Abstract

A 3D printer is the result of the development of automated machining technology, which progresses from the creation of a design to the printing of a product with a complex shape and high precision for optimal printing results. The 3D printer design process begins with the creation of a design to determine the machine's dimensions, followed by the determination of specifications for the required motors, the design of electrical wiring to select the specifications for a controller, and finally, the testing of the tools when 3D printing. The accuracy of 3D corexy printers and 3D Cartesian printers are compared experimentally in this study. The printing process using a 3D printer produced two values that exceeded the tolerance limit, one in each dimension's length and width, according to the results of ten tests. The printing process results in a 3D Printer Cartesian exceeding the tolerance limit by four values: one for the length dimension, two for the width dimension, and one for the height or depth dimension. The 3D Printer Corexy is consequently more precise than the 3D Printer Cartesian because it fails less frequently.

Abstract

Computerized numerical control (CNC) is one example of advances in automated machine technology. CNC can fulfil high precision and complex product specifications. Industrial CNC milling is still expensive regarding the hardware and software required to operate it. As a result, CNC milling machines are only used by large companies, with only a few mid-sized industries using them. It makes it impossible for medium enterprises to compete with large industries in terms of quality and output. This research aims to develop a CNC that uses an offline Wi-Fi controller based on ESP32 as an application that supports CNC machine work processes for use in small and medium enterprises. In an experiment, the precision of a CNC milling machine equipped with a sliding mode controller (SMC) controller was compared with that of a CNC machine equipped with an ESP-32 Wi-Fi controller. The CNC milling process with SMC control exceeds the tolerance limits in three dimensions based on the results of ten tests, namely length, width, and height or depth. Six values, two in each dimension of length, width, and height or depth, exceeded tolerance limits due to the CNC milling machine's ESP32 Wi-Fi control. Therefore, the CNC with SMC control is more accurate than the ESP32 Wi-Fi control because there are fewer failures with the former. This research has been carried out and provides input for the implementation of SMC, which can be considered in the CNC milling process.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan PkM ini agar memberikan keberadaan UMKM mampu mendongkrak perekonomian seiring berkembangnya era persaingan bebas, seperti WTO, AFTA, APEC, dan AEC, dan agar selalu siap menghadapi krisis ekonomi global. Berkaitan dengan era persaingan tersebut, maka UMKM dituntut untuk selalu meningkatkan daya saingnya agar dapat terus berjalan dan berkembang. Metode kegiatan Pk Mini menggunakan metode sosialisasi. Salah satunya adalah dengan menerapkan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi sebagai penunjang kegiatan usahanya. Digital marketing adalah sebuah produk teknologi informasi dimana berupa kegiatan mempromosikan produk dan atau jasa melalui media internet. Kementrian Koperasi dan Usaha Kecil Menengah menyatakan bahwa dari 58 juta UMKM baru 3.78 juta saja atau sekitar 8% yang sudah memanfaatkan digital marketing dalam menunjang kegiatan bisnisnya sedangkan fakta menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan digital marketing untuk pemasaran produk dan jasa terbukti mampu meningkatkan penghasilan UMKM hingga sampai 26% (bisnis.com)

Abstract

Egg incubators are devices designed to create optimal conditions for eggs to hatch into chicks. Several important factors that must be considered in the egg incubator include temperature, humidity and air flow rate in the egg incubator chamber. Simulation of heat propagation and airflow rate in the hatchery was carried out using CFD software. The simulation results of heat propagation with a heating source above the egg rack obtained a maximum temperature of 312oK or the equivalent of 38.85o C which is right below the heater while the lowest temperature is 311°K or the equivalent of 37.85°C which is in the corner of the hatchery. The simulation results of the air flow rate with an air flow velocity of 1m/s obtained that the egg incubator with a heating source above the egg rack has an air flow rate in the hatchery space that is evenly distributed throughout the room so that the air can reach all the eggs in the hatchery room with a level hatching success of 80.5%.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the tourism sector, including Doplang tourist village, which was recognized as an attractive tourist destination in Semarang Regency. The pandemic situation presented significant challenges that resulted in demotivation among the community in developing the tourism potential of this area. In the context of institutional innovation, this community empowerment aims to address the demotivation of Doplang tourist village's community caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, which disrupted the development of tourism potential. One crucial step in achieving this goal is to implement changes and improvements in the structure and mechanisms of organizations involved in managing the tourism destination in the village. Through institutional innovation, it is expected that more effective collaboration and synergy will be created among all parties involved. These changes aim to enhance active participation from the community in decision-making related to tourism development. Consequently, the community will play a more active role in managing their own tourist destination and collectively identifying the potential of local tourism that can be developed. The outcomes of this program also include efforts to raise awareness within the community about developing local tourism potential and creatively promoting the village through social media. Through effective collaboration among various stakeholders, it is hoped that Doplang tourist village will recover from the impact of the pandemic, increase tourist visits, stimulate the local economy, and strengthen the village's image as a competitive, sustainable, and unique tourism destination.

Abstract

Desa Doplang merupakan satuan wilayah pemerintahan yang berada di Kecamatan Bawen Kabupaten Semarang Jawa Tengah Indonesia. Desa ini memiliki lahan bunga sedap malam (Polianthes tuberosa) seluas 3 hektar yang di andalkan oleh warga sebagai sumber penghasilan. Sayangnya, masyarakat Desa Doplang belum mampu untuk meningkatkan nilai tambah potensi bunga sedap malam yang mereka miliki. Bunga sedap malam yang sudah siap panen biasanya diambil oleh tengkulak dan dijual dalam bentuk mentah. Hal ini sering merugikan petani karena harga ditentukan oleh tengkulak secara sepihak. Oleh karena itu, Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) inovasi pengolahan hasil pertanian bunga sedap malam berbasis destilasi sederhana minyak atsiri dilaksanakan. Beberapa produk olahan bunga sedap malam seperti minyak wangi, minyak telon, dan hand sanitizer dari bunga sedap malam diajarkan kepada warga Desa Doplang. Harapan dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya ketrampilan warga untuk melakukan inovasi dan diversivikasi produk berbasis bunga sedap malam. Hal ini akan secara langsung meningkatkan nilai jual hasil pertaniannya.

Abstract

Culture is the primary identity of a nation, to be preserved and passed down through generations. Cultural preservation of local Indonesian heritage, such as traditional costumes and dances, faces significant challenges in the era of globalization. With its cultural richness, Indonesia utilizes cultural diplomacy as a form of soft power to introduce and preserve its cultural heritage on the international stage, including in Cabanatuan City, Philippines. This community service activity aims to socialize various traditional Indonesian costumes and the Tari Denok dance to the residents of Cabanatuan City. The event was held at Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology in the Philippines. The method used was socialization through performances of traditional attire and Tari Denok, attended by more than 500 participants. The performances of traditional costumes and Tari Denok were divided into two days: August 22, 2025, and September 11, 2025. The results of this activity demonstrate strong enthusiasm among residents of Cabanatuan City for Indonesian culture. The results of this activity increased participants' knowledge and understanding of various traditional Indonesian clothing and Tari Denok.

Abstract

Penggunaan bahan bakar minyak di Indonesia mengalami kenaikan pada setiap tahun. Kementrian ESDM menyatakan bahwa pada tahun 2023 penggunaan bahan bakar minyak mencapai 505 juta barel atau 80 juta kiloliter. Penggunaan hidrogen sebagai sumber energi pada alat las HHO dapat berpotensi untuk mengurangi emisi karbon sekaligus meningkatkan efisiensi energi. Metode yang dipakai untuk menghasilkan gas HHO salah satunya yaitu dengan menggunakan generator HHO tipe kering dry cell dan memakai plat stainless steel 316 sebagai elektroda. Untuk metode ini, sistem yang digunakan yaitu penguraian air (H2O) menjadi gas hidrogen (H) dan oksigen (O2) melalui proses elektrolisis dengan bantuan elektrolit. Penggunan HHO pada alat las memiliki beberapa kelebihan, seperti api yang menyala lebih panas dan stabil serta kemampuan untuk memotong dan menyambung logam dengan presisi tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Laju produksi gas dari generator HHO berdasarkan variasi persentase katalis serta pengaruh perbedaan ampere terhadap laju produksi gas generator HHO. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui metode triangulasi (integratif), dengan analisis bersifat induktif maupun kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi persentase katalis, semakin besar laju produksi gas. Konsentrasi katalis kalium hidroksida sebesar 1,5% menghasilkan laju produksi optimal dibandingkan dengan konsentrasi 0,5% dan 1%. Semakin besar volume air, semakin lama waktu yang diperlukan untuk melarutkan larutan elektrolit sebagai konduktor arus listrik. Peningkatan kandungan KOH dalam air meningkatkan konduktivitas listrik, sehingga larutan elektrolit menjadi lebih jenuh dan pekat. Selain itu, semakin tinggi arus ampere, semakin tinggi laju produksi gas, dengan ampere 30A menghasilkan produktivitas brown’s gas tertinggi dibandingkan 25A dan 20A. Hal ini disebabkan oleh peningkatan jumlah dan kepadatan muatan elektron yang mempercepat pencapaian elektroda dan pembentukan gelembung gas hidrogen. Penambahan KOH (kalium hidroksida) menyebabkan perubahan warna pada larutan elektrolisis HHO, semakin banyak KOH yang digunakan, senakin pekat pula warna larutannya. Peningkatan arus Listrik (ampare) serta penambahan katalis dapat mempercepat proses pembentukan gelembung gas HHO, sehingga bisa menghasilkan lidah api lebih Panjang untuk pengelasan.

Abstract

Technological advancements, including 3D printing, enable the creation of prototypes from digital designs using 3D printers. A popular method is Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) with thermoplastic materials such as Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), valued for its quality and affordability. In 3D printing, nozzle temperature and infill type influence the mechanical properties of printed objects. This study aims to determine the tensile strength of ABS with variations in nozzle temperature and infill type. Tensile test results show that a 230°C nozzle temperature produces higher yield strength for most infill types compared to 240°C. The 240°C setting tends to increase maximum tensile strength for grid and concentric infills, but not for gyroid and lines. The concentric infill type exhibited the highest elongation at both temperatures, indicating greater ductility compared to other infill types. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for optimizing printing parameters.
