Abstract: Education is one of essential aspects for Indonesia when it wants to advance its national life through young generation. Young generation as the future of nation is a familiar words accepted by a large number of people in this country. The case of studentsâ morality commonly found in the school proves that to give moral message in all chances of lesson is important. The study used qualitative research to find the data. Reseacher analyzed 22 narrative text books. The result shows that narrative texts as kind of literature are frequently found in English text books of senior high school also narrative texts found in English text books of senior high school Kosgoro Sekampung are commonly found in the form of fable. Since, narrative text is favorable text in a major of students; the teachers hopefully are expected to employ it as the topic in making ice-breaking or brainstorming before start for teaching.Keywords : moral value, narrative text, young english learners

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat tentang mitigasi bencana tsunami melalui pemetaan jalur evakuasi dan sosialisasi kebencanaan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di pekon Negeri Ratu Tenumbang kecamatan Pesisir Selatan kabupaten Pesisir Barat, yang merupakan zona merah desa rawan tsunami berdasarkan rilis BNPB. Pengabdian ini menggunakan metode Community Based Research dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Focus group discussion, kajian pustaka dan penyuluhan/ sosialisasi dilaksanakan dengan melibatkan beberapa pihak diantaranya yaitu tim pengabdian, BPBD Kabupaten Pesisir Barat dan pemerintah pekon Negeri Ratu Tenumbang beserta masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian ini terbagi menjadi dua tahap. Pertama, focus group discussion untuk memetakan jalur evakuasi kebencanaan dan sosialisasi untuk mengedukasi masyarakat terkait tanggap darurat bencana tsunami. Hasilnya, sinergi berbagai pihak telah berhasil membuat jalur evakuasi bencana tsunami. Selanjutnya, sosialisasi juga telah meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat dalam mitigasi bencana tsunami dengan prosentase mencapai 96%.Â Community empowerment of Negeri Ratu Tenumbang village in realizing disaster response areasÂ Abstract: This research aims to increase societiesâ€™ understanding of disaster mitigation of tsunami through mapping evacuation routes and disaster explanations. This research is implemented in Negeri Ratu Tenumbang village, sub-district of Pesisir Selatan and regency of Pesisir Barat Lampung.Â This village is a high prone to index level (red zone) tsunami disasters based on BNPB. This research applied community-based research with a qualitative approach. Focussed group discussion, literature review, and socialization involved the team of the research, BNPB Pesisir Barat, the government of Negeri Ratu Tenumbang, and societies are applied in this research. This research is held in two steps. Firstly, focused group discussion (FGD) is done to map and determine the evacuation path or route, and secondly socialization to educate the societies to face the tsunami disaster. The result of the research is created of the evacuation route of the tsunami disaster and societiesâ€™ understanding in disaster mitigation of tsunami.

This research aims to develop a digital-based learning evaluation model for Senior High School students. This research method used a design research approach with a development study type. This research followed the model developed by Tessmer, which includes the stages of preliminary and formative evaluation. The formative evaluation stage encompasses self-evaluation, prototyping (expert review, one-to-one, and small group), as well as field testing. The data collection techniques for this research involved interviews and questionnaires, with data analysis conducted through both quantitative and qualitative methods. The results of this study indicated that the material validation score was 95.33%, categorized as "very feasible," the language validation score was 93%, also categorized as "very worthy," and the media validation score was 93%, categorized as "very worthy." The results of the response test obtained from the initial trial showed a response from educators of 88% and from students of 87.22%, both categorized as very worthy. Meanwhile, the results from the small group trial indicated a response from educators of 93.89%, also categorized as very worthy, and a response from students of 92.17%, which is again categorized as very worthy. It is clear that Senior High School teachers and students can benefit much from using the digital-based learning evaluation paradigm.

Humans need the value of disciplined character in order for other positive character traits to emerge. Due to the high number of student actions that defy established disciplinary guidelines, it is crucial to reinforce the necessity of discipline in schools.This research aims to develop a Social Interaction Learning model in instilling discipline values in children. The research results are in the form of a social interaction learning model in instilling discipline values in children, namely: 1) The social interaction-based learning model is appropriate for instilling and improving the value of discipline in fourth grade elementary school children. 2) The social interaction-based learning model is significant and feasible in instilling discipline values in fourth grade students at Elementary School 3) An effective social interaction-based learning model for instilling the value of discipline in fourth grade elementary school children. Social Interaction could be one of the model to instill students dicipline.

The environment has a big influence on students' understanding of Arabic language lessons. This research aims to determine the influence of the environment, especially the family, school and community environment, on the understanding of Arabic language lessons for class VIII students at MTs Darun Najah Sambikarto. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, tests and documentation. Data were analyzed using validity, reliability, normality, homogeneity and hypothesis testing. From the posttest results, a significant value was obtained of 0.007 <0.05. Where the significant value obtained is <0.05, the hypothesis that reads is "The environment influences the understanding of Arabic language lessons for class VIII students at MTs Darun Najah Sambikarto for the 2023-2024 academic year. A conducive environment such as a supportive family, positive peers, and learning activities at Islamic boarding schools can improve students' understanding of Arabic language lessons. This research provides recommendations on the importance of creating a good environment so that students can understand Arabic lessons more easily. It is hoped that future researchers will be able to provide new explanations about the importance of the environment in understanding Arabic language lessons, especially in the field of education. So this theory will persist and it is hoped that it will become more widespread.

Humans are social creatures who need other humans to fullfil their needs, communication and interaction have a crucial role to fullfil those needs. In order to the communication process can proceed smoothly, then at least human need to speak in polite in the communication. Religious norms and the community shows that politeness is necessary to properly maximized. Politeness in the relating of the Holy Qur'an about pronunciation, gestures and vocabulary was polite and adapted to the circumstances (environment). In social life, politeness is usually used to show respect for older people, but it would be better also if used against a fellow or a younger person. Politeness will minimize conflict and hostility. Because of it, the institution is one way of language education. STAIN Jurai Siwo Metro is an Islamic institution, that students have many educational backgrounds and is so different each other. Based on the mapping carried out showed that students of English Department Program, the majority coming from Senior High School (SMA). This study aims to determine the reality of politeness and influence of the educational background to the student politeness in English Study Program STAIN Jurai Siwo Metro. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive, where interviews, observation and documentation used by researchers in collecting and obtaining data. From the data obtained show that the reality of politeness students have to realize elements of politeness. Furthermore, based on analysis of the data also showed that educational background gives affect student in politeness.
