This research is a Classroom Action Research study which has a spiral model from Kemmis and Toggart. The research procedure consists of several activity cycles. Which includes the stages of planning (plan), action (act), observation (observe) and reflection (reflection). The data collection instrument consisted of observation sheets, field notes and questionnaires. Data were analyzed using a quantitative descriptive approach using percentages. Abstract

The goal of this research is to create learning media product that are valid and to use. This type of research is known as R&D. Using a 4-D development model with four stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The feasibility of expert validators who are knowledgeable in their fields was taken into consideration when testing this research on class XI IPS students at SMAN 3 Pariaman. These are the conclusions reached by the research: First, the material experts' validation scored 93.6% in the very feasible category. In the meantime, the media experts' validation received a score of 97.1%, placing it in the very feasible category. So, in general, based on the assessment of the media and material validators, it can be stated that it is very feasible to be used in learning economics on employment materials. Second, the teacher's assessment received a score of 97.5%, while the student's assessment received a score of 88.5%, placing them both in the very practical category. The study's findings lead us to the conclusion that the animated Talking Head Video as a teaching tool for economics subjects is valid and practical to use.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of two independent variables, namely the Market Day demonstration learning method (X1) and the TCL learning method (X2), on the dependent variable, which is learning outcomes (Y). This research uses a quasi-experimental design and targets all students of Nirwana Kindergarten. Random sampling was used to determine the division between the experimental and the control classes, with a total sample of 31. The Market Day demonstration learning method was used in the experimental group, while the Teacher-Centered Learning (TCL) method was used in the control group. The findings indicate that the Market Day demonstration learning method significantly improves students' learning outcomes in the experimental group, thereby validating the effectiveness of this approach in enhancing students' learning outcomes.

Abstract

Objective: Addressing this gap requires preliminary research on the development of AI-based educational videos. This research focuses on high school economics subjects and aims to examine how such media can help improve students' understanding of complex economics material. Method: This research employs the ADDIE development model; however, at this stage, the study is only at the preliminary phase, specifically the needs analysis. This phase involves an analysis of the needs of prospective users (students and teachers), curriculum analysis, and an analysis of student characteristics. The methods employed include interviews, documentation studies, and surveys of students to identify preferences and challenges faced in the economics learning process. Results: The findings indicate that some teachers tend to use conventional learning media that are less effective in enhancing students' understanding of economic concepts.Furthermore, there is a clear need for innovative learning media that can facilitate students' comprehension of economic concepts more effectively. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that AI-based learning media represents a relevant solution to address the challenges of learning in the digital era, particularly in improving the quality of economics education at the high school level. Novelty: conducting a comprehensive preliminary needs analysis as the basis for developing AI-based educational videos for high school economics learning. The integration of curriculum analysis, teacher and student needs, and student characteristics provides a systematic foundation for designing AI-supported learning media that is pedagogically relevant and responsive to the demands of digital-era education.
