Abstract

In this study, researchers conducted research on employee discipline at PT. Total Jaya International Lubuk Pakam, with theresearch title "Employee Discipline Analysis at PT. Total Jaya International Lubuk Pakam ". Researchers want to know howthe discipline of employees at PT. Total Jaya International Lubuk Pakam. Researchers used descriptive qualitative methodsand used data collection techniques namely structured interviews, Miles and Huberman model data analysis methodsconsisting of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that PT. Total JayaInternational Lubuk Pakam has established rules. Among them are hours of entry / exit work, hours of rest and workdiscipline in using office equipment. The conclusion of this research is employee discipline at PT. Total Jaya InternationalLubuk Pakam is still lacking and needs to be improved in time discipline and work discipline.

Abstract

In the implementation of communication also allows the emergence of obstacles. Badrudin (2013) explains these barriersincluding semantic barriers, technical barriers, biological barriers, psychological barriers, and ability barriers. In conductingthis research, the writer uses qualitative research methods. The purpose of this study is to find out clearly about the barriersto the application of communication at PT. Sancho Mitra Sejahtera, Medan. Based on the level of explanation, this type ofresearch is descriptive research. Data collection methods used were structured interviews and then analyzed through threestages of activity namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The author draws researchconclusions about communication barriers at PT. Sancho Mitra Sejahtera, Medan in the marketing division there are 4types, namely: semantic barriers, technical barriers, psychological barriers, and ability barriers. Based on the research, theauthor found that In the delivery or reception of information, there has been a misunderstanding due to the use of words orsentences that are not quite right, for example between superiors and subordinates. Subordinates mistakenly respond towhat their superiors say so that they do what their superiors are asking to do. Communication problems due to poorcommunication tools usually occur with the use of memos and messengers. Subordinates experience obstacles whencommunicating with superiors because they must be more careful in talking and also more polite and reticent. Not allinterlocutors have good ability to respond to messages or information conveyed. Error responding to messages is morecommon in the use of communication in writing.

Abstract

MSMEs are the largest contributor to GDP in Indonesia but are still constrained and have difficulty determining effective promotional media, especially during the current New Normal period so that they can survive and increase income from day by day. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of MSME online advertisements in Medan City which are displayed on social media. The results of this study are expected to be useful for MSMEs in Medan City to provide advertisements for these parties optimally so that they get the expected results. The data used in this study were obtained from 100 samples who are residents of Medan City and are social media users who have seen MSME advertisements on social media. The data analysis technique used is the EPIC method introduced by The Nielsen Company. Where the variables are empathy (empathy), persuasion (persuasion), impact (impact), and communication (communication). The results of the EPIC analysis for each variable were empathy = 3.715, persuasion = 3.855, impact = 3.7125, and communication = 3.9025. Of the four variables studied, if included in the effectiveness scale, the four results of the analysis of these variables are partially in the "effective" range. The EPIC rate value which is the average value of the four variables is at 3.79625. This value is in the “effective” range on the effectiveness scale range.

Abstract

Tujuan dari peneiltian ini adalah untuk menetahui keunggulan bersaing Maskapai AirAsia  menggunakan analasis SWOT. Metode  yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil dari analisis SWOT ini adalah Kekuatan: AirAsia adalah menawarkan penerbangan dengan harga murah tetapi dengan kualitas yang cukup baik, mengadakan promo pembelian tiket, cara pemesanan tiket yang beragam, menawarkan kemudahan dalam pembayaran, dan memiliki fasilitas check-in secara online, dan memiliki fasilitas bandara khusus di Malaysia. Kelemahan AirAsia yaitu: tidak memiliki pemeliharaan, perbaikan dan pemeriksaan fasilitas sendiri, penumpang harus membayar biaya tambahan atau biaya add-on jika ingin service yang lebih, tidak ada kerjasama dengan maskapai lain untuk mengembangkan rute yang belum dijangkau. Peluang: kebutuhan akan sarana transportasi udara masih sangat tinggi khususnya di Asia Tenggara, banyaknya objek pariwisata yang tersebar di Asia Tenggara dan khusunya Indonesia. Ancaman: kecelakaan, serangan teroris, dan bencana, peraturan penerbangan dan kebijakan pemerintah yang ada, gangguan sistem pada penjualan secara online, masuknya kompetitor atau penerbangan murah lain ke pasar, tanggapan masyarakat yang mengasumsikan biaya rendah dapat membahayakan keamanan.
