Abstract

The baby’s immune system is still weak so it needs special attention. Parents are advised to check their baby to the health service regularly. There are along queues due to limited hours of service or doctor’s practice in serving patients. Parents need expert systems to facilitate detection and early prevention. Systems that try to adapt human knowledge to computers to solve problems in the way that experts do are called expert systems. The dempster shafer method will be used in this study as an expert system for infant disease. The way the dempster shafer works is by defining each sysptom with a density value. This study uses 23 type pf symptoms with 3 types of disease. Dengue fever can be identified based on 11 symptoms, 13 sysmptoms of malaria, and 14 symptoms of diarrhea. The results of  calculation on a case study found that the Malaria (TOD02) was the strongest with a value of 0,83 or 83% obtained from the symptoms of the body shivering but sweating (SOD02), vomiting (SOD03), blood in the stool (SOD06), fever appears and disappears simultaneously (SOD16), and red eyes (SOD17) so it is believed that the baby’s disease is Malaria

Abstract

The community service program is an activity carried out to contribute to the community directly with the main objective of increasing understanding to the participants about digital leadership and providing direct training in the use of social media as a medium for da'wah. This activity was held at Nawa Flat, Sorong City, on September 16, 2024, attended by 30 Aisyiyah women participants. This activity was carried out offline in one meeting session using material delivery using the lecture method, question and answer sessions and direct training on the use of social media as a preaching medium using the Tiktok and Canva applications. The results obtained show an increase in participants' understanding and skills in utilizing digital technology for da'wah purposes. This program has an important meaning in empowering Aisyiyah women to be able to use social media effectively, so that it is expected to expand the reach of da'wah messages in the digital era.

Abstract

Pendidikan dasar memainkan peran penting dalam perkembangan kognitif siswa, terutama dalam memahami materi abstrak seperti matematika. Namun, materi bangun ruang sering dianggap sulit oleh siswa karena sifatnya yang abstrak. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, penelitian ini mengembangkan aplikasi pengenalan bangun ruang berbasis Virtual Reality (VR) dengan teknologi Android yang dapat membuat pembelajaran menjadi lebih menarik. Objek 3D dikembangkan menggunakan SketchUp Pro 2019, sementara aplikasi dibangun dengan metode Agile Development dengan memanfaatkan Game Engine Unity3D menggunakan GoogleVR Cardboard SDK, yang memungkinkan siswa berinteraksi menggunakan gaze dan controller. Uji coba pada 43 responden, dilakukan melalui kuesioner dengan hasil kepuasan pengguna sebesar 91,2%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi VR efektif sebagai media pembelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan minat siswa dalam memahami bangun ruang. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi inovatif bagi metode pembelajaran matematika yang lebih menarik dan mudah dipahami.

Abstract

Pada era digital, penggunaan teknologi informasi di tingkat pemerintahan desa sangat diperlukan, terutama dalam pengelolaan administrasi yang melibatkan aplikasi seperti Microsoft Word dan Excel. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan aparat Kampung Saonek dalam menggunakan software tersebut, sehingga dapat mendukung tugas-tugas administratif seperti penyusunan dokumen dan pengelolaan data. Kegiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan di Aula Kantor Desa Saonek selama lima hari, dengan materi yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan peserta. Materi meliputi pengenalan antarmuka, pembuatan dokumen, pengaturan tabel, hingga penggunaan fungsi Excel untuk pengelolaan data. Peserta yang terdiri dari aparat desa dan pengurus kampung menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan dalam mengoperasikan Microsoft Office. Pelatihan ini berhasil memberikan pengetahuan baru yang bermanfaat dalam mendukung tugas administratif dan meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan kepada masyarakat Kampung Saonek. Diharapkan keterampilan ini dapat terus diterapkan dalam kegiatan pemerintahan desa untuk mencapai efisiensi dan efektivitas yang lebih baik.

Abstract

The infant’s immune system requires parental attention and is recommended to be checked regularly by health professionals. These diseases suffered by infants are Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI), Diarrhea, Acute Pharyngitis, Scabies, and Allergic Contact Dermatitis (ACD). Treatment can be provided at the public health center (Puskesmas), although there is still a general shortage of specialist doctors and no system to help diagnose diseases suffered by infants. Bayes’ Theorem is a rule that uses probability to make the best decision based on available information. This study makes a diagnosis of the disease suffered by the baby with the aim that the disease can be treated early by using the Bayes’ Theorem method. Based on the scenario that babies who experience symptoms of cold cough, itchy, and runny nose are then calculated using the Bayes’ Theorem method, it is concluded that the baby is suffering from Scabies. Bayes’ Theorem method, which was tested on 30 data, was found to have an accuracy value of 0.89 or 89%. The infant disease expert system using the Bayes’ Theorem method makes it easier for parents to find out the disease in their baby so that they can take action on the symptoms that appear.

Abstract

Perpustakaan adalah institusi pengelola koleksi karya tulis, karya cetak, dan atau karya rekam secara profesional dengan system yang baku guna memenuhi kebutuhan pendidikan, penelitian, pelestarian, informasi, dan rekreasi pada pemustaka. Maka perpustakaan harus mempunyai aplikasi perpustakaan, yang dapat memberikan kemudahan bagi proses aktivitas tersebut. Saat ini, perpustakaan daerah kota sorong masih menggunakan sistem manual dalam pengelolaan data peminjaman, pengembalian buku, dan pembuatan kartu angora, yang menyebabkan kurangnya efisiensi dan efektifitas dalam pelayanannya. Melalui penerapa teknologi berbasis mobile, aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat mempermudah proses pengelolaan perpustakaan, mulai dari pencarian koleksi buku, peminjaman, pengembalian, hingga pembayaran denda keterlambatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode extreme programming (XP). Aplikasi ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan efektifitas dan efisiensi pelayanan, sekaligus memberikan kemudahan akses informasi secara cepat dan akurat kepada pada pemustaka. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan rata-rata menggunakan rumus usability testing pada penelitian ini maka, dapat disimpulkan bahwa system informasi rancang bangun aplikasi pelayanan perpustakaan daerah kota sorong berbasis mobile sudah sesuai karean persentase yang diperoleh berdasarkan kriteria interpretasi skor mencapai 82,75% dengan keterangan sangat setuju.

Abstract

Background. The growing complexity of cybersecurity threats has led to an increasing demand for faster and more efficient solutions. As cyber threats evolve in sophistication, the implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in cybersecurity crisis management has become highly relevant. AI’s ability to process vast amounts of data quickly and detect patterns that may be undetectable to human operators offers significant potential in combating cybercrime and cyberattacks. Purpose. This study aims to evaluate how AI can enhance the effectiveness of cybersecurity by improving the detection and response to cyber threats. Specifically, the research focuses on understanding AI's role in identifying potential threats more quickly and responding with greater efficiency compared to traditional methods. Method. The research employs a mixed-method approach, combining quantitative data analysis and qualitative interviews. Quantitative data were gathered from cyberattack simulations to measure AI’s effectiveness in detecting and responding to various types of cyber threats. Additionally, qualitative interviews were conducted with cybersecurity experts to gather insights into AI’s practical applications and limitations in real-world scenarios. Results. The findings show that AI significantly accelerates threat detection, improving the overall response efficiency with a success rate of up to 85%. AI is also capable of analyzing large datasets in a short period, enabling faster identification of vulnerabilities and potential threats. However, AI still faces limitations in handling unexpected and novel types of cyberattacks, indicating that it cannot entirely replace human expertise. Conclusion. While AI offers numerous advantages in the field of cybersecurity, it must be integrated with human expertise to address its limitations effectively. AI technology should be continuously updated to adapt to emerging threats. This study contributes to the understanding of AI’s strategic role in cybersecurity and provides valuable direction for further research aimed at overcoming the technology’s weaknesses in threat management.
