Abstract

The objectives of this study are 1) to find out the implementation of online learning model in English Study Program, State Polytechnic of Madiun, 2) to find out the obstacle factors in the implementation of online learning in English Study Program, State Polytechnic of Madiun, and 3) to know the supporting factors in the online learning process in English Study Program, State Polytechnic of Madiun. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. Analysis of research data obtained from the process of systematically searching and compiling, data obtained from observations, interviews, and documentation followed by data collection procedures, data reduction, data presentation, conclusions and verification, and checking the validity of the data (triangulation). The results of this study are 1) the implementation of online learning requires lesson plan, the effectiveness, efficiency and creativity of teachers in the online learning process, various applications in online learning, and an assessment in online learning. 2) Inhibiting factors in the implementation of online learning are communication saturation, limited interpersonal communication, limited space and time in learning activities, reduced student self-confidence, limited technology and information, the emergence of feelings of loneliness, limited media, online communication fatigue and limited media literacy, and student enthusiasm in participating in learning is still low. 3) The supporting factor in the online learning process is stable signal quality and adequate internet quota to support the success of online learning.

Abstract

Work discipline is a person's awareness and willingness to comply with all applicable company regulations and social norms. One of the elements to developing excellence in human resources is work discipline. The company's work culture is designed to maximize employee performance, which will have an effect on the expansion of the company's performance.. The better the work discipline of employees, the company's goals will be achieved optimally. This study aims to determine the work discipline of Quality Control Department employees at PT Industri Kereta Api (Persero) Madiun which is focused on strategies to build work discipline according to Priansa (2019). Descriptive qualitative methodology is used in this research. The data sources used include primary data sources from observation and interviews, secondary data sources from documentation, and online sources. The data obtained was then presented systematically and then compared with Priansa's theory regarding strategies to build work discipline consisting of seven indicators. The result show that the Quality Control Department has implemented a strategy to build employee work discipline, namely by providing awards, training, counseling, and applying technology within the company. However, the Quality Control Department has not implemented a strategy to build work discipline, build an ergonomic workplace environment, avoid excessive demands on employees, and take vacations

Abstract

The primary goal of this study, which started with clarity English-speaking score of 62, was to improve students' clarity English-speaking skills through video safety instruction adopting Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. Employing the Collaborative Classroom Action Research Methodology, this study consists of four main stages, which are: planning, action, observation, and reflection. These phases were completed in discrete cycles. Two meetings are held in each cycle. A variety of tools were used to gather data, such as field notes to document classroom dynamics, surveys to assess students' opinions of PBL practice, and video safety instruction activities to gauge clarity English-speaking skill. Students enrolled in the State Polytechnic's D3 English Study Program in their second semester participated in this study. The results showed that students' clarity English-speaking skills significantly improved throughout the course of the two cycles. The overall score for Cycle I was 1,400, with an average of 70 and a 70% success rate. The overall score rose to 1,780 in Cycle II, with a89% success rate and an average of 89. This demonstrates a significant improvement in students' confidence and active participation in video safety instruction activities in addition to their numerical achievement. Additionally, there was a noticeable improvement in the PBL approach's skill to facilitate learning. The average effectiveness score increased to 89% in Cycle II from 70% in Cycle I. These results imply that combining organized discourse with PBL offers a successful strategy for improving students' clarity English-speaking skills. Additionally, it emphasizes how cooperative classroom action research can support reflective teaching strategies and long-term learning enhancement.

Abstract

Persaingan bisnis yang semakin ketat pada era disruptive innovation menuntut perusahaan untuk terus melakukan pembaruan dalam berbagai aspek, baik produk, proses, maupun model bisnis. Manajemen inovasi hadir sebagai pendekatan sistematis yang memungkinkan organisasi mengelola gagasan baru secara terstruktur, mulai dari tahap ideasi hingga implementasi, sehingga mampu menciptakan nilai tambah yang berkelanjutan. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran manajemen inovasi dalam meningkatkan keunggulan kompetitif perusahaan melalui pendekatan studi kepustakaan (library research). Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen inovasi yang dikelola secara efektif berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan efisiensi operasional, diferensiasi produk, kepuasan pelanggan, dan kemampuan adaptasi perusahaan terhadap perubahan lingkungan bisnis. Faktor-faktor pendukung keberhasilan inovasi meliputi kepemimpinan transformasional, budaya organisasi yang terbuka terhadap perubahan, ketersediaan sumber daya research and development (R&D), serta kolaborasi dengan pemangku kepentingan eksternal melalui skema open innovation. Sebaliknya, hambatan birokrasi, keterbatasan anggaran, dan resistensi terhadap perubahan menjadi tantangan utama dalam implementasi inovasi. Artikel ini merekomendasikan agar perusahaan membangun ekosistem inovasi yang terintegrasi dengan strategi bisnis jangka panjang guna mempertahankan sustainable competitive advantage di tengah dinamika pasar global.
