Abstract

Mathematics learning in SMKN 1 Gerung considered by some students is a difficult and tedious lesson. Learning is still teacher-centered and leads to reduced activity and enthusiasm for students in learning. The purpose of this study is to improve student activity and achievement using Jerold E. Kemp-based PQ4R method on the subject matter of linear program of students of class X-TSM SMKN 1 Gerung academic year 2012/2013. This study was conducted using classroom action research (PTK). The number of subjects in this study was 24 people. Observation data of student and teacher activity is qualitative and student learning evaluation is quantitative data. The instruments used are RPP, student and teacher observation sheets, LKS, and evaluation tests. The results showed that there is an increase in student activity and achievement from first to second cycle. Increased student learning activities can be seen in the results of the first cycle of observation I (the category is quite active) and at the second meeting (active category). In cycle II at session I and II (active category). The completeness of learning cycle I is 56.52%, because in the first cycle of classical completeness has not met the required ≥85% of students who got the value of ≥75 then the research continued into the second cycle. Finally, through the improvements obtained classical completeness in the second cycle reached 87.50%. It can be concluded that the application of Jerold E. Kemp theory based on PQ4R method can increase student activity and achievement.

Abstract

The objectives of the study were to develop a self assessment instrument, its specific characteristics and its procedure and to analyse the consistency between the assessment of the students and the lecturer. This study was a research and development (R and D) using the R and D model offered by Borg and Gall. The samples of this study were 32 students who took the course of Fashion Technology II. They were selected with purposive sampling. The methods of data collection consisted of assessment sheets, rubrics, assessment procedures and scoring. The instrument used the content validity based on expert judgment and inter-rater reliability. The results of this study were: (1) The developed self assessment instruments that consist of the assessment sheets and the rubrics; (2) the assessment procedure was developed starting from the socialisation instrument and the observation instrument while the self assessment was started from preparation to results; (3) the consistency between the assessment of the students and the lecturer was rated by the Kappa coefficient of 0.69

Abstract

Abstract

Diabetes melitus tipe 2 merupakan penyakit kronis akibat gangguan produksi insulin yang dapat menyebabkan komplikasi serius. Salah satu masalah yang sering dialami penderita adalah fatigue dimana penderita merasa cepat lelah. Fatigue disebabkan oleh perubahan metabolisme energi yang dapat menurunkan produksi ATP sehingga menyebabkan beberapa faktor seperti periode sakit, spiritualitas dan efikasi diri. Periode sakit yang lama dapat menyebabkan gula darah tidak stabil, gangguan tidur dan penurunan energi. Spiritualitas membantu penderita menerima penyakitnya, mengurangi stres dan meningkatkan motivasi diri. Sedangkan efikasi diri dapat membantu penderita lebih percaya diri dalam mengelola penyakitnya sehingga dapat mengurangi fatigue. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi hubungan antara periode sakit, spiritualitas.dan efikasi diri dengan fatigue pada penderita diabetes melitus tipe 2. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain analitik korelasi dengan pendekatan cross-sectional yang dilakukan di bulan Mei 2025 menggunakan rumus slovin didapatkan sampel berjumlah 67 responden teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling, dengan menggunakan kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi. Kriteria inklusi adalah penderita diabetes melitus tipe 2 ≥18 tahun sedangkan kriteria eksklusi adalah penderita yang dengan komplikasi akut dan mengalami gangguan kognitif yang memengaruhi kemampuan memberikan jawaban kuesioner secara mandiri. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner tentang periode sakit, spiritualitas menggunakan Spiritual-Self CarePractice Scale (SSCPS) dan efikasi diri menggunakan The Diabetes Management Self Efficacy Scale for tipe 2 DM (DMSES) dengan fatigue menggunakan Fatigue Severity Scale (FSS) pada variabel dependen yaitu fatigue dan variabel independent yaitu periode sakit, spiritualitas dan efikasi diri. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan analisis univariat dan bivariat dengan uji spearman untuk menilai hubungan antar variabel. Hasil penelitian memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan fatigue, periode sakit memiliki hubungan yang lemah (r= -0,355, p= 0,003), sedangkan spiritualitas (r= -0,277, p= 0,023), kemudian efikasi diri (r= -0,292, p= 0,016). Puskesmas dapat memperhatikan aspek spiritualitas, dan efikasi diri dalam penanganan fatigue pada penderita diabetes melitus tipe 2.

Abstract

This research is a follow-up research and development of a comprehensive guidance and counseling curriculum in SMK in the industrial revolution’s era 4.0. The existence of manufacturing technology that has entered the trend of automation and data exchange, including cyber-physical systems, namely the internet of things (IoT), cognitive computing and digitization in various aspects of life, makes vocational education a challenge in preparing human resources who are able to contribute active according to the area of ​​expertise for the progress of the nation in the industrial revolution’s era 4.0. The development of a guidance and counseling curriculum in SMK that is responsive to the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 includes the development of methods, strategies and service materials, namely in accordance with comprehensive, competency-based guidance and counseling. This curriculum will contain: the services and objectives of each domain, the formulation of class level competencies (measurable student success standards), details of activities that students and counselors must do in one unit of time. The development of this curriculum uses the research and development design of Borg and Gall which has reached the small group test stage. The small group test was carried out on 15 Vocational School Counseling Teachers throughout the Surakarta Ex-Karesidenan by selecting subjects using the random sampling method. The results of the small group test showed a indicator very good in the academic, career, and personal or social fields.

Abstract

Student learning outcomes to date are still less than what the teacher expects, it is time for teachers to fix the learning process, especially Civics, especially regarding the models, approaches, or techniques used in learning. Several kinds of learning models are expected to be able to overcome problems in Civics learning, including the Connected Model Integrated Learning This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was conducted in two cycle stages. Cycle I consisted of two meetings and cycle II consisted of one meeting. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting, The subjects in this study were students of class XI MM1 SMKn 4 Jember, totaling 41 students. The indicator of success in this study is if 75% of students are actively involved in learning and there is also an increase in learning outcomes in each cycle through the post test and if 85% of students can achieve the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) determined by the school, which is 77. The results showed that with the application of the treasure hunt method through the articulation learning model in Civics subjects, the material for Implementation of Democracy in Indonesia in class XI MMI 1, the overall score of student learning activities on each indicator increased by 14.97%, from the average cycle I. by 73.61% to 81.94% in the second cycle. Increased mastery of student learning outcomes increased from the first cycle of 21 students (58.3%) to 31 students (86.1%) who achieved the KKM score in the second cycle
