Abstract

In the clinic, the BNN Banjarmasin urine testing service is still manual, especially the registration and payment. It takes a long time and leads to a stay in service. The method in this research is a case study. Then a web-based computerised system is built so that for self-filled data in registrations and transactions, there is no need to bother with handwriting, and documents will be automatically recorded on the system. The author recommends that businesses integrate applications that are designed into their operations because doing so would increase the efficiency of all business transactions and allow the agency and patients to directly benefit from the system.

Abstract

The BNN City Health Clinic in Banjarmasin requires an effective and efficient system to manage cash receipt records to ensure smooth operations and optimal health services. In this research, the author employs a qualitative method using both qualitative and quantitative data, with data collection methods including interviews, observations, and literature studies. The author highlights the issue of manual cash receipt recording, which not only reduces effectiveness and efficiency but also increases the likelihood of errors. The author recommends the immediate design and implementation of an accounting information system specifically designed for the purpose of recording cash receipts. This system must be able to accurately record every transaction, issue payment receipts, and generate the necessary financial reports. Additionally, we must implement the segregation of duties in the cash receipt process to mitigate the risk of errors and fraud. It is also important to implement strict internal controls to ensure transaction accuracy and auditability.

Abstract

According to data from the Ministry of Cooperation and SMEs, there will be 65.4 million UMKM in Indonesia in 2019, which can absorb a total of 123.3 thousand workers from the enterprise unit. This shows that UMKM has a major impact on the reduction in the unemployment rate in Indonesia. On the other hand, current technological developments can also be a booster for activity in the field of UMKM. In their business activities, many UMKMs conduct transactions and financial recording manually, which, of course, has the potential for mismatches in the recording and is considered less effective. Therefore, with the qualitative method and data analysis with one of the models of system development, namely waterfall, the author conducted this research and obtained results in line with the previous research that the presence of an account receivable management information system can help the management carry out account receivable recording procedures well, fast, and efficiently, so that it is expected to increase productivity and sustainability of the enterprise and can easily do account receivable administration

Abstract

This study develops an Internet of Things (IoT)-based monitoring system to detect cigarette smoke using the MQ135 gas sensor. Cigarette smoke is a major contributor to indoor air pollution and contains harmful chemical compounds that pose health risks to both active and passive smokers. The system integrates the MQ135 sensor with the NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller to collect air quality data and transmit it to an IoT platform for real-time monitoring. Testing results show that the MQ135 sensor responds quickly to changes in air quality, with PPM values increasing significantly when exposed to cigarette smoke compared to normal conditions. Data are displayed through a cloud-based dashboard and notification alerts are sent when pollutant levels exceed a predefined threshold. The findings indicate that the proposed system operates reliably and effectively, making it suitable for indoor environments to support smoke-free areas and improve air quality monitoring practices.
