Abstract

Writing critical essay can be simple and complicated in the same time. Critical essay is more than presenting and summarizing. It is an analitycal work.Dealing with statement above, a descriptive research is conducted in University of Pasir Pengaraian. The aims of this research are (1) to find out students’ ability in writing critical essay and (2) to explore factors affecting students’ writing critical essay skill. After analyzing the data quantitatively and qualitatively, it is found that the students’ ability in writing critical essay is 57,63 while factors affecting their writing skill are motivation, types, length and content of texts.

Abstract

This article is concerned with the study of applying writing task activities to students’ writing skill in developing good paragraphs at class II/A English Department in FKIP University of PasirPengaraian 20152016. The aspects explored in the study covered activities done by the lecturer in facilitating students’ need of the writing knowledge and skill . The research employed the action research design and the instruments used in collecting the data were a set of tests, observation sheet, fieldnoteand interview.The data analysis covered preparation and data implementation. The findings showed that thethe use of writing task activities could better improve students’ writing skill in developing good paragraphs. The finding also found somefactors that contributed to the better improvement, namely the selection of topics to be developed, the rule of peer and group discussion and the support of the writing lecturer in the instruction.

Abstract

Todays, using technology in teaching English online is a must for lecturer. It can facilitate student and lecturer in interaction on the learning process and create an interactive and communicative classroom environment. Learning outcome of essay writing is students are able to write essay well. To achieve learning outcome, the lecturer must develop about teaching material. Module is the most suitable teaching material for the students. Module was also useful on online learning. The Purpose of this research was to create Module of essay writing valid, practice and effective and to gain effect of Module in stimulating students’ critical thinking. Method of this research is R and D (Research and Development); ADDIE Development; analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Instruments of this research were Questionnaire and Writing Test. Data were gotten from the result of students’ and lecturer’s questionnaire response, validity test, and pre-test and posttest. Based on the result of Module validity; design, material, and language, the results showed that the Module had good validity. A pretest and posttest were given to get the result of implementation of writing Module in stimulating students’ critical thinking. The Sample Paired-t test was 11.094 t-table was 2.064. The results showed that the Module improved critical thinking and writing skills.

Abstract

Pandangan global ini tercermin dari pengakuan berbagai pemerintah di dunia akan pentingnya fungsi dan peran PAUD baik bagi anak usia dini maupun bangsa. Target Agenda Pendidikan 2030 untuk PAUD adalah memastikan seluruh anak laki-laki dan perempuan memperoleh akses terhadap perkembangan, perawatan dan pendidikan pra-SD (PAUD) yang bermutu untuk menjamin kesiapan memasuki pendidikan dasar. Di Indonesia upaya mencapai target tersebut sudah dimulai dengan Program Satu Desa Satu PAUD. Dalam satu nafas dengan Deklarasi Dakar dan SDGs di atas, Pemerintah Indonesia melakukan berbagai upaya untuk menyediakan akses terhadap layanan PAUD bagi seluruh anak usia dini di Indonesia. Terdapat banyak tenaga pendidik yang belum mengerti tentang penguasaan kelas dan pengasuhan bersarkan usia di Desa Mahato

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of the use of the “Guess the Word" game in learning English vocabulary at public elementary school 25 Tambusai. Using a classroom action research design, the study involved 10 fourth-grade students who participated in two learning cycles over four weeks. Data was collected through pre-tests and post-tests, class observations, as well as students’ interviews. The research analysis results in a better improvement in students, vocabulary mastery and pronunciation skills. The majority of students achieved better progress; five students in the range of 55-75 and four students in g a high score in the area of 75-85. In addition, the use of the word game in learning activities also develops students’ confidence and active participation in comprehending new vocabulary. In short, this study concludes that the game "Guess the Word" was an effective strategy for improving vocabulary mastery and developing a fun learning activity. Abstract

Pengklasifikasian dokumen teks sangatlah diperlukan di tengah-tengah perkembangan teknologi. Efektifitas dan biaya dalam pengelompokan manual menjadi faktor utama diperlukannya pengelompokan secara otomatis. Pengelompokan dokumen adalah proses pengkategorian dokumen-dokumen teks berdasarkan kategori isi dokumen.Dalam mengklasifikan judul-judul tugas akhir mahasiswa ke dalam kelas-kelas tertentu sesuai dengan kajiannya masing-masing dan memberikan rekomendasi dosen pembimbing dan penguji yang keahliannya sesuai dengan kajian judul tugas akhir tersebut.

Abstract

Rumah Oleh-oleh Qiran, the largest souvenir center in Rokan Hulu, Riau Province, is experiencing issues with manual inventory and sales tracking, a lack of sales data analysis, and inadequate product arrangement. This study used the Fuzzy Multidimensional Association Rule Algorithm to analyze sales data and generate product association patterns. The main goal is to increase the inventory and sales management efficiency while also optimizing product arrangement based on purchase patterns detected through transaction analysis results. The data used consisted of 140 sales transactions from during June, 2023, with a minimum support 30% and a minimum confidence 25%. The analysis of data results the best-selling products are "Kue Bangkit" (33.58%) and "Gula Aren Rambah Kotak" (27.01%). "kue bangkit" and "gula aren rambah kotak" are the popular product combinations, with a support of 19.71% and a confidence of 72.97%. The application passed the User Acceptance Test (UAT) with a 75% score, indicating that it is applicable to use.

Abstract

Tujuan dari Uji Kompetensi Kejuruan(UKK) ini adalah Mengetahui sejauh mana pencapaian prestasi kompetensi siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) bila diukur dari sisi standar kerja industri setelah mereka tamat SMK. Dalam uji kompetensi kejuruan pada jurusan Teknik Komputer Jaringan (TKJ) ini siswa dituntut mampu sebagai teknisi jaringan, dalam ujian tersebut siswa/i juga diajarkan perakitan komputer dan memasang kabel jaringan UTP RJ-45 dan konfigurasi Mikrotik, Supaya hasil atau output dari UKK ini maksimal maka perlu diadakan Bimtek pra uji kompetensi kejuruan. Output dari pelatihan/bimtek pra uji kompetensi ini adalah Setelah melakukan pelatihan Pra Uji Kompetensi Kejuruan siswa- siswi Kelas XII SMK Negeri 1 Pendalian IV Koto memiliki bekal dan kemampuan Menghadapi Ujian Kompetensi Kejuruan Berstandart Nasional dan lulus secara murni 100%. Setelah dilakukan uji atau dilakukan pengambilan nilai secara perorangan, siswa jurusan TKJ pada SMKN 1 Pendalian IV Koto yang ikut pra uji kompetensi kejuruan ini mampu menyelesaikan semua materi yang ditanya oleh tutor baik pertanyaan yang diajukan secara lisan maupun soal praktikikum yang mengacu pada soal UKK tahun sebelumnya. Dengan demikian secara keseluruhan siswa kelas XII jurusan TKJ pada SMKN 1 Pendalian IV Koto diprediksi akan mampu menyelesaikan soal UKK pada tahun mendatang, walaupun soal yang diberikan kemendikbud dari tahun ketahun ada pengembagan soal, namun akan teratasi dengan dilakukan bimtek ulang kesekolah menjelang hari H jadwal Ujian berlangsung.

Abstract

Aplikasi absensi pegawai berbasis web ini dikembangkan dapat menggantikan sistem absensi manual di Dinas Sosial Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak Kabupaten Rokan Hulu, yang sebelumnya menggunakan buku absen. Sistem manual ini memiliki kelemahan, seperti potensi kesalahan pencatatan dan keterlambatan dalam rekapitulasi data. Aplikasi ini dilengkapi dengan fitur absensi menggunakan swafoto (selfie) dan pelacakan lokasi karyawan, serta fitur pengajuan izin atau cuti secara online. Sistem ini dibangun menggunakan PHP dan MySQL dengan antarmuka yang mempermudah akses dan pemantauan absensi secara real-time. Hasil pengujian menggunakan metode black box menunjukkan bahwa semua fitur berfungsi sesuai dengan spesifikasi yang dirancang, meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi, dan transparansi dalam pengelolaan absensi di instansi tersebut
