Abstract

Schools in Indonesia are an important environment for developing character, communication and the growth of students' minds in pursuing science and technology. Science and technology continue to develop, and human resources must be improved to keep up with these developments. The Indonesian state has a target to become a Golden Indonesia by 2045, with a focus on developing science and technology in balance with existing human resources. In the era of technology 5.0, schools in Indonesia are faced with the challenge of integrating increasingly advanced technology into education, so curriculum changes are being made to maintain the relevance of education with technological developments. Basic education in Indonesia has included programming language subjects, which are important in the development of technology and applications. At this time, the Python programming language is increasingly popular, because it is easy to understand by novice users and has many uses in various industrial fields. Python can be used to create desktop, mobile, game and other based programs. Its easy-to-understand nature makes it popular among technology developers. Python also has many benefits, such as flexibility in using libraries to create applications and analysis. This programming language allows the implementation of the concepts of inheritance and polymorphism, so it is widely used in various operating systems. Secondary schools in Indonesia also focus on developing students' individual skills through an independent learning curriculum, which includes ICT subjects and programming languages. The Python programming language and the use of pysimplegui are encouraged to improve students' skills in technology. Through this research, it is hoped that it can increase understanding and use of the Python programming language pysimplegui in junior high schools (SMP) to help students develop skills and knowledge in technology.

Abstract

Choosing a technological device such as a laptop is an important decision for students, especially in supporting their academic activities. This research aims to apply the Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) method in a decision support system for selecting laptops, which can help students determine which laptop suits their needs. This SMART method considers various important attributes in selecting a laptop, such as price, performance, battery life and portability. The decision support system developed can provide recommendations that are objective and measured based on the preferences and priorities of each student. With this system, it is hoped that students can make better and more efficient decisions in choosing a laptop that suits their academic needs. The data collection technique used was distributing questionnaires. The research results show that the Asus E410KA is in first place with a final score of 0.972, followed by the Elitebook cellphone in second place with a score of 0.375, the 14S cellphone in third place with a score of 0.366, and the Acer Aspire A14 in fourth place with a score of 0.313. This decision support system not only helps students in the selection process, but can also increase their understanding of the important specifications and features of a laptop. In addition, the SMART method can be adapted to suit the needs of selecting other technology products, such as smartphones or tablets, which are also often used by students in academic activities. Using a system like this can also help reduce the confusion and anxiety that students often experience when faced with the many laptop choices on the market

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji apakah terdapat perbedaan yang signfikan dalam rat-rata skor ujian antara tiga metode pembelajaran: pemebelajaran konvensional, pembelajaran berbasis proyek, dan pembelaaran daring. Data dikumpulkan dari 90 siswa yang dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok, masing-masing terdiri dari 30 siswa. Analisis Varians (ANOVA) dilakukan untuk menentukan perbedaan rata-rata skor ujian. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan (p < 0,05) antara ketiga metode pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penggunaan metode pembelajaran berbasis proyek untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa.

Abstract

The stochastic model for queue simulation can be defined as a model that can explain the nature of the system in probability, with data or information entering as input of random probability and the output that can be generated is also random. This stochastic model is often also used to model multiple probabilities or Monte Carlo. In stochastic processes, the properties of the outcomes are formed from a random selection process, so that the outcomes obtained can be described in terms of averaged counts, but are often also reinforced by the concept or trend of significant increase. Models based on the probability of an event occurring and taking into account the concept of uncertainty are often represented by probabilistic models or stochastic models. Stochastic models are used to model queuing systems that have variations in the process, such as manufacturing systems that use random variables to model the range. This stochastic model is used to predict the performance of queuing systems that have variations in the process, such as the application of the M / M / 1 queuing model to the vehicle queuing system at the northern ringroad three intersection to predict the level of busyness on the east and west arms. The contribution of this research is that stochastic models can also be used to analyze and optimize complex business processes by considering random factors that affect the system. The application of stochastic models in supply chain management allows companies to more accurately estimate customer demand and optimize inventory. In addition, stochastic models can be used in financial risk analysis to evaluate various investment scenarios and help make better decisions. The use of stochastic models in the service industry can help improve operational efficiency by predicting customer arrival patterns and optimizing resource allocation. In the context of urban planning, stochastic models can be applied to analyze traffic patterns and design more effective transportation infrastructure.

Abstract

In the digital era, the ability to understand and analyze data is very important for students. Statistics, a part of mathematics, is widely used in various fields, but its learning in schools is still often only theoretical and manual. SPSS is a data analysis software that can help students learn statistics in a more practical and interactive way. With SPSS, students can more easily understand concepts, hone analytical skills, and be ready to face the data-driven world of work. However, there are still many students who are not familiar with using SPSS due to lack of access and training. Therefore, this service aims to introduce and train students to use SPSS so that they are better prepared in the digital era. The method of this service activity is training by means of lectures to explain the basic concepts and introduction of SPSS, demonstrations to show how to use SPSS features and exercises so that participants can directly practice data processing with SPSS. SPSS is a software used to easily process and analyze statistical data. Data can be entered directly or copied from Excel into SPSS. Analysis is done through the menus, and results can be copied to Word, Excel, or PowerPoint for reports or presentations. One of the features of SPSS is Descriptive Statistics, which shows the minimum, maximum, mean and standard deviation of data. With SPSS, students can directly process and analyze data, making it easier to understand and present data correctly. Their analytical skills also improve, especially in using basic statistics to solve real problems. Learning with SPSS helps students better understand statistics and be ready to face the digital world that requires data analysis skills.

Abstract

Uji normalitas merupakan langkah kritis dalam analisis data, terutama ketika menggunakan metode statistik parametrik seperti uji t, ANOVA, atau regresi linier, yang memerlukan asumsi normalitas data. Dalam penelitian ini, dilakukan analisis terhadap beberapa metode uji normalitas, seperti Shapiro-Wilk, Kolmogorov-Smirnov, Anderson-Darling, Liliefors, D’Agustino’s K2 Test dan Shapiro-Francia Test, untuk menentukan metode mana yang paling efektif dalam mendeteksi penyimpangan dari distribusi normal. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mencakup data jam belajar mahasiswa prodi matematika FMIPA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemilihan metode uji normalitas yang paling efektif dan konsisten adalah uji Shapiro-Wilk karena  cocok untuk berbagai ukuran sampel terutama sampel kecil dan sedang sementara Kolmogorov-Smirnov dan Anderson-Darling lebih cocok untuk sampel besar

Abstract

Amid the onslaught of technology and social media, vocational school students' interest in reading in Indonesia is still like a fading fire. Lack of access to books, minimal interest in reading, and an undeveloped literacy culture in the school environment are the dominant factors. This condition hampers the learning achievement and critical thinking abilities of vocational school students. The first step is to delve into the reading habits of vocational school students and the factors that influence them. The time has come for the promotion of literacy culture to be launched. Various interesting and interactive activities are packaged to attract the interest of vocational school students. Starting from counseling about the importance of reading, introduction to various types of books, to discussions and reading competitions. This is clear evidence that the socialization of literacy culture is able to revive interest in reading among vocational school students. This research concludes that literacy culture socialization is an effective way to increase vocational school students' interest in reading. Sustainable efforts are needed to instill a culture of literacy in the school environment, involving collaboration between schools, parents and the community.

Abstract

Queues are a phenomenon that often occurs in people's lives, especially in the service industry, such as what happens at SPBU 14.211.207 Pematangsiantar where queues start in the morning. This research aims to determine the optimal level of service system for refueling at SPBU 14.211.07 Pematangsiantar. The type of research used in this research is applied research, namely research carried out to obtain information used to solve problems using quantitative methods to determine the optimal level of service systems at gas stations. Data collection was carried out by observing and recording queues that occurred in the morning. The queuing model used is Multiple Channel Single Phase with First In First Out (FIFO) queuing discipline. From the results of calculating the performance of the queuing system at SPBU 14.211.207 Pematangsiantar, adding or more servers will reduce the service busyness level (p), where when using one server the busyness level is 80%, whereas when using two servers the busyness level is 40%. Abstract

Handphone merupakan alat telekomunikasi yang telah berkembang pesat di seluruh dunia, termasuk Indonesia. Dengan beragam merek dan spesifikasi yang tersedia, konsumen memiliki banyak opsi saat membeli handphone. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem pendukung keputusan dalam pemilihan handphone, yang dapat membantu konsumen menemukan produk yang sesuai dengan keinginan dan kebutuhan mereka. Sistem berbasis web ini akan menggunakan metode Multi Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT) untuk mengevaluasi kriteria handphone. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dikumpulkan adalah menggunakan kuesioner, kriteria yang dianalisis meliputi harga, RAM, baterai, ROM, kamera, layar. Setiap kriteria akan memiliki bobot kepentingan, dan nilai utilitasnya akan dihitung melalui normalisasi matriks yang dikalikan dengan bobot masing-masing kriteria, lalu dijumlahkan dengan menggunakan excel. Sistem ini akan menyajikan hasil perhitungan MAUT dalam bentuk peringkat, sehingga mampu memberikan rekomendasi handphone yang tepat sesuai preferensi pembeli. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Vivo y28 berada di peringkat pertama dengan jumlah bobot 0,673878 dan Vivo Y28 Series berada di peringkat terakhir dengan jumlah bobot 0,003289.

Abstract

Analisis Variansi (ANOVA) adalah metode statistik yang digunakan untuk menguji perbedaan rata-rata lebih dari dua kelompok. Tujuan utama ANOVA adalah untuk menentukan apakah variabilitas dalam data dapat dijelaskan oleh faktor yang diuji atau terjadi secara acak. Dalam ANOVA, terdapat dua jenis variansi yang dianalisis, yaitu variansi antar kelompok (antara perlakuan atau grup yang diuji) dan variansi dalam kelompok (variansi yang terjadi di dalam tiap grup yang diuji). Hasil perbandingan antara keduanya digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis nol bahwa semua rata-rata kelompok adalah sama. Dalam contoh yang diberikan, terdapat empat kelompok dengan jumlah sampel berbeda yang diuji untuk mengidentifikasi perbedaan rata-rata di antara mereka. Dengan menggunakan rumus ANOVA, diperoleh nilai F hitung sebesar 3,86, yang dibandingkan dengan nilai F tabel pada derajat kebebasan yang relevan. Hasil perbandingan menunjukkan bahwa F hitung lebih besar dari F tabel (nilai F tabel 2,80 pada tingkat signifikansi 0,05), sehingga hipotesis nol ditolak, yang menyimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan signifikan antar kelompok. Selain itu, analisis ini juga menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan dari perlakuan yang diuji terhadap variabel dependen. Kesimpulannya, ANOVA memungkinkan pengujian perbedaan rata-rata antara lebih dari dua kelompok secara simultan dan efektif mengidentifikasi faktor yang mempengaruhi variabel dependen. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, disarankan agar ANOVA digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis dengan lebih dari dua grup dalam penelitian eksperimen agar hasil yang diperoleh lebih valid dan terhindar dari kesalahan tipe I.
