Abstract

A Boiler Feed Pump (BFP) is a very important equipment in Steam Power Plants (PLTU), which functions to pump water from the feedwater tank to the boiler drum. If the BFP experiences a disturbance, the PLTU will experience derating or shutdown. For one year, there were repeated disruptions to BFP, causing the plant to experience an unplanned shutdown (Forced Outage/FO). Analysis of disturbance data was carried out to find the root cause of the problem of repeated disturbances in BFP, using the Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) method. RCFA results show that the cause of repeated interference in BFP is a problem with the Speed Control Actuator which uses an Analog Electric Actuator (Motorized) as a Hydraulic Coupling drive. The main disadvantages of the Analog Electric Actuator system are low response speed, easily changing settings, motor protection often fails and the module often hangs. The solution to this problem is to carry out a retrofit to replace the BFP actuator speed control from an Analog Electric Actuator system to a Digital Electro Pneumatic system.. The retrofit was successfully performed on BFP 1A and proved to be able to operate normally without interruption during the period of operation. After a successful retrofit was performed on BFP 1A, the retrofit was also performed on all other BFPs, namely BFP 2B, 2A, and 1B. Overall, retrofit proved to be able to overcome the weaknesses of the Analog Electric Actuator system and improve the reliability of the power plant. Financially, retrofits eliminate corrective maintenance costs of actuator replacement and eliminate potential plant losses due to lost production opportunities.

Abstract

The research aims to examine the function of Baitul Qur'an Student Boarding School in improving community worship in Pekon Podosari, Pringsewu Regency Lampung. This research uses a qualitative method, which is research that is This research uses qualitative methods, which are used to find data derived from field data, as well as data from interviews, documentation, and observations obtained through the process of recording what it is about objective conditions, namely methods used to make generalizations, and then analyzed using descriptive analysis methods. The results of this study indicate that the function of the Baitul Qur'an Student Boarding School is to provide a place for the community to attend Friday night recitation and a place where children can learn to read the Qur'an and memorize the Qur'an. The increase in community worship as a result of the da'wah activities of the Baitul Qur'an student boarding school in Podosari Pringsewu Village is that the community's knowledge about the practice of worship increases with the addition of recitation material, namely religious lectures/Tausyiah and questions, and answers, and the recitation is routinely held at least one time in one week every Friday night, increasing the ability of community children to read the Qur'an and memorize the Qur'an.

Abstract

The dynamic and multifaceted roles of educators in community education, this study emphasizes the essentiality of establishing a continuous and comprehensive evaluation mechanism. This study evaluates the role of technical guidance in supporting the functional responsibilities of these positions, employing a multidimensional approach to improve educational outcomes. Through a comprehensive evaluation system that incorporates continuous feedback, this research investigates the impacts of technical guidance on teaching practices and learning quality. Utilizing a descriptive quantitative methodological framework, this inquiry engaged 107 participants and 22 instructors from a technical guidance initiative, with a focus on systematically analyzing the initiative's efficacy within the educational milieu. The evaluative methodology employed herein encompasses an assessment of the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor dimensions of learning, utilizing descriptive statistical techniques to elucidate trends, patterns, and interrelations within the dataset. The findings of this scholarly investigation reveal that the technical guidance initiative has registered notable success in several domains, particularly in enhancing competencies and updating facilitators' insights regarding regulations and educational technologies. Nonetheless, it concurrently identifies domains necessitating enhancement, such as participant engagement and evaluative methods. The implications emanating from these findings bear significant ramifications for educational policy formulation and pedagogical practice. Recommendations proffered include the enhancement of material delivery clarity and engagement, diversification of implementation methodologies, refinement of assessment protocols, and an emphasis on the educators' well-being. This research furnishes a foundational basis for forthcoming endeavors aimed at optimizing technical guidance strategies, thereby augmenting the overall educational outcomes.
