Abstract

The development of technology nowadays is very rapid in various fields especially in industrialization that can support a reliable production process, one of which is a motor operated valve (MOV) which is expected to operate continuously. At PT TPPI, there are 37 motor operated valve that are installed using Modbus communication, which currently has a problem with communication namely blinking (opening and closing for a moment) which sits on the condensate trip pump so the refinery stops which can cause billions of rupiah in losses. With these losses, various tests are carried out so that they can find the cause of the MOV blinking that can increase the depth of the system. Checking or retrieving data based on Ohm’s legal theory, conductors, insulators, induction electric motors, motors ( Motor Operated valve), PLC, DCS and Modbus. Based on this theory. It can determine the resistance, isolator and conductor of the RS485 cable whether it is still good or not, besides that it can also know the ability of MOV, PLC, DCS whether it can still send signals using software modbus. This testing uses a Fluke brand multi meter with type 875 to measure the resistance that the resistance value obtained is greater than the calculation results, for testing isulation resistance using the Kyoritsu brand megger with the 3007A model the value is very good. To check DCS using Dell delta V server type 690 precision, it is found that serial communication cannot be redundant, whereas for checking PLC master station using Dell inspiration 1464 laptop with modscan 32 software, the results obtained PLC A can output signals and PLC B signal intermittent.  This research or this analysis can find out MOV blinking caused by cable resistance, PLC master station B and Modbus serial.DOI : https://doi.org/10.26905/jeemecs.v3i2.4163

Abstract

Seeing the condition of water availability with good quality which is starting to decrease, it is necessary to have water treatment before the water is suitable for use. Therefore, in this research, a more effective digital measuring instrument is designed to measure water quality in terms of pH and water clarity. The design of tools in the form of natural filtration and pH measuring devices. This study used several water samples, namely rainwater and well water from different locations. Based on the test results, the tool works effectively with a pH value that has been in the standard range from the start (6.5-9) after 4 times of filtration, which is between 6.82-7.60 so that the pH value of the water will be maintained in a condition that is fit for use. . For acidic and alkaline pH categories, it requires repeated processing to get the value according to the standard fit for use

Abstract

Abstract

Air is a layer of gas that covers the Earth. Clean air is air that is free of impurities or substances that can poison the body and is commonly found in areas where there are many plants. The realization is done through a combination of the TGS 2442 sensor on the detector with a high voltage system on the T-Box. The TGS2442 sensor is a high sensitivity sensor to carbon monoxide gas. Thus, the resulting carbon monoxide gas exhaust that has gone through the process will produce oxygen gas because the steel plate on the T-Box functions as a carbon binder. The amount of smoke, which is the output form, is already in the form of ppm, which can be found using the display on the serial monitor and by calibrating using a gas analyzer. The gas analyzer is in the lowest range, namely 100ppm, the sensor detects 116ppm with a percent error of 16%. And when the gas analyzer is in the highest range of 600ppm, the sensor detects 603ppm with an error of 0.5%.

Abstract

This research focuses on the energy efficiency needed by sensor nodes in the network architecture i.e, LEACH, HEED, LEACH-TLCH and PEGASIS according to the Routing Protocol Low Power and Lossy Network (RPL) pattern. In this research compared all algorithms based on the number of different sensor nodes. In this research, there is no focus on the type of sensor used but rests on the conclusions of the total results of the Overall energy (Avg_Energy) on clustering with the most appropriate networking strategy. In this research, 20, 50 and 100 nodes were tested in the HEED, LEACH, LEACH-TLCH and PEGASIS Algorithms respectively. furthermore, from the results of testing the total Power (mW) sensor obtained from the sum of 4 components of the Power Sensor node, i.e, CPU Power, Power LPM, Power TX (Transmitter) and Power Rx (Receiver), concludes the Power Consumption sensor node is affected by the number of nodes found on the Sensor Node Network Architecture, the lowest Power Consumption is the LEACH Algorithm Protocol with a total of 2,038 mW at 100 nodes, while the highest Power Consumption is LEACH-TLCH Protocol Algorithm 4,851 mW with 100 nodes followed by PEGASIS with total Consumption 4.31 mW. accordingly the simulation, At the lowest sensor node in this experiment, which is 20 nodes, LEACH produces the lowest total Power of 1.21 mW, while the highest is PEGASIS 1,361 mW. At the number of 50 nodes, the lowest is HEED with a power consumption of 1,558 mW, this result is only 0.046 mW with the LEACH Algorithm Protocol which is 1,604 mW. Furthermore, by building the right sensor network (WSN) it will support IoT networks with long sensor lifetime.

Abstract

Tsunamis are one of the most unforeseen natural disasters, factors or signs of a tsunami occurring among others is the sudden reflux of seawater which is due to the broken plate of the underlying sea floor receding water, the plate fault is caused by seismic ground-based earthquakes, areas ever experienced a previous fault is likely to occur in the same quake place this is because the slabs can not coalesce or return like the original. for it needed a prototype system that can detecting the early detection of a tsunami that could cost many lives. Abstract

Strawberry is a kind of plant that can grow well in the highlands. The cultivation of strawberry plants requires a large area of ​​land, whereas in urban areas the land is increasingly narrow. The best solution to overcome this is by cultivating an aeroponic system. Aeroponic systems utilize the element of water or solution which is sprayed in the form of mist and will hit the roots of plants. The pH monitoring system in strawberry plants is carried out to observe changes in the PH of the water sprayed to the roots of the plants according to the PH requirements of the strawberry plants. The monitoring system using Android with a user interface that is easy to use and PH information of strawberry plants can be easily monitored. At pH, it has an error of 0.33%, while for other tests it has an error of 0.16%. For sending data with the HC05 module testing with a distance of 10 meters and 20 meters the device can be connected properly and data reception is also good. For a distance of 25 meters and 30 meters, there is a delay in the process of receiving data, for testing distances of 35 meters and 40 meters the receipt of data is incomplete and the data displayed is also irregular. Then for testing with a distance of 55 meters an error occurred and a distance of 57 meters could not be connected

Abstract

Tanaman strawberry merupakan jenis tanaman yang dapat tumbuh dengan baik pada dataran tinggi. Untuk budidaya tanaman strawberry membutuhkan lahan yang luas, sedangkan didaerah perkotaan lahan semakin sempit. Solusi terbaik untuk mengatasi hal tersebut adalah dengan budidaya system aeroponik. sistem aeroponik memanfaatkan unsur air atau larutan yang disemprotkan dalam bentuk kabut dan akan mengenai akar tanaman. System monitoring pH pada tanaman strawberry dilakukan untuk mengamati perubahan pH air yang disemprotkan ke akar tanaman sesuai dengan kebutuhan pH dari tanaman strawberry. System monitoring menggunakan android dengan user interface yang mudah digunakan dan informasi pH tanaman strawberry dapat mudah di monitoring. Pada pH memiliki error 0,33%, sedangkan untuk pengujian lainnya memiliki error 0,16%.Untuk pengiriman data dengan modul HC05 pengujian dengan jarak 10 meter dan 20 meter perangkat dapat terhubung dengan baik dan penerimaan data juga baik. Untuk jarak 25 meter dan 30 meter terjadi delay dalam proses penerimaan data, untuk jarak pengujian 35 meter dan 40 meter penerimaan data tidak komplit dan data yang ditampilak juga tidak beraturan. Kemudian untuk pengujian dengan jarak 55 meter terjadi error dan jarak 57 meter tidak dapat terkoneksi.

Abstract

Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) was established through Permendikbud No. 3 of 2020 concerning National Standards for Higher Education (SN-Dikti). MBKM brings significant changes, where universities must make adjustments to these changes. The success of the implementation of MBKM in higher education is measured using 8 Key Performance Indicators (IKU). One of the 9 BKP that is quite interesting is the National Defense activity or Komponen Cadangan (Komcad). Currently, the Ministry of Defense is preparing derivative regulations from the RI Law Number 23 of 2019 concerning the Management of National Resources for National Defense relating to the formation of Reserve Components. Discipline and Honesty. Student motivation directly influences Interest in Enrolling in the MBKM: Komcad Program, meaning that each student's motivation greatly encourages student interest in enrolling in the MBKM: Komcad program. Indirectly, discipline through Student Motivation has a significant influence on Interest in Enrolling in the MBKM: Komcad Program, meaning that Interest in Enrolling in the MBKM: Komcad Program is strongly influenced by the discipline and motivation of the students themselves.

Abstract

Dengan adanya perkembanganoteknologi pada masa ini, banyak peralatanoyang dirancang untuk memberi kemudahan bagi masyarakat salah satunya adalah teknologi pengolahan makanan. Salah satu makanan yang sering di makan masyarakat Indonesia adalah nasi goreng, Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membuat sistem mesin nasi goreng otomatis menggunakan metode PID menggunakan Arduino Mega 2560, Dalam penelitian ini berhasil membangun dan menerapkan metode PID untuk menemukan sistem pemasakan dan suhu ideal memasak nasi yang menghasil kan nilai eror 2,59%, 4,68% dan 6,21% dengan nilai rata-rata nilai eror.
