Abstract

Constructing the awareness of coexisting peacefully regardless of differences in religion, ethnicity or language is an absolute thing that must be instilled in Indonesia from an early age in the younger generation as a multicultural country. If there is no such efforts to construct that awareness, acts of intolerance will continue to develop and have even penetrated the younger generation of students. For this reason, awareness of the importance of multiculturalism needs to be instilled, including through multicultural Islamic education. This article aims to discuss Fethullah Gulen's thoughts on Islamic education and how it is integrated into multicultural Islamic education in Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative method with a content analysis approach. The main data sources are taken from Islamic education theories and two main books (Toward a Global Civilization of Love and Tolerance and Multicultural Education: Issues and Perspectives) and are supported by 20 related journal articles. All data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman technique. The findings show that there are nine themes of integration for the development of multicultural Islamic education. The nine themes are grouped into three elements, namely: Love (love for God, compassion for human beings (humanism), forgiveness, love for science, and love for nature); Tolerance and Dialogue (respect for differences in thoughts and religions, love as the basis for tolerance, and dialogue as a means of building tolerance). These findings can be used as a reference on how multicultural education should be implemented in Indonesia as well as a multicultural education platform in an Islamic country.

Abstract

This study aims to find an integrity-value-based madrasah development model in Banyumas, Indonesia. Madrasahs, as one of the Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia, play a strategic role in achieving national education goals. Therefore, they need to be developed optimally, and strengthening the values of integrity is a key solution for madrasah development. This qualitative field research employs a case study approach. Data collection techniques used include interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that the integrity values developed by the madrasahs in Banyumas include hard work, responsibility, discipline, and cooperation, involving all members of the madrasah community, including the head of the madrasah, teachers, and students. The implementation of the madrasah development model through integrity values involves creating clear rules, managing and socializing these rules, and finally, habituating the madrasah community to follow them. By implementing these aspects, the madrasahs in Banyumas can strengthen their integrity values and, consequently, develop their institutions effectively.

Abstract

The era of 5.0 has had an impact that is not entirely good, even advances in information and technology have become one of the causes of moral degradation in children. If this is allowed to continue, a younger generation will emerge who are intellectually superior but weak morally. This is at the same time an indicator of the failure of the world of education, because the ultimate goal of education is to create a moral generation. For this reason, efforts to anticipate moral degradation in children as a result of the 5.0 era must be carried out, including through the reconstruction of children's education in Islam. This study aims to offer readers a formulation of children's education in Islam in the era of society 5.0 through the integration of the thoughts of two Indonesian Muslim scholars, namely M. Quraish Shihab and Buya Hamka. This research is a qualitative research type which is library research by making a systematic review as a research approach. The findings illustrate that children's education in Islam in the 5.0 era can be done through four things, namely: First, strengthening the goal of creating humans as servants. Second, the strengthening of gratitude which is implemented in the spirit of talabul 'ilmi. Third, aqidah or monotheism education about the Oneness of Allah must be instilled from an early age. Fourth, the cultivation of good morals, especially devotion to parents and also to others and the environment, is used as the direction of children's education in Islam.

Abstract

The research aims to trace the historicity of Islamic education at Al-irsyad and Jami'at Khair up to the present, while the research method used is library research through an in-depth analysis of the history and educational systems of the two institutions. By presenting the expected results, this research aims to understand better the effectiveness of the educational methods applied. These results may include assessing students' understanding of Islamic history and educational material Al-irsyad and Jamiat Khair. Therefore, this summary provides a comprehensive view of the contribution of research to innovation and improving the quality of Islamic education in Al Irsyad and Jami'atul Khair. By developing new organizational patterns, the Al Irsyad and Jamiat Khair movements are trying to answer the challenges and demands of modern education and da'wah in the era of globalization. The Al Irsyad organization guides the carrying out of the mandate of educational institutions under their guidance, including the formulation of educational foundations, educational insights, and reference school models in Islamic education.

Abstract

This study was aimed at examining the pattern of community participation in the planning of Islamic education funding, especially in the Taman Pendidikan Al Qur'an (TPQ). This research is important because many Islamic educational institutions had low standard quality and even stopped their activities because of weak education funding, including in the realm of financial planning. Community participation is considered appropriate for strengthening education financing planning as a form of equitable democracy, which means that the community has the right to get quality education and is obliged to provide funds. This research is qualitative descriptive field research with case studies as its approach. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation, while the analysis of this research follows the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and inference. The obtained data shows that the presence of active community participation with cultural religious functional patterns in the planning of Islamic education financing at TPQ in Banyumas Regency, Central Java indicates an increase in awareness and serious attention of the community towards religious education for their children. Therefore, it is time for Islamic education institutions to be able to utilize this momentum as part of efforts to improve the quality of Islamic education through strengthening education funding. Abstract

Good character is the ultimate and main goal in education. Field facts show that not a few young people, even students, commit immoral acts that should not be done. This indicates that the goals of education in Indonesia have not been achieved perfectly. Various factors contributed to this failure, including weak character education planning. This study aims to analyze the planning of character education in SD Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah 02 Purwokerto. This research is a type of field research that is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that the planning of character education at SD Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah 02 Purwokerto is a participatory professional structural, namely character education planning that involves various parties in the educational institution starting from the level of foundation management (LPP), school management (headmaster) and vice principals), homeroom teachers/teachers to the active involvement of guardians of students with duties and responsibilities according to their respective capacities for the achievement of the goals that have been set. The stages of character education planning carried out by SD Al Irsyad Al Islamiyyah 02 Purwokerto include determining character education goals, distributing tasks and responsibilities (job descriptions, and developing character education plans.

Abstract

Strategi kepala sekolah dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka merupakan usaha kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kualitas mutu pendidikan, sebagai seorang manajer kepala sekolah memiliki tugas untuk memimpin lembaga pendidikan menuju kesuksesan suatu program unggulan di sekolah yang dipimpin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana strategi kepala sekolah dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka di SD Negeri 1 Pasir Kidul Kecamatan Purwokerto Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif metode deskriptif. teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah dan guru. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa strategi kepala sekolah dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka di SD Negeri 1 Pasir Kidul Kecamatan Purwokerto Barat meliputi strategi kepala sekolah, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi serta kendala dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka. Dalam strategi kepala sekolah langkah pertama melakukan sosialisasi kurikulum merdeka, memberikan pelatihan tentang pemahaman kurikulum merdeka, perencanaan diawali dengan pembuatan modul ajar, metode ajar serta pembagian jam mengajar guru, pelaksanaan pembelajaran sesuai dengan ketentuan pemerintah dan penerapan kurikulum merdeka menyesuaikan dengan karakteristik warga sekolah, evaluasi pembelajaran menggunakan penilaian formatif dan penilaian sumatif untuk evaluasi kurikulum merdeka dilaksanakan setiap 1 minggu sekali diikuti seluruh guru untuk mengetahui keefektifan pengimplementasian kurikulum merdeka di sekolah.

Abstract

Indonesia adalah negara multikultural, dengan keberagaman yang rentan terhadap permasalahan seperti ekstremisme, radikalisme, dan intoleransi. Oleh karena itu diperlukan upaya untuk menanggulangi masalah ini, salah satunya melalui pendidikan agama yang berfokus pada moderasi beragama. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis bagaimana peran guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam menanamkan sikap moderasi beragama siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Sumbang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah, guru PAI, serta siswa. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, dengan uji keabsahan menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru PAI memiliki peran yang signifikan sebagai conservator, inovator, organisator, transformator dan transmiter nilai-nilai moderasi beragama. Guru tidak hanya menyampaikan ajaran agama saja, namun menampilkan teladan dalam sikap toleran, adil, dan seimbang yang dapat dicontoh oleh siswa. Guru juga berperan sebagai motivator dan pembimbing dalam membantu siswa memahami dan menerapkan nilai moderasi baik di dalam maupun di luar kelas. Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa guru PAI memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk pola pikir dan karakter moderat siswa.
