This study uses a case study design with a descriptive observational method with a focus on the application of CLEAR, ROLES and GATHER counseling techniques. The subject of this case study is Ms. M, aged 24 years. This case study was carried out at PMB Siti Nuraeni in May 2022. Data was collected directly (primary data) using the Varney management approach and documentation in the form of SOAP (subjective data assessment, objective data assessment, data analysis and case management). Then the data were analyzed in descriptive analysis. Conclusion of this study that counseling technique used in premarital care cases is in accordance with the theory, namely by using the CLEAR technique (Clarifying, Listening, Encouraging, Asking for feedback, Repeating). Body posture uses the ROLES approach (Relaxing, Opening up the client, Learning toward the client, Establishing eye contact, Smiling and squarely). Abstract

Abstract

The Indonesia National Adolescent Mental Health Survey (I-NAMHS) shows data that 1 in 3 teenagers aged 10-17 years in Indonesia have had mental health problems in the last 12 months. The highest prevalence occurs in the age group 15-24 years and female gender. There are many factors that influence the mental and emotional state of teenagers, namely the family environment, peers, school environment, community environment and social media. For teenagers, peer support for emotional support such as empathy, care and attention is very important because it can make them feel loved and increase self-esteem. One way to improve mental health in teenagers is by increasing teenagers' knowledge about mental health Keywords: Mental Health, Screening, Education, Adolescent

Abstract

Dysmenorrhea is a common complaint frequently experienced by adolescent girls, which may negatively impact daily activities and quality of life. This study aims to determine the effect of abdominal stretching on menstrual pain intensity in adolescent girls. A quasi-experimental method was employed with a pretest-posttest design without a control group. The study population consisted of 88 students from grades X and XI at SMAN 1 Penawartama, with 42 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation and interviews using a numerical pain scale. The findings revealed that the average pain intensity before abdominal stretching was 3.00, which decreased to 1.00 after the intervention. The Wilcoxon test produced a p-value of 0.000, indicating a significant effect of abdominal stretching in reducing menstrual pain. These results suggest that abdominal stretching can be a practical, non-pharmacological alternative therapy that is easily applied independently by adolescents. The study recommends the incorporation of abdominal stretching exercises in school physical education curricula or adolescent reproductive health programs.

Abstract

Labor pain can lead to decreased contractions and prolonged labor. According to World data in the World Health Organization in 2019, the case of mothers with painful labor states that only 10-15% of labor lasts without pain, thus the data is most found in mothers with painful labor, namely a prevalence of 85-90% of labor takes place with pain. The rebozo technique and warm compress are new non-pharmacological therapies to reduce the intensity of labor pain that are easy, inexpensive, and comfortable for mothers. Objective: To find out the comparison of rebozo technique and warm compress on the intensity of pain reduction in pregnant women during the first active phase. Research Method: The type of research is Quasi experiment pre-test and post-test two group design. Technique of sampling purposive samples. The data were analyzed by paired T test and Wilcoxon test. Results: The results of the analysis showed that the average respondent after being given the rebozo technique experienced a decrease in pain of 3.27, while the respondents after being given warm compresses experienced a decrease in pain of 4.87 with a p-value of 0.006 so it was concluded that there was a significant difference in the reduction in the intensity of labor pain given by the rebozo technique and warm compress, where the rebozo technique was more effective compared to the administration of warm compresses. Suggestion: Apply the natural method of the rebozo technique during the delivery process as one of the mother's loving care that will provide a sense of comfort and can reduce labor pain in childbirth mothers.
