Abstract

This article aims to identify moral philosophy contained in Selimbur Caye oral tradition and analyze the relevance of the moral philosophy to character education in Indonesia.  This research used qualitative descriptive method. Object of this study is Selimbur Caye oral tradition. The data was collected using in-depth interview, participatory observation, and documentation. They were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model of qualitative data analysis.  Based on the analytical result, there are two main categories of moral philosophy contained in Selimbur Caye oral tradition; respect and responsibility. Later, in this study, the two main philosophies are derived into several foundation/supportive moral values such as sportsmanship, tolerance, democracy, discipline, honesty, fairness, wisdom, loyalty, professionalism, trustworthiness, social care, co-operation, social solidarity, and friendship. Another result found is that those philosophies are strongly relevant to the character education values developed by Indonesian ministry of education and culture: 1) fairness; 2) tolerance; 3) democracy; 4) friendly/communicative; 5) love peace; 6) social care, and 7) responsibility.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan model perangkat pembelajaran berbasis steam di Paud Bunga Sari KecamatanKinal kabupaten kaur. Subjek penelitian 15 orang anak, 2 dosen dan 3 guru dan peneliti sendiri. Sedangkan Objek penelitian adalah perangkat pembelajaran Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran Berbasis Science, technology, engineering, art, mathematic dilengkapi Program Tahunan dan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran Mingguan. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian Reserch and Development dan menggunakan model pengembangan dengan prosedur 4- D. Dalam model 4-D terdapat 4 tahapan yang dilakukan untuk menghasilkan produk pembelajaran. Adapun tahap tersebut meliputi pendefinisian (define), Perancangan (design) pengembangan (develop), dan penyebaran (disseminate). Instrumen yang digunakan angket dan pedoman wawancara untuk analisis kebutuhan, lembar validasi ahli dan lembar uji kepraktisan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa model perangkat pembelajaran bebasis STEAM yang dikembangkan valid, praktis, dan Efektif digunakan, serta terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar setelah penggunaan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran Berbasis Science, technology, engineering, art, mathematic pada 6 aspek perkembangan anak di PAUD Bunga Sari Kecamatan Kinal Kabupaten Kaur.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to ascertain whether or not puzzle media may improve students' cognitive learning results when used in conjunction with the image and picture model. A quasi-experimental study with a pre- and post-test control group design was conducted. Twenty-nine pupils made up the study's sample. They engaged in systematic stumbling in order to sample properly. The 15 multiple-choice questions on the pretest and posttest provided the raw material for this study. The SPSS 26.0 application was used to conduct a t-test analysis in the two groups. The data analysis revealed that the average value of class VII students' cognitive learning outcomes using the picture and picture model assisted by puzzle media was higher than the average value of students' cognitive learning outcomes using the conventional model, coming in at 84 77.34. When the t-test is performed at the 5% level of significance, a result of Sig. (2-tailed) 0.05 or 0.030 0.05 indicates that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This demonstrates that the cognitive learning results of class VII pupils in the kingdom animalia content at SMPN 20 Bengkulu City are significantly influenced by the use of the image and picture models supplemented by media puzzles.
