Abstract

Pembelajaran tematik memfokuksan kepada uraian beragam konsep yang dipelajarinya lewat pengalaman langsung yang mengaitkan satu mata pelajaran dengan mata pelajaran lain, sehingga peserta didik aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan di kelas serta proses dalam menentukan keputusan atau ketetapan. Sosialisasi ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menambah pengetahuan, keterampilan dan wawasan kebangsaan guru-guru . Metode pelaksanaan program yang digunakan adalah ceramah dan metode tanya jawab bagi guru-guru SD untuk memberikan pemahaman tentang hakekat. Diakhir kegiatan ini, diadakan presentasi hasil bahan ajar yang dibuat peserta dalam power point disusul dengan pemberian umpan balik dan masukan terhadap karya tersebut. Dalam sosialisasi yang diberikan bahwa upaya sosialisasi yang dapat dilakukan oleh guru yaitu memberikan proses belajar mengajar yang lebih menarik dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi yang bersinergis dengan informasi mengenai Literasi Digital dalam meningkatkan wawasan kebangsaan. Media ini bisa dilakukan dimana saja dan kapan saja. Selain itu Kegiatan belajar mengajar dengan literasi digital ini membantu guru melakukan komunikasi dua arah antara guru dan peserta didik seperti tatap muka di kelas. Kesimpulan dari sosialisai ini adalah guru-guru peserta pelatihan ini mendapatkan pengetahuan.. Diharapkan pengetahuan yang dimiliki oleh guru-guru mengenai literasi digital dapat diteruskan ke masyarakat luas khususnya guru-guru yang ada di kabupaten Simalungun. Dimana guru-guru membutuhkan media yang dapat digunaan saat pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine students' mathematical understanding of number pattern material at Tamansiswa Pematang Siantar Middle School. The results of this research can be concluded that students who have high comprehension abilities can solve questions accurately and correctly. Then you can solve it by writing down what is known and asked about the problem and being able to understand the concept of number patterns and number pattern facts in terms of simple concepts. Students who have high understanding meet all 4 indicators of mathematical understanding that have been selected by researchers. Students who have moderate understanding can solve problems on questions and are able to understand the concept of number patterns and number pattern facts in terms of simple concepts. However, students who had low understanding did not understand the questions given by the researcher. And students who have moderate understanding fulfill 2 indicators of mathematical understanding. Students who have low understanding are unable to understand the problem, cannot state that they know and are asked about a problem, are unable to solve the problem and are unable to complete the operation of the requested problem. The student was very confused in solving the questions, this was proven by the difference in what the question asked for and what he answered and was unable to convey the concepts of number patterns. Students who have low understanding only fulfill 1 indicator of mathematical understanding.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) method on the mathematical communication skills of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 9 Pematangsiantar after applying the Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) method. The type of research used is experimental research. In this research the author used a quantitative approach. The design used in this research is One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. This research involved an experimental class that was treated with the Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) learning method and then given pre-test and post-test treatment to draw conclusions. For more details, see table 3.1 below. The research results obtained showed that the Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) method had an influence on students' mathematical communication skills, reaching an average pre-test score in the Experiment class of 48.63, while the average score was 48.63. Post-test average in the Experiment class was 78.63. This proves that the Experimental class has further improved abilities after being given treatment using the TAPPS Method.

Abstract

This article explains the numeracy literacy abilities of junior high school students in solving word problems in algebraic operations material. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Siantar with a total of 32 students. Data was obtained through numeracy literacy skills tests and interview results, then the data was analyzed using descriptive study quality. The research results show that the ability of students with the highest scores can fulfill two to three indicators, while students with low numeracy literacy skills test scores only fulfill one indicator test. Failure to fulfill indicators is caused by student errors, including: 1) Not writing down the data information that is known and being asked, 2) Making mistakes in solving problems, 3) Making mistakes in calculating, and 4) Not writing conclusions on the questions obtained from the answers.

Abstract

Amid the onslaught of technology and social media, vocational school students' interest in reading in Indonesia is still like a fading fire. Lack of access to books, minimal interest in reading, and an undeveloped literacy culture in the school environment are the dominant factors. This condition hampers the learning achievement and critical thinking abilities of vocational school students. The first step is to delve into the reading habits of vocational school students and the factors that influence them. The time has come for the promotion of literacy culture to be launched. Various interesting and interactive activities are packaged to attract the interest of vocational school students. Starting from counseling about the importance of reading, introduction to various types of books, to discussions and reading competitions. This is clear evidence that the socialization of literacy culture is able to revive interest in reading among vocational school students. This research concludes that literacy culture socialization is an effective way to increase vocational school students' interest in reading. Sustainable efforts are needed to instill a culture of literacy in the school environment, involving collaboration between schools, parents and the community.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis jenis-jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa pada materi persamaan fungsi kuadrat ditinjau dari perbedaan gender di kelas IX SMP Negeri 3 Pematangsiantar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 27 siswa yang terdiri dari siswa laki-laki dan perempuan. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes uraian dan pedoman wawancara, yang digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi serta mengklasifikasikan kesalahan siswa menurut kastolan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa baik siswa laki-laki maupun perempuan melakukan berbagai jenis kesalahan, di antaranya kesalahan fakta, kesalahan konsep, kesalahan prosedur, dan kesalahan operasi. Persentase kesalahan tertinggi ditemukan pada kesalahan Teknik, dengan kecenderungan berbeda antara siswa laki-laki dan perempuan. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah perbedaan gender memengaruhi kecenderungan jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa, sehingga diperlukan strategi pembelajaran yang adaptif untuk meminimalkan kesalahan tersebut.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Berdasarkan observasi awal di SMA Negeri 3 Pematangsiantar, ditemukan bahwa siswa kelas XII memiliki kemampuan pemecahan masalah yang kurang baik pada materi statistika, di mana 85% dari 36 siswa tidak mampu memenuhi indikator pemecahan masalah Polya. Kurangnya kemampuan ini disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, seperti siswa tidak memahami soal, langsung mencari rumus, dan kurangnya inovasi pembelajaran yang cenderung konvensional. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Solving terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa pada materi statistika. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif eksperimen semu dengan desain Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XII MIA di SMA Negeri 3 Pematangsiantar, dengan sampel sebanyak 350 siswa, yang terdiri dari kelas XII-MIA1 sebagai kelas kontrol dan XII-MIA3 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Problem Solving memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Hal ini didukung oleh hasil uji-t di mana nilai t-hitung > t-tabel (9,790 > 2,032), yang berarti H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Selain itu, besar pengaruhnya ditunjukkan oleh koefisien determinasi sebesar 73,8%. Ini mengindikasikan bahwa 73,8% kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dipengaruhi oleh penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Solving, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.

Abstract

Amidst the shifting paradigm of the global industry, creativity has mutated from a mere supplementary skill into a primary modality for Vocational High School (SMK) graduates to navigate the uncertainties of the labor market. However, a sociological gap persists between the idealism of industrial demands and the reality of vocational learning, which is often ensnared in rigid skill mechanization. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka (Independent Curriculum) through the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model as an instrument to reconstruct student creativity. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, this study evaluates the interaction dynamics between curricular autonomy, the teacher's role as a facilitator, and student engagement in contextual projects. The findings indicate that although the Kurikulum Merdeka provides extensive space for flexibility, the enhancement of student creativity does not occur automatically; rather, it relies heavily on the ability of educational actors to engage in "creative negotiation" amidst infrastructural constraints and the barriers of a passive learning culture. Theoretically, this study asserts that creativity in vocational schools is a result of the dialectic between open curriculum design and a learning ecosystem that supports risk-taking. These results contribute to the development of vocational learning models that are not merely oriented toward administrative compliance but toward strengthening the transformative inventive power of graduates.

Abstract

Arsyila Bakery, a bakery MSME, faces challenges in determining the most efficient donut production combination. Production decisions have been based on intuition, potentially leading to waste of raw materials and inability to generate maximum profits. This study aims to formulate a Linear Program model as a decision-making tool in determining donut production strategies, namely Potato Donuts x_1 and Milk Donuts x_2, in order to obtain optimal daily profits. A quantitative approach is used through the Linear Program optimization method with the objective function of maximizing profits z = 3000x_1 + 2000x_2, which is limited by nine constraints of raw material availability and production capacity. The model is solved using the Simplex Method algorithm through POM-QM software for Windows. The analysis results show that the optimal solution is achieved by producing 8 units of Potato Donuts and 0 units of Milk Donuts, resulting in a maximum profit of Rp24,000 per day. The binding constraints in the model are Sugar and Potatoes, which are the main limiting factors of production. The economic value (shadow price) indicates that the addition of sugar has the greatest impact on increasing profits, at IDR 2,000 per kilogram, followed by potatoes at IDR 5,000 per kilogram. Based on these findings, it is recommended that Arsyila Bakery implement this optimal production combination and prioritize increasing sugar stock to support improved operational performance and achieve higher profits.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze drug inventory control at Kasih Clinic using the ABC method with the help of POM-QM software for Windows. Based on the Pareto principle, the results of data processing indicate that inventory items can be classified into three main groups based on the contribution of usage value to total inventory costs. Group A consists of five main drug items that contribute the most to inventory value, which is around 87.48%, despite the relatively small number of items. This group requires strict control because it has a significant financial impact. Group B includes two drug items with a cumulative contribution of usage value up to 97.55% and requires periodic monitoring with a medium priority level. Meanwhile, group C consists of most drug items but only contributes around 2.45% of the total usage value, so it can be managed with a simpler control system. Overall, the application of the ABC method has proven effective in identifying drug inventory control priorities objectively and based on economic value, thus supporting more efficient hospital inventory management decisions
