Abstract

This study aimed at examining the relationship between Islamic values and public services. To achieve the purpose it employed survey research design. The patients in Ibnu Sina Islamic hospital were assigned as respondents and questionnaire was used to assess their perceptions toward the values and the quality services provided by the hospital. The findings showed that 1) the implementation of the Islamic values provided by the hospital was in general was ‘good’,  2) the quality of public services in general was also ‘good’, and 3) the correlation between the implementation of Islamic values and the quality of public services was ‘positive’ (0.458 on Pearson Product Moment index). It can be concluded that the more Islamic values were implemented, the quality of public services tended to be more realized. Theoretically, the finding were expected to yield evidence that there was positive correlation between organizational culture, especially religious values, and organizational performance, especially quality of public services. Practically, the findings encouraged the hospital managers to keep improving their implementation of Islamic values since the of quality of public services tended to increase as well.Kata kunci: nilai-nilai Islam, pelayanan publik, rumah sakit Islam Ibnu Sina

Abstract

The attendance application for lecturers and employees of Multi Data University Palembang was built with Java language and based on Android. The purpose of this research is to analyze the application's compliance with Clean Architecture rules and SOLID design principles, and refactoring the application source code based on these rules and principles. Refactoring is done on seven classes that do not comply with the Single Responsibility principle. Refactoring is done by breaking functions with the same responsibility into a class, and removing unnecessary function implementations to comply with the principle of interface segregation. Four classes that did not comply with the Dependency Inversion principle were adjusted by creating dependencies on abstraction classes and using dependency injection with Hilt. The Clean Architecture concept is also applied by creating a domain layer that contains entities and use cases that contain the application's business logic. This makes the presentation layer not directly dependent on the data layer, but rather dependent on the domain layer. The application of Clean Architecture and SOLID design principles results in a smaller amount of source code and code recommendations from this research are expected to facilitate developers in maintaining applications.

Abstract

This research discusses the application of the Clean code principle to the development of the CodeIgniter 3-based SIIZIN application by applying smells and heuristics analysis. Code smells are found in the Names, Comments, and Generals categories, such as N1: Choose Descriptive Names, C5: Commented-Out Code, C3: Redundant Comment, G5: Duplication, G20: Function Names Should Say What They Do, and G12: Clutter. Through in-depth analysis and application of Clean code principles, it succeeded in improving the readability and efficiency of the code, eliminating duplication, and describing functions according to their names. Not only that, this research also managed to eliminate useless comments to improve code clarity and maintainability. The results of this research are expected to contribute to the maintenance and development of the SIIZIN application, so as to ensure its sustainability and effectiveness in licensing management.

Abstract

This research explores the analysis of the MDP SIGN application by applying clean code principles based on code smells and heuristics. The main focus of clean code, which emphasizes writing code that is easy to understand, is key for efficient maintenance and team collaboration. Code smells, as indicators of code structure issues, and heuristics as rules of thumb, became the basis for analyzing this application. The refactoring process was applied to MDP SIGN, a QR code-based digital signing application. The analysis identified potential improvements by finding code smells such as N1: Choose Descriptive Names, N4: Unambiguous Names, G5: Duplication, F4: Dead Function, and C5: Commented-Out Code. Through the implementation of clean code, the author managed to reduce 330 lines of code and improve efficiency. Validation involved the original developer, improving understanding of the code. This research contributes to the practical understanding of the application of clean code in application development.

Abstract

PT Alkon Sriwijaya merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang jasa konstruksi. Perusahaan ini setiap dua kali dalam satu tahun selalu membuat penilaian kinerja karyawan terbaik yang bertujuan untuk memilih karyawan mana yang nantinya layak untuk naik jabatan dan juga bagi karyawan yang masih kontrak akan diangkat menjadi karyawan tetap. Dalam mempermudah penilaian ini maka dikembang sebuah sistem pendukung keputusan dengan menggunakan metode Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) dengan beberapa kriteria yang telah ditetapkan oleh pihak perusahaan. Adapun tools yang digunakan untuk pembuatan aplikasi ini ialah dengan Visual Studio Code sebagai code editor dengan bahasa pemograman PHP dan MySQL sebagai tempat penyimpanan database. Hasil yang diperoleh dari sistem ini ialah dapat membantu perusahaan dalam mengambil keputusan untuk pemilihan karyawan terbaik secara effisien dan akurat serta dapat memberikan informasi yang transparan terhadap karyawan.

Abstract

A personnel information system is a system that provides information about personnel to help companies manage employee data more easily and quickly. PT Graha Sriwijaya Sejahtera Sentosa is a company engaged in the distribution of car batteries under the Massiv brand. Problems that exist in companies include the accumulation of prospective employee application files resulting in the destruction of rejected employee application files, searching for employee data which takes a lot of time because employee data has to be searched in a storage cupboard so it is less efficient and employee leave applications are still recorded manually. in written media such as books and paper which have a fairly high risk of being lost or damaged, which causes data processing related to the company's human resource information system to still have shortcomings and inefficiencies. The system development method used is the RUP method (Rational Unified Process) by observing the running system. This research aims to collect data and convey information about employees. The results of interviews with the company's HRD revealed problems in collecting employee data adapted to the PIECES framework as welldiagram usecase as well as in planning to useclass diagram anddiagram activity andMySQL for database storage. The purpose of creating this system is to simplify the process of collecting personnel data in companies. Therefore, having a personnel information system in the company can help the company more easily collect employee data, provide information to employees regarding the company's internal affairs, and help employees more easily apply for leave without having to contact their superiors directly.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has extraordinary natural wealth, both from the sea and the land. Not only natural tourism, art tourism, even culinary tourism is no less interesting. The many of tourist objects makes tourists confused to choose which tourist objects to visit and indeed according to their interests, given the limited time to travel. This time limitation makes it difficult for tourists to schedule their tour plans, such as how many tourist attractions can he actually visit with the tour time he has. Moreover, to choose a tourist attraction that suits the interests of each tourist, information about the tourist attraction itself is needed. The limitations of promotional media that can be used by UMKM create many limitations between UMKM and tourists. For this reason, it is necessary to develop a "Plesir" Tourism Planning Application Based on Web using the RUP (Rational Unified Process) methodology. While the steps taken are inception, elaboration, construction and transition. The results of developing this application are making it easier for tourists to use tourism, can get more information about tourist attractions and help UMKM in promoting their products.

Abstract

Sebagai negara yang luas dengan kekayaan alam dan budaya yang beragam, Indonesia berpotensi besar dalam pariwisata. Keragaman budaya yang tercermin dari keanekaragaman makanan tradisional dan kerajinan tradisional merupakan nilai tambah yang mendukung keunggulan dalam parisiwata. Luasnya wilayah Indonesia menyediakan banyak objek wisata yang kadang membingungkan wisatawan. Terlebih lagi, tidak semua objek wisata dikenal luas. Wisatawan, dengan waktu kunjungan yang terbatas, perlu merencanakan dengan baik perjalanan wisatanya agar efisien. Selain itu, pelaku UMKM yang memiliki usaha yang mendukung pariwisata juga perlu media promosi agar dikenal wisatawan. Untuk itu diperlukan Pengembangan Aplikasi Perencana Wisata “Plesir” Berbasis Android dan iOS dengan metodologi RUP (Rational Unified Process). Adapun tahapan-tahapan yang dilakukan adalah permulaan, perencanaan, konstruksi dan transisi. Hasil dari pengembangan aplikasi ini yaitu mempermudah wisatawan dalam merencanakan wisata, dapat memperoleh lebih banyak informasi mengenai objek wisata dan membantu UMKM dalam mempromosikan produknya.

Abstract

The purpose of creating a staffing information system at PT Jalur Sutra that has been made is to assist the admin section in viewing data management related to employment such as employee data, leave data, mutation data, demotion data, promotion data, layoff data, reward punishment data and data employee attendance record. In addition to the admin section, this staffing information system can also assist employees in carrying out employee attendance independently. Making this application is made with supporting applications such as Visual Studio Code, Android Studio, XAMPP, MySQL and the Laravel Framework. The system development methodology used is the RUP (Rational Unified Process) methodology by observing the running system, collecting data in the form of interviews and literature studies, conducting analysis, carrying out the final design and implementation to be used by PT Jalur Sutra. The result of making this application is that it can help the admin section in viewing staffing management data and for the employee section in carrying out employee attendance independently.

Abstract

PT Indo Global Cemerlang is a company engaged in the sale of spare parts,lovated in Palembang, South Sumatra, specificially at ruko 1B, Jl. H. Abdul Rozak Patal-Pusri No.2630, 2 Ilir, Kec. Ilir Tim. II, Palembang City, South Sumatra, 30163.Currently, the company still employs conventional methods for employee data management, such as physical documents, manual recording, andpaper forms. These methods result in inefficiencies in recruitment, attendance, leave management, and the handling of promotions and rewards. The Research methodology applied in developing the employee information system utilizes the RUP(Rational Unified Process) methodology. The final result of this research is a web-based employee information system designed to facilitate and streamline the company’s processes.
