Abstract

The crisis of personality or character can indirectly affect the personality and behavior of adolescents in life. A number of student deviant behaviors such as skipping school, stealing, lying, brawls between students, drugs, and lack of manners are considered failures in character education. This study aims to determine the strategy of improving student character through the Taqwa Character Building program at SD Darul Hikam Bandung. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. In this study, data were collected through direct observation and documentation as well as written reference sources such as journals, theses, and the official blog of SD Darul Hikam Bandung. The findings of this study indicate that the strategy for improving the character of students through the Taqwa Character Building program at the Darul Hikam Elementary School in Bandung is running well and effectively. Internal strategies, in the school environment, are implemented through classroom learning, habituation activities, a school culture that familiarizes with 5S: smile, greeting, greeting, courtesy, and also the existence of a TCB camp program which is a supporter of improving student character. While the external strategy, with the teacher involving parents of students to work together in strengthening the formation of student character.

Abstract

This research was structured with the aim of improving students' reading skills using the library-based learning model for students in class III B MI Nu Nurus Shofa, Bae, Kudus Academic Year 2022/2023. Learning activeness referred to in this study, namely physical activity and mental activity. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), in which the teacher is the executor of learning while the researcher is the observer. The design of this study uses the Kurt Lewin model. This research was carried out in an odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year, namely in November 2022. The subjects of this study were students of class III B MI Nu Nurus Shofa Karangnegara Bae Kudus with a total of 37 students where there were 23 male students and 14 students. female student. The object of research is students' reading ability. Data collection techniques using observation and interviews. Data were analyzed descriptively and presented in tabular form. The results showed that there was an increase in students' reading ability, namely in the first cycle of 64.8% (good category), then in the second cycle it increased to 89.1% (very good category). This means an increase of 24.3%. Thus the use of the library-based learning model in Indonesian subjects can improve the reading ability of class III B MI Nu Nurus Shofa Karangnegara Bae Kudus.

Abstract

Abstrak: Guru seringkali hanya menggunakan ceramah untuk membimbing pembelajaran siswa pada saat pembelajaran, guru menyampaikan materi, dan siswa hanya mendengarkan. Selain itu, satu-satunya bahan yang sering digunakan adalah buku catatan atau lembar kerja, dengan PowerPoint digunakan secara sporadis. Ketika seorang guru mengajukan pertanyaan, mayoritas siswa hanya bisa menanggapi seadanya dan menunggu tanggapan dari siswa lain. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran hanya bersifat pasif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji bagaimana permainan pembelajaran ular tangga digunakan dalam pembelajaran fiqih di madrasah ibtidaiyah. Deskriptif kualitatif adalah metodologi penelitian yang digunakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media ular tangga dapat meningkatkan semangat belajar anak. Dalam penanamannya, pada kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas berpengaruh atau berdampak baik terhadap siswa. Berdasarkan pengamatan bahwa siswa mampu mempelajari dan mengingat mata pelajaran fiqih. Implikasi penelitian ini yaitu dapat memberikan pemahaman mengenai pemanfaatan media ular tangga pada mata pelajaran fiqih di MI, sehingga dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam pencapaian prestasi siswa dan sekolah.

Abstract

Abstract: Teachers often only use lectures to guide student learning during learning, the teacher delivers material, and students only listen. In addition, the only teaching materials that are often used are books that are used to support the process of learning Javanese, namely textbooks and student worksheets. When a teacher asks a question, the majority of students can only respond soberly and wait for responses from other students. The problem experienced by students at MI NU Nurus Shofa in learning Javanese is that they have not fully mastered Kromo Javanese because in their daily lives they still use Indonesian, as well as difficulties in writing, memorizing and reading Javanese script because students find it difficult. This shows that the involvement of students in learning is only passive. The purpose of this study was to examine how the Adaptation of Javanese Language Local Content Learning in the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a descriptive or description approach. This qualitative descriptive approach is carried out by presenting facts obtained from data sources and interviews in the field. The results of the study show that developing Javanese knowledge, attitudes and skills in an effort to preserve Javanese culture for students. In planting, the learning activities in the classroom influence or have a good impact on students. Based on the observation that students are able to learn and remember Javanese language subjects. The implication of this research is that it can provide an understanding of learning Javanese local content in the implementation of the independent curriculum at Islamic elementary schools, so that it can contribute to student and school achievement.
