachers revealed the characteristics of children with special needs, the school's strategies, readiness to accommodate them, and the challenges faced in managing an inclusive environment. Documentation included observation notes, interview recordings, and photos to support the analysis. Descriptive analysis techniques were used to interpret the data in a structured manner. The research results showed obstacles such as inadequate infrastructure, limited teacher training, and a lack of support from parents and the community. It was found that coordination between schools, parents, and the community plays an important role in overcoming the challenges of inclusive education. Recommendations include improving school facilities, providing ongoing training for teachers, and launching community awareness campaigns. Additionally, parental involvement in creating an inclusive educational environment is strongly emphasized. This study is expected to assist non-inclusive schools in providing more responsive services to the needs of children with special needs and in addressing various existing challenges.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji transformasi rias karakter Gamora dalam industri film Marvel sebagai salah satu bentuk seni tata rias karakter yang kompleks dan memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap visualisasi tokoh dalam sinema. Kajian ini difokuskan pada tiga aspek utama, yaitu teknik rias yang digunakan, estetika visual yang dihasilkan, serta dampaknya terhadap persepsi dan representasi karakter dalam narasi film. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan analisis visual dan studi literatur dari berbagai sumber, termasuk dokumentasi proses pembuatan film, wawancara dengan tim makeup artist, serta teori estetika dan semiotika visual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa transformasi karakter Gamora melibatkan penggunaan prostetik, body painting, serta teknik aplikasi makeup berlapis yang rumit namun konsisten dalam setiap kemunculannya. Secara estetika, riasan Gamora merepresentasikan keseimbangan antara unsur alien dan humanistik, yang memperkuat identitas karakter sebagai makhluk dari luar angkasa dengan nilai-nilai emosional yang tetap dapat diterima oleh penonton. Transformasi ini tidak hanya memperkuat kredibilitas visual tokoh, tetapi juga berperan penting dalam mendukung alur cerita dan keterlibatan emosional audiens. Studi ini menegaskan pentingnya tata rias karakter sebagai elemen integral dalam pembangunan dunia film fiksi ilmiah modern, khususnya dalam waralaba sinematik besar seperti Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Abstract

Without strong character education, future generations will tend to prioritize personal interests, be dishonest, lack empathy, and lack fighting spirit. The purpose of this study was to analyze self-management techniques for developing self-character in early childhood through Healthy Wednesday and Clean Friday activities. The research approach was qualitative descriptive with a case study method. The main subjects in this study were students, teachers, and parents of students as additional sources of information. Research data were collected through direct observation methods, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The research data were analyzed using thematic analysis, which included data reduction, coding, data categorization, and conclusion. Meanwhile, data validation was carried out through triangulation techniques. The results of the study showed that the implementation of self-management techniques applied through the Healthy Wednesday and Clean Friday activity programs was a structured and planned activity program to increase children's awareness and responsibility for the cleanliness and health of the school environment. The study concludes that the implementation of self-management techniques through the Healthy Wednesday and Clean Friday program activities has been empirically proven to improve the character of love for God Almighty, independence, discipline, responsibility, honesty, respect, politeness, cooperation, self-confidence, creativity, leadership, good attitude, and tolerance.

Abstract

Instilling the values of faith and morals in early childhood is a strategic step in shaping Islamic character from an early age. This study aims to describe the internalization of moral values through daily activities at Husna Jaya Kindergarten Semarang. The research method uses literature studies and simple observations on habituation practices in schools. From the results of the literature review, it is known that the internalization of the value of moral beliefs can be carried out through habituation, example, and strengthening of exemplary stories from the Prophet and previous Islamic figures. The subjects of the research were students of Husna Jaya Kindergarten, especially 25 children aged 5-6 years. Observations were carried out for 2 weeks and observations were non-intrusive participants. The analysis technique is descriptive qualitative with a thematic content analysis approach and data triangulation. The results of observations at Husna Jaya Kindergarten Semarang show that the implementation of internalizing moral values is carried out simply through the habit of saying four magic words, namely sorry, thank you, please, and excuse me. This habit is repeated in various daily activities, such as playing, studying, and interacting with teachers and peers. In addition, teachers also use the example method by telling exemplary stories from the time of the Prophet and his companions, so that children can imitate the good attitude exemplified. The internalization of these values is not carried out formally, but through activities that are fun and close to the child's daily life. Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze the implementation and strategies for teaching religious tolerance to early childhood students at TK PGRI 88 Semarang, an educational institution in a suburban environment designed to support character education in the context of religious diversity. A qualitative field method was employed, with data collection through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The results show that TK PGRI 88 Semarang has successfully created an educational environment conducive to developing tolerant attitudes in young children through inclusive facilities and a holistic learning approach. Teachers at this school implement strategies such as the use of stories, songs, and games, as well as interfaith activities integrated into the children's daily routines. Active involvement of parents and the community also plays a crucial role in reinforcing the values of tolerance taught at school. The conclusion of this study is that religious tolerance education for early childhood at TK PGRI 88 Semarang represents an important step in shaping an inclusive generation that appreciates diversity, relevant to the needs of Indonesia's multicultural society. The findings of this research contribute significantly to understanding the practices of religious tolerance education and offer recommendations for further development in similar educational institutions.
