Abstract

This study aims to test analyze and menginterpertasi; 1). the influence of competence on employee performance; 2). The effect of financial compensation on employee performance; 3).The influence of work discipline on employee performance 4). Influence of competence, financial compensation and work discipline to performance of Makassar First Class Navigation officer. The design in this research using quantitative research method dengang using survey method. The number of samples in this study were 71 people. This research used quantitative descriptive analysis technique which was analyzed with the help of SPSS 24 software. The conclusions of this study are: 1) competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance; 2) financial compensation has a positive and significant impact on employee performance; 3). work discipline has a positive and significant impact on the performance of Makassar First Class Navigation personnel.

Abstract

Mangosteen prices are determined by traders who tend to speculate, causing a weak bargaining position for farmers. Prices are determined unilaterally by traders, making farmers position only as price takers. Mangosteen marketing efficiency analysis needs to be done so that it can discover the cause of the low bargaining power of farmers and price fluctuations and the level of efficiency in each marketing channel. The study aims to analyze the marketing functions, costs, and the marketing efficiency of mangosteen fruit in Pulau Rambai Village, Kampa District, Kampar Regency. The method used is a survey method. Farmer sampling in this study used a simple random sampling method, and as for the traders, samples were taken by census method. The data analysis used is descriptive and quantitative. The results of the study highlight that the marketing functions carried out by each marketing institution are the exchange function, physical function, and facility functions. The exchange function is carried out in the form of a sale and purchase function. Physical functions is performed in the form of packaging, transportation and storage functions. The function of the facilities carried out in the forms of the activities of sorting and grading, financing, risk management, and market information. There are two mangosteen marketing channels in Desa Rambai Island. The most efficient marketing channels are determinedby thecalculation of marketing costs and marketing efficiency. The most efficient chaanel in this study is marketing channel number two.

Abstract

Daerah Gambut di Kabupaten Banjar, Kalimantan Selatan merupakan lumbung padi untuk daerah Kalimantan. Setelah panen, gabah perlu dikeringkan agar dapat disimpan  dan siap untuk digiling menjadi beras. Masyarakat mengeringkan gabah secara tradisional yaitu dijemur langsung di terik matahari. Hal ini sangat bergantung terhadap cuaca. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan membuat alat pengering gabah berbahan bakar briket sekam padi. Pada saat uji coba, alat pengering gabah berbahan bakar briket dapat menaikkan suhu dalam kotak pengering dari 40oC menjadi 56oC dalam waktu 20 menit. Untuk menaikkan suhu dalam kotak pengering, kita hanya perlu menambah bahan bakar pada tungku pemanas.Abstract. The peat area in Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan is a rice granary for the Kalimantan area. After harvesting, the grain needs to be dried so it can be stored and ready to be milled into rice. People dry grain traditionally, namely drying it directly in the hot sun. This really depends on the weather. This community service aims to make a grain dryer powered by rice husk briquettes. During the trial, the briquette-fueled grain dryer was able to increase the temperature in the drying box from 40oC to 56oC in 20 minutes. To increase the temperature in the drying box, we only need to add fuel to the heating furnace. Keyword: Peat; Rice husk; Briquettes; Grain dryer

Efektifitas dan biaya dalam pengelompokan manual menjadi faktor utama diperlukannya pengelompokan secara otomatis. Pengelompokan dokumen adalah proses pengkategorian dokumen-dokumen teks berdasarkan kategori isi dokumen.Dalam mengklasifikan judul-judul tugas akhir mahasiswa ke dalam kelas-kelas tertentu sesuai dengan kajiannya masing-masing dan memberikan rekomendasi dosen pembimbing dan penguji yang keahliannya sesuai dengan kajian judul tugas akhir tersebut.

Abstract

The research aims is simultaneously analyze economic growth and unemployment. The research object is Indonesia using time series data. The variables being examined in this research are economic growth and unemployment. The exogenous variables are the exchange rate, net export, inflation, foreign direct investment, and population. This research has shown that: 1) inflation and exchange rates have a significant influence on economic growth. A depreciation of the native currency versus foreign currencies will lead to a contraction in economic growth, whereas higher inflation rates in a nation would result in a decline in economic growth. 2) Both population and direct investment influence unemployment. Increased foreign direct investment has the potential to decrease unemployment rates, whereas a greater population might lead to an increase in unemployment. This research examines economic growth and unemployment simultaneously from an economic law perspective.

Abstract

This study aims to assess and evaluate the effectiveness of the Fraud Pentagon Theory in identifying fraudulent financial statements. The independent va-riables used in this study are Leverage, Inadequate monitoring, auditor turn-over, change of directors, and frequent number of CEOT Related to this, this study focuses on financial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018 to 2022, because financial sector companies are more vul-nerable to fraud. The sample approach used is purposive sampling. Based on the specified criteria, the sample consists of 55 results obtained from 11 com-panies in the financial industry. The data analysis methodology used a logistic regression model to assess its feasibility. The research findings indicate that leverage substantially impacts the prevalence of financial statement fraud. However, factors such as inadequate monitoring, auditor turnover, board turnover, and the number of CEO photo frequencies did not show a signi-ficant influence on financial statement fraud.DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/afr.v7i2.12710

Abstract

The quality of learning can be improved, one of which is using lesson study, through collaboration between lecturers to achieve learning output, especially in scientific writing technique courses with journal article output, so that it has an impact on improving quality in higher education. This research uses lesson study through plan (planning), do (implementation), see (reflection) with the object of study in the technical course for writing scientific papers in 3 cycles, namely research-based scientific work, preparing an introduction to a journal article, compiling the results and discussion of a journal article. . The research sample consisted of 12 people, taking into account the students' ability to express opinions to achieve students' understanding in preparing journal articles until they were published in the target journal. The research results show that in each cycle there is an increase in expressing opinions and obtaining learning innovations in each cycle based on the results of reflection.

Abstract

Motivation to learn is needed in the learning process at school so that learning objectives can be achieved as expected. Learning motivation This research was conducted on the basis of findings of problems that arise in the school environment, especially in the education of elementary school children, namely related to students' learning motivation. This has been proven at school, where some children show a lack of enthusiasm and even do not want to participate in the learning process, for example children do not pay attention to the teacher's explanations and are busy telling stories with their friends. This problem demands the need for a learning media that provides Achievement Star rewards. The method used is a comparative descriptive method with a qualitative approach and a quantitative approach which aims to compare the motivation of students' learning levels without using achievement stars. This research involved 29 children. Data was collected through classroom observations during learning and documentation. Based on analysis of previous research data, it was found that before there was concrete media with awarding achievement stars, children were less enthusiastic about participating in learning activities. The research results show that using concrete media by giving Achievement Stars can motivate children's learning. For example, children are enthusiastic about learning, active when asking questions or asking questions during learning activities, carrying out assignments given by the teacher until they are finished. By giving this achievement star, educators are helped so that they can increase children's learning motivation. The research results showed that there was an increase from pre-cycle, to cycle 1, then cycles II, and III. It can be seen from the percentage of students' learning motivation in the pre-cycle, 28% was categorized as very poor, in cycle I it was 51.72% categorized as poor, in cycle II it reached 69%, it was categorized as sufficient and in cycle III it reached 93.10%, it was categorized as very good. Thus, it can be stated that the application of learning using concrete media and achievement stars can increase students' learning motivation in class II Elementary School Civics learning

Abstract

The energy sector plays a crucial role in increasing the productivity of companies while driving a country's economic growth. Throughout 2024, the sector recorded a positive performance with an increase in the energy stock index (IDX Energy) of 28.01%, despite the decline in the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI). This study aims to examine how corporate governance and financial performance contribute to increasing firm value. Using a literature review approach, the analysis was based on previous studies to understand the relationship between governance, profitability and firm value. The study results show that the implementation of good governance, such as the principles of transparency and accountability, can increase investor confidence, reduce agency conflicts, and optimize company performance. On the other hand, profitability as an indicator of financial performance is proven to have a positive impact on firm value, reflecting market confidence and long-term growth potential. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of implementing effective governance and increasing profitability to strengthen the competitiveness of companies at the national and international levels.

Abstract

The development of MSMEs is followed by the implementation of financial statements in accordance with SAK, the main goal is to generate maximum profit and continue the business. Financial statement information becomes very important for organizations to make strategic choices. This study aims to evaluate accounting practices in MSMEs, especially in preparing financial statements in accordance with the Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small and Medium Entities (SAK EMKM). The research shows that there are limitations in accounting skills, the absence of experts and the perception that accounting is too complex are the main obstacles. In addition, the habit of combining personal finances with business finances further complicates the management of financial statements. The results of this study are expected to help MSMEs in supporting business development and continuity.
