Abstract

Currently, students cannot be separated from social media, social media is used to interact and communicate with people they know or do not know through online. Students today tend to be fanatical so that their lives are greatly influenced by technological developments. This also happened to students at Panca Bhakti Rakit Vocational School. Problems that occur in students such as lack of understanding about the use of social media, the benefits of social media, the wrong use of the internet for example to open prohibited sites, the number of frauds, lack of knowledge about industri 4.0, it is necessary to socialize to prepare for the industrial revolution 4.0 in order to have a positive impact from the industrial revolution 4.0, and not fall into its negative impact. The purpose of the training is to introduce the industrial revolution 4.0 to students to improve knowledge, skills and expertise in the field of technology. There are 3 stages of training starting from preparation, implementation and evaluation. The result of the training is to increase students' knowledge of the development of industri 4.0, especially about technological developments.

Abstract

Peran teknologi semakin berkembang pesat, fungsi utama dunia pendidikan adalah menyiapkan sumber daya manusia (SDM) Indonesia yang berkualitas di masa yang akan datang. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran siswa harus terus dikembangkan dan ditingkatkan. peningkatan SDM mencakup pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap sebagai modal utama sekaligus aset bangsa. Teknologi IOT menjadi hal yang penting digunakan pada era digital saat ini. kehadiran IOT dapat meningkatkan dan memaksimalkan kualitas maupun kuantitas produk mulai dari perencanaan, produksi dan hasil. hampir di berbagai bidang peran teknologi IOT memiliki manfaat yang besar seperti pertanian, kesehatan, rumah, pendidikan, pemerintahan dan sebagainya. Keterbatasan sarana dan SDM yang dimiliki pihak sekolah, Maka diperlukan penunjang pembelajaran siswa untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keahlian bidang teknologi Internet of Thing (IOT). Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi peserta bahwa rata rata 100% peserta pelatihan “setuju” dengan Pelatihan ESP8266 bagi siswa SMK N Kutasari Purbalingga untuk Pembelajaran Internet of Think (IOT). Pelatihan dapat membantu siswa meningkatkan pengetahuan, kompetensi dan Keterampilan penggunaan Mikrokontroler ESP8266 sebagai perangkat pembelajaran teknologi Internet of Thing.

Abstract

AMIKOM University in Purwokerto, through its 6 study centers, requires and trains each student to write scientific papers, such as scientific reports, articles, theses, and scientific journals. The survey results agreed upon by the partners highlight several issues in this program. These issues include students' lack of understanding regarding the core issues in research, insufficient preparedness in creating suitable materials, theories, and references before designing a research proposal, and ambiguity in formulating research problems. Students also lack understanding of the research methodology they will use and are not accustomed to writing and citing scientifically. Many students still do not understand research methodology and are less skilled in designing research proposals. The learning process in lectures often feels monotonous because they are dominated by speeches and Q&A sessions, and students are not actively involved enough in searching and digging for information or theories. Only a few students get the opportunity to participate in guided exercises in formulating problems, selecting theories relevant to the problem, and choosing research methodology. This becomes a challenge that must be addressed in this program. The solution to these problems is to conduct training and mentoring for students to improve the quality of student research. In implementing this service, we use the Direct Action Method. This method includes several steps, namely Diagnosing, Action Planning, Action Taking, Evaluating, and Learning. These steps refer to the diagnostic process, action planning, action implementation, evaluation, and learning. This service has been successful in increasing the capacity of student human resources and students' abilities in research, which will benefit students in the future.
