Abstract

Saat ini, situasi keuangan dari enam kelompok Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) yang bergerak di sektor produksi kerupuk di wilayah Kuin Utara Banjarmasin dapat dianggap stabil. Meskipun mereka berhasil bertahan, tetap mampu memproduksi dan memasarkan produk mereka selama dan setelah masa pandemi, namun potensi yang dimiliki oleh kelompok-kelompok ini belum diimbangi dengan catatan keuangan yang memadai. Oleh karena itu, terdapat kebutuhan untuk memberikan pemahaman mengenai pencatatan keuangan yang sederhana dan mudah dipahami kepada para mitra UMKM. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman serta keterampilan dalam melaksanakan pencatatan transaksi keuangan. Proses pelatihan ini akan melibatkan tahap pemberian materi oleh narasumber, penyelesaian kasus-kasus terkait, dan evaluasi berupa ujian akhir. Secara menyeluruh, hasil dari pelatihan ini menunjukkan bahwa para mitra UMKM memberikan tanggapan yang positif terhadap pelatihan tersebut. Pelaksanaan pelatihan ini dinilai berjalan lancar oleh 66,7% peserta dan sangat lancar oleh 33,3% peserta. Selain itu, kemampuan tim yang menyampaikan materi pelatihan dinilai sangat baik oleh 66,7% peserta pelatihan dan dinilai baik oleh 33,3% peserta. Dengan menerapkan pencatatan yang benar terkait pemasukan dan pengeluaran keuangan dalam bisnis mereka, mitra UMKM dapat menghindari percampuran antara keuangan bisnis dan keuangan pribadi, dengan demikian mereka dapat lebih jelas mengenai biaya yang telah dikeluarkan dan menghindari kerugian yang tak terduga. Simple Financial Recording to Enhance Financial Literacy Among Tapioca Chips UMKM Groups in Northern Kuin, Banjarmasin  Presently, the financial landscape of the six Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) groups operating in the chips production sector within the northern Kuin region of Banjarmasin, is considered to exhibit a state of stability. Despite their commendable resilience in enduring, sustaining production, and marketing their products during and beyond the pandemic era, the latent potential inherent in these collectives remains incongruent with a commensurate level of financial record-keeping. Consequently, there exists a requisition for the dissemination of comprehension regarding rudimentary and easily comprehensible financial documentation to the MSME partners. The underlying objective of this training is to elevate the understanding as well as proficiency in the execution of financial transaction recording. This pedagogical process will encompass phases of didactic delivery by a resource person, resolution of pertinent cases, and culminate in an evaluative denouement in the form of a concluding assessment. Overall, the outcomes emanating from this pedagogical endeavor manifest that the MSME collaborators proffered sanguine responses towards the instructional intervention. The orchestration of this instructional program is adjudged to have transpired seamlessly by 66.7% of the participants, while being deemed exceptionally smooth by 33.3% of the cohort. Furthermore, the adeptness demonstrated by the instructional team garners an appraisal of utmost excellence from 66.7% of the training attendees, with a laudable endorsement from 33.3% of the participants. Through the meticulous application of accurate financial delineation encompassing inflows and outflows within their commercial pursuits, the MSME partners are poised to avert the intermingling of business and personal finances, thereby affording them heightened lucidity pertaining to the disbursed costs and preempting unforeseen losses.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membantu meningkatkan keberlanjutan usaha UMKM Kerupuk di Kuin Utara, Banjarmasin, dengan fokus pada pelatihan perhitungan harga pokok produksi (HPP). Pelatihan Perhitungan Harga Pokok Produksi telah banyak dilaksanakan untuk membantu para pelaku usaha dalam menentukan HPP secara akurat, yang kerap menyebabkan penetapan harga jual yang kurang tepat. Namun, tidak banyak pelatihan yang menyediakan evaluasi berbasis pre-test dan post-test, memberikan simulasi dalam pelatihan, menggunakan metode Participatory Action Research, serta menekankan pentingnya keberlanjutan usaha karena dapat mempengaruhi daya saing mereka. Pendekatan yang digunakan pada PkM ini ialah Participatory Action Research (PAR). Pendekatan ini berorientasi pada pemberdayaan yang mengupayakan pemenuhan kebutuhan dan penyelesaian masalah praktis, pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan, dan proses perubahan sosial. Sedangkan, metode pelatihan yang digunakan mencakup penyampaian materi, diskusi kelompok, studi kasus, dan simulasi perhitungan HPP. Tim pelaksana PkM mengukur peningkatan ini melalui serangkaian tes dan observasi langsung selama proses pendampingan. Enam kelompok UMKM (12 orang) berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan ini. Sebelum pelatihan dimulai, hasil pre-test menunjukkan bahwa hanya 17% peserta yang memiliki pemahaman dasar tentang konsep HPP dan cara menghitungnya. Setelah pelatihan, evaluasi menunjukkan perubahan yang signifikan, di mana 83% peserta berhasil memahami dan menerapkan konsep HPP dengan lebih baik. Lebih dari 80% peserta kini lebih percaya diri dalam mengelola keuangan usaha mereka sehari-hari. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan penerapan konsep HPP yang benar, efisiensi operasional dan keberlanjutan usaha UMKM dapat meningkat. Tim pelaksana PkM berharap hasil ini dapat menjadi acuan bagi program serupa di masa mendatang, sekaligus mendorong para pelaku UMKM lainnya untuk terus belajar dan berkembang untuk keberlanjutan usaha masyarakat. Cost of Production Calculation at the Kuin Utara Cracker Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to Improve Community Business Sustainability Abstract This Community Service Program aims to help improve the sustainability of MSME Cracker businesses in Kuin Utara, Banjarmasin, with a focus on training for calculating the cost of production (COP). This training was conducted in response to the difficulties often faced by business actors in accurately determining the COP, which frequently leads to inaccurate selling prices and can affect their competitiveness. The approach used in this Community Service Program is Participatory Action Research (PAR). This approach is oriented towards empowerment that strives to meet needs, solve practical problems, develop knowledge, and promote social change. The training methods we used include material delivery, group discussions, case studies, and COP calculation simulations. Six MSME business actors participated in this activity. Before the training began, pre-test results showed that only 17% of participants had a basic understanding of the COP concept and how to calculate it. After the training, evaluations showed a significant improvement, with 83% of participants successfully understanding and applying the COP concept better. We measured this improvement through a series of tests and direct observations during the mentoring process. The results of this activity show that with the correct application of the COP concept, the operational efficiency and sustainability of MSME businesses can increase. More than 80% of participants are now more confident in managing their business finances on a daily basis. We hope that these results can serve as a reference for similar programs in the future, while also encouraging other MSME actors to continue learning and developing for community business sustainability.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the receipt and expenditure information system. The problem in this study is the recording of receipts and disbursement transactions at PT Gunung Samarinda which is still semi-manual using Microsoft Excel and is prone to data input errors. The case study approach used in this study included interviews, documentation, and direct observation. Types of qualitative and quantitative data used in this study. The results of the research are in the form of a cash receipts and disbursement application program that helps PT Gunung Samarinda to make the current system more effective and efficient.

Abstract

Abstrak Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) mempunyai kewajiban untuk membayar pajak setiap tahunnya. Namun, masih ada kendala terkait pencatatan dan pelaporan pajak. Oleh karena itu diperlukan bantuan teknologi seperti aplikasi kalkulator pajak. Metode penelitian mengikuti model pengembangan perangkat lunak Waterfall meliputi Analisa sistem, desain sistem, pengkodean, pengujian black box dan pemeliharaan. Hasil penelitian berupa aplikasi kalkulator pajak yang dirancang menggunakan bantuan use case diagram dan activity diagram. Abstract Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have the obligation to pay taxes every year. However, there are still obstacles related to tax recording and reporting. Therefore it requires the help of technology such as the application of a tax calculator. Research methods following the Waterfall software development life cycle include System analysis, system design, coding, black box testing and maintenance. The results of the study are in the form of a tax calculator application designed using the help of use case diagrams and activity diagrams.

Abstract

This article explores the development of a web-based accounting information system (AIS) for a sharia-based auction company. The aim was to streamline operational workflows, enhance financial reporting transparency, and automate complex financial transactions, ensuring compliance with sharia principles. The research method involved multiple stages, including requirement analysis, system design, system development, and evaluation. The successful implementation of the system led to improved efficiency, accuracy in financial reporting, and real-time insights for decision-making. Additionally, compliance checks confirmed the system’s adherence to sharia standards. The integration of modern technology with traditional ethical practices has enabled the company to uphold sharia principles while achieving operational excellence. This article provides insights into the benefits and challenges of developing and implementing a web-based accounting system in a sharia-based auction company, offering valuable lessons for similar initiatives in the industry.

Abstract

Mental health affects lives globally, with around 300 million people experiencing depression in 2019, including 15.6 million in Indonesia. The Covid-19 pandemic increased cases of anxiety and depression, and by 2022, WHO reported 23 million people suffering from psychiatric disorders. In Indonesia, adolescent mental health issues are also high, with excessive social media use linked to an increase in emotional disorders. Twitter, with its real-time data, is becoming an important tool for analyzing public sentiment and understanding opinions through analytics and machine learning techniques. This study aims to determine public sentiment towards mental health in Indonesia through Twitter social media and test the effectiveness of using machine learning in sentiment analysis. The results show that the Naive Bayes and Decision Tree methods are effective in analyzing sentiment, with an accuracy of 91% and 89% respectively. The average result of cross validation shows a value of 73.21% for Naive Bayes and 67.02% for Decision Tree. In this study, positive sentiment is more dominant with a percentage value of 78.7%, while negative sentiment is only 21.3%. The findings indicate that Indonesians' awareness of the importance of mental health is increasing, and they increasingly understand the importance of maintaining mental health

Abstract

One of the problems with MSMEs Serbuk Jahe Merah in Karang Indah Village, Barito Kuala District, is the difficulty of calculating the cost of production. The selling price is set based on simple calculations and comparison with competitor prices. The solution to this problem is to provide assistance in calculating the cost of production which will later be used as the basis for determining the selling price. The methods used in this activity are providing material by resource persons, assistance in calculating the cost of production and evaluation in the form of pre-tests and post-tests. Overall, this activity received a positive response from partners. This can be seen from the partners enthusiasm when filling out the worksheet for calculating the cost of production and during questions and answer. From the evaluation results, it is known that partners understanding of the cost of production increased by 41.8%, partners ability to classify production costs increased by 91.5% and partners skills in calculating the cost of production increased by 85%.

Abstract

Kegiatan bercocok tanam tidak hanya dilakukan oleh pria, wanita pun mampu melakukan kegiatan pertanian. Salah satunya adalah Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Mawar Kota Banjarbaru melalui program Pekarangan Pangan Lestari (P2L). Berdasarkan hasil observasi, selama ini hasil pertanian yang diperoleh langsung dijual atau dikonsumsi sendiri saja, terkadang tidak habis terjual dan dikonsumsi sehingga terbuang sia-sia karena umur simpan yang pendek. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu kegiatan pelatihan untuk anggota KWT agar dapat mengolah hasil pertaniannya dengan baik. Tujuan dari pelaksanaan kegiatan ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mitra dalam mengolah hasil pertanian serta menghitung harga pokok produksi nugget terong yang diolah. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pemberian materi dan tutorial pembuatan nugget terong. Hasil dari kegiatan ini yaitu peserta dapat membuat nugget   terong secara mandiri di rumah dan berdasarkan hasil pretest dan posttest menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman tentang menghitung harga pokok produksi, dari yang sebelum pemberian materi rata-rata nilai sebesar 49.94 dan setelah pemberian materi meningkat menjadi 76,79. Untuk keberlanjutan program, kegiatan pembuatan nugget terong ini diharapkan terus berlanjut agar dapat menambah penghasilan keluarga.

Abstract

This research is software development aimed at engineering an expert system to diagnose diseases transmitted by mosquito bites based on the web. This system can provide an initial diagnosis of diseases transmitted by mosquito bites to patients based on symptoms they experience, without needing to directly consult an expert. The system development follows the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approach. SDLC itself in software engineering is a process for creating and developing systems, as well as models and methodologies used to develop systems. The method used in this expert system is forward chaining, where the tracking starts with a set of facts and then moves toward a conclusion. The system was developed using PHP programming language and MySQL as the software to store the data. The results show that the expert system provides consistent results and answers. Expert validation looked at two key aspects, resulting in scores of 91.50% and 90.95%. Both are categorized as "highly valid," which shows that the system is reliable and ready to be used in practice.

Abstract

This research evaluates the implementation of Zahir Accounting as a digital financial management solution for UMKM Nazwa Sasirangan in Banjarmasin. The study aims to enhance operational efficiency and financial accuracy through the use of Zahir Accounting. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method, including data collection from financial records, observation, and structured interviews with key stakeholders. The analysis focuses on the financial performance of UMKM, examining aspects such as total assets, equity, revenue, cost of goods sold, operating expenses, and net income. Results indicate that Zahir Accounting significantly improves the accuracy of financial records and the transparency of financial reporting. The total assets of the UMKM reached Rp 93,163,833, with equity amounting to Rp 84,151,378. Despite recording a net loss of Rp 1,676,000 due to high cost of goods sold and operating expenses, the UMKM maintained a positive net cash flow from operating activities of Rp 14,129,000. The implementation of Zahir Accounting also reduced errors in transaction recording and facilitated more precise financial analysis. This research confirms previous findings that digital financial management tools can enhance the competitiveness and operational efficiency of UMKM. The study concludes that while the UMKM faces challenges in cost management, the adoption of Zahir Accounting provides significant benefits in terms of financial accuracy and strategic decision-making. Recommendations for future improvements include continuous training for staff, periodic evaluation of pricing strategies, and regular audits of operational costs. Overall, digitalization through Zahir Accounting is proven to be an effective modern solution for addressing financial management challenges in UMKM
