The research instrument was a questionnairepsychosocial stressors (IPSP), menstrual disorder questionnaire (SPAF) and the behavioral aspects of thequestionnaire. Datas were analysed using Chi-Square test by looking at the value of prevalence ratio andlogistic regression at the significance level of p <0.05 with a confidence interval (CI) of 95%.Result and Discussion: There was a significant correlation between psychosocial stressors and menstrualdisorders (OR; 6.47; CI = 1.436 to 29.165)Conclusion: Adolescents who experienced severe psychosocial stressors six times more likely to experiencemenstrual disorders compared to adolescents who experience mild psychosocial stressorsKeywords: Psychosocial Stressors, menstrual disorders, post-eruption of Merapi, Youth,SMP.ABSTRAKLatar Belakang: Erupsi Merapi dapat menyebabkan kerusakan yang luar biasa, tidak hanya fisik tetapijuga mental yang akan memicu munculnya gangguan jiwa pada remaja bahkan sampai masa dewasa.Pasca erupsi Merapi, remaja dan keluarganya harus pindah dari huntara ke huntap. Abstract

Introduction: The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted the mental health and safety of the elderly, particularly affecting elderly women. Research indicates a rise in anxiety and depression among older adults, with pre-existing elevated depressive symptoms exacerbating their resilience during this period. Increased isolation, financial strain, and restricted access to support services have led to a surge in elder abuse cases, disproportionately affecting women. Effective strategies, such as raising awareness and ensuring timely provision of resources, are crucial to safeguarding the mental well-being of the elderly. Indonesia's commitment to sustainable development and health equity, exemplified through initiatives like the Sustainable Development Goals, must address the specific challenges faced by elderly women in communities like Panggungan Village. The demographic shift towards an aging population, coupled with the pandemic's effects, further magnifies vulnerabilities. Empowering community-based resources can provide holistic support to elderly women, contributing to sustainable health development and social equity. Methods: The approach targets 15 Posyandu Lansia cadres and 20 elderly women in Panggungan Village through an offline community service program adhering to health protocols. Tools used in this study were the Mental Health Improvement Module, Geriatric Depression Scale questionnaire, and knowledge/skills assessment for Posyandu Lansia cadres. A combined quantitative and qualitative analysis was applied. Results: Results showed that 55% prevalence of verbal violence, 45% neglect, and 35% exploitation violence among elderly women. Post-training, these figures improved to 25% for verbal violence, 10% for exploitation violence, and 15% for neglect violence. Depression tendencies witnessed a 25% shift. Cadres’ knowledge increased from 58.2 to 82.1, and skills improved from 63.5 to 79.2. Conclusion: Elevated violence and depression tendencies that were quite high, negatively impact elderly women's mental health in Panggungan Village. Cadre’s training significantly enhances residents' well-being and mental health, offering a meaningful solution.

Abstract

Introduction: In Dusun Kadilobo, approximately 50 elderly women are facing significant physical, mental, social, and spiritual health challenges as a result of the prolonged eruption of Mount Merapi and the lingering effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. These challenges manifest as increased levels of anxiety and depression, as well as physical ailments such as hypertension and diabetes, further complicated by social and cognitive impairments. Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) aims to empower posbindu cadres through education, training, and technology based on local product marketing. The program specifically addresses both health—through the development of the “Enhancing the Seven Dimensions of Resilient Elderly” module—and economic struggles faced by elderly women in the area. By empowering Posbindu cadres, the initiative aims to strengthen the resilience of elderly women affected by the eruption and the pandemic, with a focus on food security and product marketing to ultimately improve their economic stability and overall well-being.Methods: The community service project targeted 20 Posbindu Lansia cadres and 30 elderly women in Dusun Kadilobo, Purwobinangun, Pakem, Sleman, conducted from July to September 2023. Research tools included the "Enhancing the Seven Dimensions of Resilient Elderly" and "Enhancing Food Security Processing and Economic Improvement for Elderly Women" modules, alongside questionnaires and videos. Pre-tests and post-tests examined knowledge and skills improvement in resilient elderly women, local food security processing, and health status across various dimensions. Data were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative descriptive methods. Results: Following the community service activities, notable improvements were observed in knowledge and skills related to resilient elderly empowerment, local food processing, and the various dimensions of resilience in elderly individuals. Conclusion: Empowering Posbindu cadres has the potential to enhance the health resilience, food security, and economic conditions of elderly women in Dusun Kadilobo, Purwobinangun, Sleman, Yogyakarta
